From start to finish, this was the easiest process of planning an international trip for my family. Alex provided great options and help with deciding the final itinerary based off of our interests and top priorities for what we wanted to see and do. It made our 9 days in Belize absolutely AMAZING!! We were picked up by Cameron at the airport for our almost 2 hour drive to our lodge in San Igancio. He was so nice and informative and made the drive a lot of fun. Alex recommended we stay at Falling Leaves Lodge and I am so glad we did. Paula and Kevin were wonderful and the entire restaurant staff treated us like family. While in San Ignacio , our guide to the Xunantunich ruins could not have been better. Onil made the entire day! He was so full of knowledge and fun facts and made us laugh the entire day. When rain and high water levels in the caves canceled our booked plans, Lilia with BASS tours made it so easy to pivot and find other fun options for our day. She stayed in contact with us during our stay to make sure our tours and excursions were going well. Really can't say enough about how well we were taken care of during our trip. After 9 days, Cameron picked us up at the ferry port in Belize City for the drive back to the airport. It was like greating an old friend and catching up on our trip and how we rang in the New Year. I will definitely use the KimKim team to plan another epic adventure with my family!

Hotel Review
Falling Leaves Lodge
San Ignacio

I am already missing the views of San Ignacio and the staff at Falling Leaves Lodge. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, it was exceptional service. We felt like family to Paula and Kevin and would love to go back one day.

Belize

We didn't get to do the cave tubing part of this tour because of high waters from all the rain but we opted to still do the ziplining. We are so glad we did! It was so much fun and absolutely beautiful. Give the guides your phone for the best pictures and videos of your family.

You can't go to San Ignacio and not visit the Xunantunich ruins. It was breathtaking and our guide was very knowledgeable with a lot of fun facts.

It means a lot to know that the planning process felt easy and that the itinerary reflected your family’s interests and priorities. I’m thrilled that Belize delivered such an amazing experience for you.

I’m also very glad Lilia and the team were able to pivot smoothly when the weather changed, such a bad thing. Flexibility and care in moments like that are so important, and I’m happy you felt well supported throughout the trip. And Cameron and all the team will be delighted to hear your kind words.

Thank you again for trusting the KimKim team and me with your family adventure. It was truly a pleasure working with you, and I’d be honored to help plan your next epic trip whenever you’re ready, Guatemala perhaps. :)

Warm regards from Antigua,
Alex
