Super location, super staff, super ideal! The staff at this hotel was like having a local friend that helps you out when you are in town. Housekeeping: top notch - Breakfast staff: EXCELLENT cleanliness and food options. This staff provided us with the BEST start of the day, every day. - Front Desk: What can I say? Like your friend you've been waiting to talk to in Amsterdam.

Right next door to the major train station! Street traffic seemed to be in gridlock around the hotel in every direction, but having the train station with the EuroStar service next door was genius on our planner's part (Kate). Another hotel with EXCELLENT breakfast service, but having dinner at the hotel was an experience that took two hours! Seems that the kitchen was having a tough time keeping up with the orders from the dining room. Mentioned the delays to our server and he graciously took a couple drinks off our tab.

CENTRAL location in Oxford....clean, comfortable, safe hotel with an amazing breakfast all run by a professional and top-notch staff. Because the location is right in the middle of Oxford, many of the local food choices are geared towards the student population....lot's of fast food joints and restaurants that seem to target the students. Wish we could have tried the hotel's restaurant for dinner, but it didn't open until 5:30pm and our ride to London departed at 6pm. Based on the breakfasts we had at the hotel, the dinner menu would have been the best around.

The absolute BEST was to start your Amsterdam vacation. Cruise the canals and see the city in the comfort of a well guided captain. Couple of drinks, great weather, and a good tour guide made this a memorable part of our visit to Amsterdam and was really the way to kick off your holiday in the city.

Excellent adventure, but very short ride. Beautiful scenery and super punting tour guide. 30 minute ride was way too short, but the punting circuit is limited to a ride around the man-made island. Still had a nice relaxing ride on another beautiful day. Passed alongside a botanical garden during the punting tour ride and went there immediately following the punting excursion. Turned out to be a great diversion and wonderful way to stroll along the gardens for another hour. Highly recommended.

Nice 2 hour walking tour, but the tour facility was unprepared when we showed up for our scheduled tour. Had a nice, former student, walk us around for a couple hours, but honestly we could have seen so much more....we only ventured out 5 or 6 blocks from the tour facility and spent way too much time reliving the former students, hangouts rather that the immense history of Oxford. Still an enjoyable walk on an enjoyable day.

The HIGHLIGHT of our 2 weeks in Europe! Our private tour guide Adge, and his trusty driver Leroy made for a most memorable day in Bath and the Cotswolds. Our guide Adge was a retired police officer from Bath and new every inch and crevice of the city and beyond. Our driver Leroy was the utmost professional driver and navigated our day through tight twists and turns where we always felt safe and secure. We got 16 hours of the best tour possible in 8 hours that day. Adge was humorous, spontaneous, knowledgeable, warm, welcoming, and EVERYTHING you could of asked for in a private tour guide. BEST day of our trip!

AMAZING museum and knowledgeable tour guide. Only with we weren't worn out and that the tour could be an hour or two longer. Pedro was an experienced expert and a very personable, private tour guide and showed us many of the items in a quick tour of maybe 20% of this HUGE museum.

Delianne was a fun and quirky tour guide for a walking tour of more than two hours! She had great stories and took us to the great spots to watch the parade and to take pictures along the way. Delianne also went out of her way to teach us how the Underground metro system worked and then we were on our way using the system the rest of the trip....fun! Delianne was punctual, knowledgeable, cute, and in great shape for what was probably 10,000 steps (but I didn't monitor on my app).

Breathtaking! The Crown Jewels (minus the jewels), the history, the buildings, the Beefeaters, the ravens! All made for an enjoyable day at this memorable location. Our tour planner Kate made sure that we were there at the 10am opening and that was genius! We had hardly any lines and got in the queue of 5 or 10 people to visit the Crown Jewels exhibit. The early start made for a leisurely stroll through all the buildings at the Tower of London. As we were wrapping up tour, we noticed at least 500 people in line to see the Crown Jewels! It must have been pandemonium at that time to get a glimpse of the displays in the Tower of London. Thank you Kate!

Prepare to "herd" aboard a dinner cruise in which you don't get to choose what you want for dinner. The minions (us and forty or so other guests) get to sit right in the middle (where usual dinner cruises have a dance floor and everyone gets a table close to a window). We were given "menus" which had several choices, but when I asked about them, was told that the menu is to show you what drinks you can order. Everybody gets a chicken dish....everybody. The staff was as if they were in forced labor, no smiles and no frowns. Entertainment was a Karaoke singer. Having done dinner cruises in other cities in other countries, this was unexpected.....hope it didn't cost too much?

Great driver who knew the city inside and out. He found ways to make it through the city that we could never replicate again. Super conversation from a local character that we well versed in the history of the city.

Charming Old Inn, great location with easy walks to trails, shops, bus stop. Wonderful breakfast with amazing croissants! It’s an old building beautifully renovated but narrow hallways and stairwells, no elevator. Must be able to carry own luggage to and from room. Lovely view of river from our room. Nice size showers with rain shower head. Our 3rd floor room was lovely but low hanging rafters caused a few head bumps. The Bourton on the Water miniature village next door was impressive and so fun to see.

Loved Windsor Castle!

Such a fine hotel!! Best breakfasts (you choose from a menu the night before - get the Eggs Benedict), AND you can book their afternoon tea. Not to be missed. The hosts, Jonathan and Caroline, were so accommodating and helped us know where to hike, too.

We got so pleasantly full at this tea that we didn’t need supper that evening. Wow! Some soup, lovely sandwiches, excellent scones (with cream and jam), and desserts to die for. A large selection of teas to begin with, plus prosecco!! We had ours in the lounge. You will be waddling out. SO worth doing!!

It’s a glorious area to explore by mini-coach. (Don’t try and drive it yourself!) You can see why the poets were so inspired.

Chris figured out EXACTLY what we needed to make it an excellent day! He’s a Best of Britain guide/driver, and he asked what we were hoping for as we went along. My husband got to walk along part of the wall! And we saw archaeologists still digging for Roman artifacts. Vendolanda is a site with a great museum, too.

Barry knew his details on the old TV series AND the newer one! An excellent driver and guide through Mountain Goat Tours, and he knew a lot about James Herriott (Alf White).

the location was good for us to be on the South side of the Thames, close to London Eye, bars, restaurants , St Paul’s Cathedral, and easy to get a cab or UBER. The Pub was fun, excellent food and good beer! Had a nice included breakfast every day, which started our day off perfectly.

the trip was great, unfortunately, there was a car accident on the way out so it added 2 hours to an already long day.. Windsor Palace was so cool to tour getting to see where the State Dinners are held.

Hidden gem in a busy street, very quite.

The hotel has the best location you can ask for. It's right cross the street from the train station if you come out the "Market Street" exit, no need to call a cab, just less than 10 min walk. The view from the hotel room is amazing as the Calton Hill and iconic Edinburgh clock tower are right in front of you. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. Let alone the great breakfast and restaurant staff. Scottish people are so nice!

The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the York Minister. Front desk staff is cordial and helpful. However, the room is tiny and the "free breakfast" is not full breakfast, which was a surprise to me. No protein included in the breakfast but you can pay to order full breakfast.

Kate made such a wonderful arrangement on our last night in London. The cruise lasted about 3 hrs with dinner and entertainment. We saw a few London landmarks on the boat which we did not get to visit on land. The weather on our cruise day was fantastic where we witnessed the beautiful sunset. We got to see the London Eye, the Tower Bridge and skyscrapers up close! It added an exclamation mark to our London/Edenborough Journey!

First of all, big shout out to our driver and tour guide - Refal who showed up in a Scottish kilt and a nice basket of snacks and beverages!! We already knew it's going to be a fun day when we saw him. Refal was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and happily took a lot of pics for us! Not only he took us to all the castles included in the tour but also took us to a couple of charming small towns along the road, such as Dean's village right outside the city of Edenborough. Refal patiently gave us the history of each castle and background of the show The Outlander which we have not seen before the trip. Now I want to see it!!

One of the most memorable trips for our entire journey. The small group tour was well run and the route was well designed. The bus was very comfortable. Time allocated to each stop was perfect. We were not rushed nor bored. The scenic loop was so beautiful, just like the movies. Whitby is such a charming town! Highly recommend it as a side tour while visiting York.

What a wonderful day trip to Cambridge! We accomplished everything we planned to see in Cambridge. The Cambridge Punting is so fun and relaxing in a sunny day, to see all the beautiful and historical college sites along the river. Our driver went above and beyond to take us to visit the Pink Floyd Pub, tried to let us get inside the college site to see the Mathematical Bridge, and recommended the famous restaurant The Eagle where Francis Crick and James Watson first celebrated the discovery of the DNA!!

Wonderful trip to Cotswolds and Oxford. Our driver, Chris, was very accommodating to our schedule. We told Chris we need to meet a friend in Oxford for lunch. Chris was happy to make the arrangement for us by adjusting the routes. Really appreciated his help. I can't thank him enough for giving us recommendations on our self-guided tours to visit some London points of interest. He recommended a best spot to view the Changing Guards and tips to avoid the crowds. So glad to have him as our driver.

Must go tour. The audio guide is very helpful and it's free!

This is a clean and comfortable hotel, but the room was the smallest I've ever been in. It had everything we needed; it was just small. The bed was comfortable, as was the room. The view was OK. The location was great in that it was close to the city Metro and suburb trains, a few blocks from many great restaurants and bakeries and shops and fairly close to the Arc. The breakfast was the same every day, so that got to be a bit stale at the end of our stay. The staff are so friendly and will help with anything you ask. The elevator is a bit small, but the way it empties to the dark, circular staircase was a bit treacherous for my eyes. A better understanding of the train system would have helped us save some money and some lost time as we went in the wrong direction a couple of times. During our final walk-through conversation, it was a good thing we took notes as those notes were very helpful in finding meeting points of tours. Also, if you want to go to the top of the Arc, understand that the only safe way to get there is via a tunnel from the Champs-eLysees side.

This is a quaint hotel in a great part of London that is near the Metro and yet has a neighborhood feel. Close to many diverse restaurants. I felt safe and the rooms are clean. The only drawback is that there is the same (but well apportioned) breakfast served every day.

The meeting location was a bit obscure, but we did scope it out the day before so we knew where we had to go and how long it took to get there. It was a bit confusing at registration because there was more than 1 tour meeting there. But we did get on the correct bus. The tour itself was great. It was a long day, but interesting and there was enough time at each stop to take it all in. The lunch at the little restaurant was really good!

There were no directions on the tour ticket on how to get to the Arc. We walked to the circle around the Arc. We walked around the circle. We did not see any way to cross the street to get to the Arc itself. We ended up crossing the street in front of traffic because we saw others doing it. Even on the way out we did the same thing, as others were doing; but knowing it couldn't be right as it was dangerous! (Later on we found there is a tunnel on the Champs Elysees side that goes to the entrance.) The Arc itself was easy to get into, the ticket agents were helpful and the views were spectacular.

Eden was a great guide. She had extensive knowledge of the area, gave us what we wanted and not any more than what we asked for (not information overload). She spoke great English; very understandable. She accommodated us to our needs.

The driver was prompt, courteous, patient and helpful. The car was very nice too.

This was to the train station. The driver was prompt and helpful, however, his English was not the best and when we were dropped off we had no idea where to go at the station. He pointed to the right direction which was helpful.

Generally, the trip felt rushed. The guide was great in setting expectations and was friendly and funny, but the first stop was the castle. We had enough time to get to the castle, see it (not the doll house), saw the start of the changing of the guard, saw the chapel during it, went to the gate for the end of the change, so that we could leave as soon as the changing was over. When we were allowed out, we RAN to the bathroom, got a bite to eat on the bus and were still late to the bus (by 5 minutes). Then we went to Stonehenge. Again, we took the shuttle out to the stones, walked around the circle, had no time to ponder or take it all in, got back on the shuttle and on to the bus. At Bath we only had time to see the bath house. Even then we felt rushed through because we had to get back on the bus. There was no time to take in the town, get anything to eat or drink. While the sights were great, I think I would have enjoyed just two of them for longer periods of time, or extend the tour time by 1 hour to enjoy the sights more.

The Abbey was cool but I felt very rushed. Didn't even know we should get headphones until we were in for a bit. Then we got them and didn't know how to use them. After the main part of the church there are other parts that if I weren't curious we would have missed totally. They could use more people guiding tourists.

This tour was long, but totally doable. There were enough breaks and time to chill. The sights were very interesting and the guide was understandable.

The Harcourt Arms is an absolute standout in the English countryside. Nestled in the quiet village of Stanton Harcourt, it has that perfect mix of rustic charm and upscale comfort.

We had a wonderful stay at The Kennard during our visit to Bath. This beautiful Georgian guesthouse perfectly blends historic charm with modern comfort. The location is ideal—just a short walk to all the main attractions, yet tucked away on a quiet street, making it peaceful at night.

We had a fantastic stay at a Leonardo Royal Hotel London City during our trip to London. The location couldn’t have been better. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a great bed and everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

What could have been just another historical walking tour turned into something engaging, fun, and memorable. Adge is incredibly knowledgeable, but presents everything in such an easygoing and entertaining way. His storytelling brought Bath’s history to life, and he shared so many interesting details you wouldn’t get just walking around on your own.

We had the best time with Nile. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about SoHo.

We could only see the carriage house but the walk around the palace was beautiful.

Dave gave a wonderful and informative tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. We enjoyed every minute.

This hotel was very clean, very cute, staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars vs 5 is our room did not have a shower, just a tub, my husband is 6'4", so that was not a good situation for him, our sons travelled with us, there was a shower in their room, thank goodness we had two rooms! Also, for us, we like to have options for snacks and drinks to buy in our hotel, they did provide pitchers of water, but with two boys, they eat a lot, to buy snacks it was a good 10 minute or so walk one way. This hotel only had a breakfast option, no snacks, no lunch or dinner option. But a very cute old English style hotel, I would highly recommend it, just be prepared to buy some drinks and snacks if you need them!! And if you are really tall, ask for a room with a shower!

This was a great day, our tour guide Charles drove us to all locations, in a very comfortable vehicle, he was so knowledgeable and friendly, we felt like we spent the day with our friend.

Best Dinner Cruise Experience! Lots of food, lots of drinks, very pretty down the river!!

This was a nice spacious hotel - getting out of the city the kids were able to run around a bit. Restaurants onsite for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We had a great time once we got on the bus. We had left our flat in Elephant & Castle at 7:30 that morning but missed our tube exit and had to backtrack via Black cab, which made us late. We contacted the number on our ticket, who expressed concern that the bus might not wait for us. Our tickets said to be there at 8:15 with an 8:30 departure, but, despite our best efforts, we arrived at 8:38. The man at the counter (also the person I talked with on the phone) was super rude and chastising about our tardiness. We felt horrible, but he made us feel 100 times worse. Liam, our driver, and the other passengers were very understanding. After that, Liam had a wonderful day planned for us where we had time to go about the towns and see historical sites as well as shop and eat. It was a great introduction to the area, and we can't wait to go back.

You could spend several days here, but we knew to go straight to the Crown Jewels as that tends to get the busiest the quickest. After that the Beefeater tour is a great way to get some history highlights and learn about the grounds and the people who protect them. The café has wonderfully fresh and delicious food and is a great place to break up the day of looking at all of the buildings and exhibits.

Perfect first stop for our first day in London after an overnight flight. It allowed us to get a lay of the land from the backseat of a comfortable cab with a very knowledgeable driver, John. He was prompt in our pickup (even early) and did the best he could, even though it was raining. We got out of the vehicle to look and touch the old Roman wall which was a neat moment.

John made the tour. It was incredible how much he fit into the time slot. His knowledge is unsurpassed, and he is a delightful talker with many interesting and humorous stories to add color to the tour.

The size of the Beefeater tour was very large and difficult to hear the stories. We ended up going off on our own, and missing out on some of the colorful tales of the Beefeater.

Delianne was a delight with so many anecdotes she has gleaned from her full life. She is bubbly and a joy to be around.

Could have missed this. I would have preferred an informative river cruise that told us what we were seeing with some anecdotes. This was a very nice dinner cruise with music. Something you would do for an anniversary or birthday.
