Our trip to Mexico City and Oaxaca was terrific. Such an interesting itinerary! And all of our guides were so professional and flexible. If we needed extra time somewhere we could do that. Other times if we all agreed to switch up our itinerary we could. It. It was just a matter of another place to visit being better for us. Everyone’s attitude could not have been more positive. And they were all well informed so we are full of facts about Mexico!
Our stay at Pug Seal in Oaxaca was magical. The whole ambience of the hotel is so relaxing and beautiful. The service is top notch. Smiles all around on the staff. That makes anyone’s stay so much more fun. Also, the breakfast there is quite good. You can have delicious unusual Mexican dishes or you can order the classic eggs and toast. They accommodate you and are pleased to do it.
Our opinion of our stay at Casa Decu in Mexico City is mixed. The neighborhood is perfect. Close to restaurants and lots of other things you might want to see or need, yet quiet and comfortable at night. Our room had the added attraction of being huge. We actually had a small living room and small kitchenette. The extra space came in handy as my husband was sick and was able to sleep in the living room on the comfy sofa. The downside was that is was quite dark and you had to walk four flight of stairs to get to breakfast, which was a bit of a disappointment. Really more of a continental breakfast. Not really worth four flights of stairs. The terrace setting is lovely though.
All in all, KimKim gets a 90% from us. We hope to use you again.

Our room was really large which was convenient as my husband was ill and able to sleep in the “living room.” However, it was quite dark and you have to walk up four flights of stairs to get a mediocre, continental style breakfast.
Magical environment. Amazing staff. Terrific breakfast. Wanted to take the bed, sheets and all home.

Juan has so much enthusiasm. He ended up being with us for 3 days and we really got to know how professional and flexible he is. He’s a great guide!
Our chef and we made healthy tasty authentic Mexican Mole Verde. It was delicious. Also homemade tortillas. He was gracious and wonderful.
