I will for sure use Kim Kim again, they were great!! Salome was so helpful and so patient with me. We had a few hiccups, nothing Kim Kim did wrong and she was super helpful and made sure everything still worked out as planned!!! All the tour companies they picked for us were great. The drivers always on time and communicated very well with us. The Privilege dinner cruise in Paris was the best dinner cruise I have ever experienced. We had a great family trip!! High Point, Paris Trip, A la Francasise Paris, London Country Tours and Evan Evan's were great, all of them were, I am sure I am forgetting some of the companies Kim Kim used, but I could not be happier with all the tour companies they picked for us.

This hotel was very clean, very cute, staff was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars vs 5 is our room did not have a shower, just a tub, my husband is 6'4", so that was not a good situation for him, our sons travelled with us, there was a shower in their room, thank goodness we had two rooms! Also, for us, we like to have options for snacks and drinks to buy in our hotel, they did provide pitchers of water, but with two boys, they eat a lot, to buy snacks it was a good 10 minute or so walk one way. This hotel only had a breakfast option, no snacks, no lunch or dinner option. But a very cute old English style hotel, I would highly recommend it, just be prepared to buy some drinks and snacks if you need them!! And if you are really tall, ask for a room with a shower!

My family and I had an amazing trip to England! It was our first time visiting and were not familiar with pretty much anything. Kateryna set us up with several private tours including a drive to Stonehenge and the Jurassic Coast. We took a day trip to Paris on the Eurostar, saw plenty of the tourist sites in London, and got to rides horses in Hyde Park. Everything was planned perfectly and Kateryna was there to answer any questions, even on the day of arrival.

What . . . is your quest?

To seek a memorable and joyous travel adventure? With your teenager in tow no less? Impossible you say. Pish posh! I just returned from a spring break trip to England with my teenage daughter, and we are still positively beaming. In fact, we spent two hours this past weekend warmly recounting our adventures from each day of the trip over a shared pot of tea, a new family tradition.

The crucial first step in our successful quest was reaching out to kimkim to help us plan the trip. The website paired me with one of their kind and knowledgable experts on England vacations (hat tip to Liam!). I messaged Liam a list of sites and priorities which my daughter and I put together, with interests ranging from King Arthur to Shakespeare, Jane Austen, and even Jack the Ripper. Within a handful of messages Liam had worked out a custom itinerary for us, ticking all the boxes for the sites we wanted to see, including free time for our own exploring, and easy-to-get-to hotels. The kimkim team booked the reservations for us, and compiled everything into a roadbook, also available on the kimkim app (thumbs up for the app!).

The second step for our successful quest was also the kimkim team. On the day we arrived, our flight was delayed and London traffic was snarled. We could not make it to our first high-priority reservation: Westminster Abbey. The kimkim team was there to help. A quick message on the app and a follow-up phone call allowed us to continue on with our schedule to the Tower of London, then a night-time ghost tour and boat ride on the Thames. The kimkim team were pleasant and responsive, gaining us admission to the Abbey the next morning at no additional cost in either money or, more importantly, stress.

We very much liked "seeing the sights" in the small group tours. The guides were all knowledgable and friendly, with good senses of humor. With small group tours we were also able to navigate around the big crowds and avoid the big busses on day-trips to Stonehenge and the Cotswolds, as well as to the White Cliffs of Dover and Canterbury.

We particularly enjoyed three individual tours. Robert Jones, an experienced photographer, led us on an afternoon photography tour of central London and the Thames. Robert helped us "see" the city through a local's eyes, but also to look for moments and views reflected in the glass of the many modern buildings. We have a stack of amazing photos from this tour. Ruth Sillers, a stage and voice actress, took us on a lovely afternoon walk through the many Jane Austen sites in Bath, including where Jane lived and the locations depicted in her two novels set in Bath. Daniel Hancock, a worldly traveler himself with many fascinating stories, led us on an afternoon trip through the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey and on a hike to the top of the Glastonbury Tor. We had a brilliant, clear day, and could see all the way to Bristol and the sea.

The third step for our successful quest was the blocks of free time to explore on our own. I especially enjoyed watching my daughter learn to "Mind the Gap" and navigate the Tube system, and riding together across London on the double-decker busses. We spent a half-day each at the British Museum and the National Gallery. In Bath, we savored walks through the town, dining on the bridge, and especially a morning tour of the house museum at No. 1 Royal Crescent, fully restored to the Georgian time period.

The final high point of our adventure was tea, especially High Tea the Savoy Hotel. I have never before seen my daughter hold a smile for two straight hours: three servings of tea, two servings of finger sandwiches, followed by scones, and dessert. We were later introduced to Cream Tea (tea with scones, clotted cream, and jam, and a regional disagreement on the order for applying clotted cream and jam to the scone, as we found out from one of our small group guides). Contentious opinions over tea? That's news to my American ears. Heh-heh-heh. Despite my weakness for bad jokes (very British!), whenever we've shared tea since our return, the same wondrous smile returns to my daughter as we fondly remember our adventures in England.

Cotswolds Tour (From London)

We had a great time once we got on the bus. We had left our flat in Elephant & Castle at 7:30 that morning but missed our tube exit and had to backtrack via Black cab, which made us late. We contacted the number on our ticket, who expressed concern that the bus might not wait for us. Our tickets said to be there at 8:15 with an 8:30 departure, but, despite our best efforts, we arrived at 8:38. The man at the counter (also the person I talked with on the phone) was super rude and chastising about our tardiness. We felt horrible, but he made us feel 100 times worse. Liam, our driver, and the other passengers were very understanding. After that, Liam had a wonderful day planned for us where we had time to go about the towns and see historical sites as well as shop and eat. It was a great introduction to the area, and we can't wait to go back.

Tower of London Beefeater Welcome & Crown Jewels

You could spend several days here, but we knew to go straight to the Crown Jewels as that tends to get the busiest the quickest. After that the Beefeater tour is a great way to get some history highlights and learn about the grounds and the people who protect them. The café has wonderfully fresh and delicious food and is a great place to break up the day of looking at all of the buildings and exhibits.

Perfect first stop for our first day in London after an overnight flight. It allowed us to get a lay of the land from the backseat of a comfortable cab with a very knowledgeable driver, John. He was prompt in our pickup (even early) and did the best he could, even though it was raining. We got out of the vehicle to look and touch the old Roman wall which was a neat moment.

The "London in a Private Black Cab" was amazing especially with John's stories and knowledge, and a bit of gossip. Delianne was such a delight as host of our private "Royal London Tour!" She is a charming hostess with wonderful inside scoops she has gained from a lively life with friends "in the know." She is the type of person you would want to have for weekly dinners to add effervescence to your life.

Kate planned a perfect week for us with smatterings of many of London's offerings tailored to what we wanted without even knowing ourselves. She was responsive when asked questions, and on top of everything. We had very little time (end of the year and Christmas holidays taking up so much of our time), so it was such a blessing to have Kate to plan the trip so beautifully. Thank you.

Could have missed this. I would have preferred an informative river cruise that told us what we were seeing with some anecdotes. This was a very nice dinner cruise with music. Something you would do for an anniversary or birthday.

My friend and I had the MOST AMAZING London/Paris adventure that was organized by Kate on the kimkim platform. We went in September 2025 and still talk about this trip daily. We are planning our 2026 adventure with her now!

My husband and I had the trip of a lifetime to England in September. Although I knew all the places I wanted to visit, Aleksandra put the pieces of the puzzle together in just the right way. She was there for big tweaks before we left, as well as little tweaks and hiccups during the trip. I could not have asked for a better travel agent. My least favorite part of the trip was with one of our guides, Olga. Her time management ended with us rushing through an important part (Windsor Castle) although she had insisted that we stand in line to see Queen Mary's dollhouse prior. There was also some historically incorrect information given. But that was a very small part of an overall miraculous trip! Highly recommend Aleksandra and Kim Kim!

Absolutely exceptional experience that truly surpassed anything I had ever hoped and dreamed of. It was such an out of this world experience and we have Aleks to thank so very much for so much of that! Everything was absolutely seamless. The trip itself that she built was something I never could have dreamt up, all of the booking she did made our travels flawless and stress free and having her with us along the way to sort out kinks was beyond measure of amazing! We were able to just live evert moment without worry!
From sleeping in a Lego house in Legoland to sleeping in a sleep cabin on a train to a gondola and hikes in the Highlands to driving the winding roads by stunning Lochs and Highlands to the quiet peace of a beautiful apartment overlooking a stunning Harbour she built us a family holiday beyond expectation. She had family front of mind for us as we traveled the UK. Highly recommend Kimkim for travel dreams to become reality! Can't wait for the next one!

The smaller tours were better than the large bus tour. Luke, our food guy tour was fantastic as well as our pub tour guide. We enjoyed the trip to Stonehenge with the smaller tour company. We enjoy learning about the history of the countries we visit and find that with larger tours you don’t get all the information you desire. Our trip to England was incredible! Kate truly listened to our interests and crafted the perfect itinerary—blending city highlights, countryside charm, and small-town experiences. In just one week, we visited palaces, farmhouses, and ancient Roman baths, and got a real feel for England’s rich history and culture. All of the travel arrangements were seamless—drivers were punctual and friendly, and our tours were fantastic. The Black Cab tour with Chris was fun and informative, and the walking tour of Bath with Ulrich brought the city’s history and architecture to life. Every hotel was spot on for our group of three. Our favorite was the Manor House in Castle Combe—beautiful, comfortable, and topped off with a lovely afternoon tea. Kate was thoughtful, organized, and so easy to work with. I highly recommend her to anyone planning a trip to England—she made our vacation unforgettable!

We had a very exciting and informative trip. All of the guides were professional, personable and exhibited enthusisam when sharing details and history of the places we visited. My only disappointment was with the bus trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. We arrived before the castle was open to visitors and were among the first people to enter. There was not sufficient time to enjoy the tour of the castle. I felt as though I was racing through the various rooms in order to make it back to the bus for the next segment of our trip. I would suugest taking a train to Windsor in order to have more time and not try to cram that much into the day.

Every day was absolutely perfect for us. Hotel locations were excellent, recommendations by Jane/KimKim were spot on. The one and only glitch was when we arrived at the airport, the driver wasn’t there. We phoned and they had planned for the next day. However they immediately came to retrieve us, so no major impact. Fortunately the weather was also perfect with the very first rain drops en route to the airport to leave. Thank you Jane, and I will definitely be using KimKim again in the future!

Kateryna was a pro. All of her arrangements went perfectly. A big favorite was the Manor House in the Cotswolds. The tour guides in London and Edinburgh were A+. Every detail was carefully planned, and we had smooth transitions for 4 separate destinations. We will definitely use KimKim in the future. It provides the ability to travel without being a part of a big group tour, and pick the type of experiences we enjoy.

We chose Kim Kim because the initial questionnaire was an excellent way to describe our wants. Kateryna then took that information to present a very good initial plan. She worked with us to modify the plan to our final liking. She was top notch all the way, i cannot applaud her enough.

When we arrived at LHR our driver was not there to pick us up. Thinking “oh no”, i began to try to and find out what to do next when i received a text that a replacement driver was on his. What started out as a negative turned into a positive because your team was on top of the situation. Bravo!

I am going to send Kate more info about specific experiences, but it is worth noting that our black cab guides Jack and John were wonderful as was Delianne for our walking tour. Also, the Restaurant 1890 dinner was an unforgettable experience. Wimbledon was an extraordinary tour and experience! And, we really enjoyed the (long) day in Cotswold.

We didn’t get much out of the Tower of London tour - the line to see the Crown Jewels was so long it was essentially prohibitive for me because of my walking/standing limitations. If i had it to do again, i would skip the Stonehenge/Windsor Castle/Bath tour. Stonehenge wasn’t worth the trip in a crowded bus. We had way too little time at Windsor Castle. And while Bath was a nice city, again I’m not sure worth the trip. Having it to do over i would skip Stonehenge (pictures and write ups cover it nicely) and Bath and i would take a train to Windsor Castle and spend much more time there. I have seen Phantom twice in NYC and once in Toronto and. while enjoyable, i felt the London production was somewhat scaled back from those shows.

Experience in London
- Greg, our tour guide for the private black cab tour was probably the best guide we had on the trip. He looked at our itinerary and customized the experience so that we saw other sights that we would not have otherwise seen. He gave us the lay of the land so that we could easily navigate the city. He also provide excellent recommendations for dinner and lunch options while we were there. He even kept in contact during our trip and went above and beyond by helping secure reservations at Blacklock in Soho (steak house) after we were unable to make them ourselves (The best dinner we had on our trip)

We also had an amazing lunch at Dishroom (Indian) based on his recommendation.

The rest of the tours out of London were great. Greg was just the best of the bunch.

The Accommodations in London were good. The hotel had a nice lounge area where we were able to meet at the end of the day for a cocktail and conversation. Some of the uber drivers did complain about pick up and drop off because of the busy street out front. Overall it was a positive experience and I would recommend the hotel in the future.

Experience in Bath
The activities in Bath were enjoyable. The Abby tour that took us to the top of the bell tower was an unexpected surprise.

We received a recommendation on our train ride to have high tea at the Royal Crescent. This was a highlight of our time in Bath. Our waiter was great an walked us through the experience. He also secured dinner reservations for us that evening.

I would not recommend our hotel in Bath, The Henrietta House. The two single rooms were in the main building and were nice, but the two couples were put in an axillary building down the street that was dirty, smelled, and had no air conditioning. It was disappointing.

Experience in Oxford
The hotel in Oxford, The Randolph Hotel by Graduate by Hilton, was AMAZING! The room was spacious and well appointed. The staff was very curious and very helpful. The concierge gave us the lay of the land, made recommendations for spots to check out and secured reservations for dinner on our behalf. This was very helpful because it was an open day for Oxford University which made it very busy in town with all the parents and prospective students visiting.

I was so impressed with the experience at the Randolph Hotel that I changed my reservations for an up coming trip to Knoxville to the Graduate property there.

The visit to Blenheim Palace was nice, but our party agreed that we would have rather had our walking tour of Oxford first and then spend the rest of the time exploring the college and city. After our walking tour was over, most of the places of interest that were pointed out during the tour were closed and we did not have the time the next day to check them out be fore we had to depart for the airport.

Overall the trip was an excellent experience. We had wonderful guides and made memories that will last a lifetime.

We loved our experience at this hotel. It was well decorated and the staff was great! I highly recommend this hotel. After my experience at this property, I changed a future reservation to a Graduate property in the town I will be visiting.

The majority of our party was placed in an auxiliary building down the street from the main hotel. We were placed in basement rooms that were dank and smelled of sewage pipes. The carpet was worn out and torn. There was no air conditioning. If staying here, demand to be in the main building. It was much nicer.

The Academy London

Our group enjoyed our stay here. The staff was friendly and the rooms were nice. We took advantage of the common areas to relax and enjoy a cocktail after our tours were finished for the day. It was a little far out to walk to the main attractions (especially in the rain), but Ubers/Taxis were easy to get. The continental breakfast was also very good.

Iconic Oxford Private Walking Tour

This was another highlight for us. Our guide, Tom, was a recent graduate from Oxford - he taught us about the history of the school and also was able to give us a glimpse of modern student life. After the tour we felt like we had a good feel for the town and places to check out.

One Day Trip to Hampton Court, Canterbury and White Cliffs of Dover

Beautiful place to visit. It was under a bit of renovation while we were there, but the history behind the property was very interesting. We skipped the Canterbury and White Cliffs because by the time this tour rolled around we were exhausted from our other tours and wanted to spend more time in London visiting some of the sites and shops.

We had a wonderful experience working with our travel agent, Kate, to plan our recent trip to England. Everything was handled so thoughtfully from start to finish.

The accommodations were excellent—comfortable, well-located, and a perfect fit for our needs. We especially loved The Randolph Hotel in Oxford - the staff, accomodations, and location were phenomenal! Our itinerary was especially impressive, as our limited time was used so efficiently. We were able to see and do so much without ever feeling rushed, which made the trip both enjoyable and memorable.

We began the trip with a Private Black Cab tour with Greg, who tweaked our tour to focus on London sights that interested us most, and he even acted as our personal photographer at hidden photo spots! Our last tour was a Private Walking Tour throughout Oxford with Tom, who was incredibly knowledgeable about both Oxford history and the current student experience.

Transfers between cities and activities were smooth and reliable thanks to the very good car services that were arranged, as well as two train rides. This made getting around stress-free and allowed us to focus on enjoying ourselves.

One of the things we appreciated most was how accessible and responsive Kate was throughout the trip. Anytime we had a question or needed a little guidance, she was quick to respond and incredibly helpful. It gave us great peace of mind knowing we had that kind of support while traveling abroad.

Overall, the planning and service exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely recommend Kate to anyone looking for a well-organized, enjoyable, and worry-free travel experience.

We truly enjoyed our time in England. Thank you for being so responsive while we were in the country. As my brother-in-law mentioned, I would not suggest Henrietta House (auxiliary site) for future guests. While the other hotel was nice, our favorite hotel during the trip was the Randolph.

Greg was simply the best tour guide. He was the gentleman who gave us our initial tour of London. If you can specifically request him for future bookings, I would highly suggest it. He was incredibly knowledgeable and great fun. He customized the tour for us based on our existing itinerary, and we made unique stops to make sure we saw a little bit of everything. His food recommendations were top-tier as well.

Cash and Eddie were also fantastic. Cash drove us to Durdle Door, and Eddie to Hampton Court.

Looking back, I wish we had had more time to spend in Oxford. It is such a beautiful town filled with so much history. Alas, there was only so much to do with so little time. We will just have to come back again soon. :)
