We completed a 12 day tour of Sri Lanka through the KimKim platform and can report an overwhelmingly positive experience. The booking process was easy and Dhanushka, the local specialist, was very attentive and helpful and provided many other options to craft a holiday that suited our group of 8 adults. He kept in touch throughout our time in Sri Lanka to ensure that things were going well.
We were met at the airport by our tour leader, Ajith, who was both our guide and driver throughout the trip. Ajith was a delightful person to spend the holiday with and provided many other options and experiences through the trip other than just the itinerary. He was helpful and pleasant at all times and provided use with a wealth of information about Sri Lankan culture, history, food and the plants and animals we saw. We appreciated his safe driving through the apparent chaos of the roads of Sri Lanka.
We highly recommend a holiday in Sri Lanka and feel after 12 days we have only just scratched the surface of all the country has to offer. We were met with kindness and a great sense of humour from all those we met. We are grateful for the experience that Dhanushka and Ajith provided and recommend them very highly.

We had a truly memorable trip. Roshan was a fantastic guide. His knowledge of everything was outstanding. He was kind and attentive. He even added in extra stops that he thought would be interesting. We really appreciated him and I can't recommend him highly enough. The initial help from kimkim was very good. All in all we had a great holiday.

Taru Villas in Kandy had a certain charm with its colonial style, but the room was rather dark due to the shuttered windows, which we couldn't open because of the mosquitoes. It felt a bit confined. However, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay pleasant despite the drawbacks.

Visiting Kandy's Royal Botanical Garden was a lovely experience. The garden was vast and beautiful with so much to see, including trees filled with bats which was quite captivating. It's a serene place that's definitely worth a visit when in Kandy.

Cooking Demo at Melheim Resort

The cooking demo at Melheim Resort was absolutely enjoyable. As someone who loves cooking, it was enlightening to learn new recipes and techniques from the local chefs. The experience was fun and engaging, and I appreciated the keen interest and assistance from the staff.

Morning Safari in Yala National Park

The safari in Yala National Park was fantastic! It was one of our favorite activities, and the opportunity to see wildlife up close was incredible. The guides were knowledgeable and ensured we had a memorable experience. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting the area.
