Wellington by Blue Orchid Hotel was an excellent choice for accommodations during our trip. We could walk or take Uber Boats water taxi to all venues in London — Westminster Abbey, Churchill War Rooms, Tower of London, London Eye and Victoria Palace Theatre. The tour bus tour to Kent for stops at Leeds Castle, Canterbury and Dover was particularly enjoyable thanks to our guide, Debra.
Hotel Review
The rooms were comfortable. The location was ideal. The staff was friendly and professional. Anthwin’s espresso martini is the best!
Activity Reviews
Particularly enjoyed speaking with guide located near Crown Jewels and getting full description of how specific items are still used during annual ceremonies and other special royal events.
There was a fairly large crowd present during our visit.
Disappointed that coach tour finished two miles from start point.
Very nice for a coach tour. Enjoyed visiting all three locations.
Museum displays were great and grounds were impressive. Missed seeing the altar room as it was closed on the day of our visit.
