Born and raised in the UK, I’ve always had a love affair with the great outdoors. It’s no wonder I ended up in travel!
Growing up, family holidays meant exploring the UK with my parents and brother, often on a mission to track down my dad’s lost racing pigeons (yes, really!). Those little adventures sparked my curiosity for the country's remote corners, and that wanderlust has never left me.
These days, my heart is torn between the rugged beauty of the Peak District, the dramatic landscapes of Scotland, and the breathtaking mountains of Wales – where I’ve ticked off all the Welsh 3000-footers. In winter, I call the French Alps home, chasing the powder on the Paradiski slopes. The rest of the year, I split my time between my homes in France and the UK, with a special love for the Vanoise National Park, where I spend the summers exploring on an electric mountain bike.
When I’m not skiing down the Alps, you’ll find me hiking through the Peak District or pedaling through the Vanoise, always on the hunt for my next adventure.

"With an in-depth knowledge of the UK, I specialize in not only single destination but multi-destination, including England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
My favourite TV program is ‘All Creatures Great & Small’, filmed in and around Yorkshire.
As I have been traveling to France for many years, I have a passion for researching the 2nd World War, ski locations, and summer activities. My love of the French mountains and culture was the main reason that I moved there in 2021, but still visit the UK often.

How did you get involved in travel?
"My Grandad was a coach driver and he traveled all over the World. On returning from his ‘trips’, he would always buy me a doll, in native costume, from the countries he had visited. I was in awe of his knowledge of how to find locations without a map. His passion and experiences inspired me to become a travel agent, as I love to find new places to explore."

"I once traveled on a guided group tour on a Greek Caique Cruise boat, where we went island hopping. It was a rustic experience, and I met many people that had traveled. We slept above deck and looked at the stars whilst chatting about our travel experiences, swam in the sea and I saw a Manta Ray and giant starfish. We visited several destinations that were off the beaten track, met local people, and supported their economy directly, and I just took it all in."

This is fantastic hotel. It blends the best of the old world charm with New world amenities and modern features. Excellent new large elevators. Great view from the higher floors. Clean and comfortable rooms that felt newly remodeled. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent Bar and restaurant with a great complimentary breakfast.

Wonderful staff in a great location. Rooms are very inconsistent and some are really rundown.
The location is very nice but the hotel rooms need to be completely redone. There is no AC and our room was damp and very musty. There are No lifts, porters and it’s a 3 story hotel with no handicap accessibility.

Scotsman is in a perfect location to the Royal Mile and the train station. The stay was fantastic and very helpful. They provided great recommendations and service. The breakfast was good and the room was very clean and comfortable. Don’t bring oversized bags the lifts are typical small European lifts.

A Fully Bespoke Tour Day with a Private Driver Guide

Glasgow is a wonderful city with a tremendous amount to see. Our driver Robert changed our tour to a full day in Glasgow and we were happy he did. We saw Glasgow Cathedral, the burial grounds and he took us all around town. We ended the day at the Kelvingrove Museum. You could kill 4 hours there easy.

Isle of Skye was amazing. Donnan Castle is a Must see Castle. The scenery and castle are fabulous. I would highly recommend a private tour with a small group in a Sprinter Van. This is a trip that is far better with the visibility you get in a smaller van without worrying about driving

Beautiful views. Urquhart Castle is not a must see. Loch Ness is a nice Lake but also not a must see in my opinion. Spend the day in Stirling or St Andrews. Watch Rick Steve’s episode and skip this if you’re strapped for time.

The hotels that were set up for our trip (group of 25) were great. Staff very friendly and helpful and accommodations were terrific. Our trip was mostly self-guided, but Jane was extremely helpful in setting up the vans we rented as well as the Irish dancing show in Galway, the Black Taxi tour, the tour of Bushmills, and the visit to the Giants' Causeway. It was also nice in knowing that had there been any issues that Jane and her team were just a phone call away. It was a great trip, and everyone one on it had a wonderful time. Already talking about doing it again.

Derek, Keith, and Robert were extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. They made stops, and ad-libbed for us because they had a feel for what we would appreciate seeing. We had quite a few laughs with them. I thought the hotels were all very nice. We were able to check in early, every staff member that we encountered was really nice, the breakfasts were all very good and the rooms, with the exception of the Glen Morriston, were nice. The Glen Morriston doesn't have a lift. I had to drag our heavy suitcases up 40 stairs which wasn't much of an issue for me, but if you have older clients, it would be very difficult. The hotel room was small but I suspect that is true with most of the hotels. The location of our hotels were very convenient. Every time we called Jane for advice or to make a change, she was very accessible and very helpful.
I would absolutely, highly recommend the Kim Kim agency to any of my friends or relatives. (I already have!) We hope to plan a trip to Ireland next year and you will be hearing from us. Well, I have to say your team at KimKim is by far the absolute best!!!!You were there for us 24/7 . I only needed you a couple of times, but you were only a call away and never left me waiting. Thank you from all of us for that. Our seats at the tattoo were awesome, as were the dinner show tickets at the Merry Ploughboy. Our tour guide, Robert , on the walking tour of Edinburgh Was informative and entertaining. Our stay at The Fraser House in Inverness was by far the favorite of everyone in my group. The rooms all faced the river, so we all had a view, at the cost of our hostess, Leah giving up her own room. She was absolutely amazing, and went far above her duties by even giving some of us a ride to the train station in lieu of ordering another taxi. She prepared a delicious breakfast each morning, even on a day we had to leave super early. So very friendly and accommodating. we would recommend her Fraser House 200%.
On the downside, the Jacobite train ride was not worth the trip. It took too long to get there for a 2 hour ride in a train that was way too hot( unseasonably arm weather) no air conditioning and no open windows. The attendants went up and down the isles wit a hand held fan with water spray. But we still had fun. We also did not get to do the afternoon tea at Edinburgh castle. They claim they sent an email, however, I did not receive it. It wouldn't have mattered, we were still in flight, and trying to get to the hotel. They said last seating was 12noon due to the tattoo, we were there about 12:05, but they wouldn't seat us. They said she would check to see if anyone read the email, and if not they, would issue a refund. I would appreciate if you would follow up on that, please.

AMAZING!!!!!!!! Location was perfect. Leah, the owner was extraordinary. She accommodated our schedule, even though it was earlier than her normal hours, she helped us with reservations, recommended laces to eat and see, and even used her own vehicle to get some of us to the train station. We were impressed with this hotel. Was not what we expected as a haunted hotel, but, it had air conditioning, still gave a castle feel, and the food was delicious. Other than it's location to city center, we loved this hotel, and would have stayed the entire time.

Staff was very helpful, but the elevator was out of service when we checked in, but the staff carried our luggage up for us. Rooms were good, plenty of room, but the tub was very high to get into and out of (no separate shower) Maybe take age into consideration when assigning rooms. The elevator was working when we left. Breakfast was great, and they offered a buffet other than full Irish breakfast.

I've been to Blarney before, but the Rock of Cashel and Cork were new to me and I absolutely loved it. Lunch in Cork was coordinated perfectly which gave us ample time to return to the bus.

The Isle of Skye & Eilean Donan Castle

The Isle of Skye was beautiful, and we got to see the fairy pool, also stopped at Talisker distillery, where we had a drink and purchased some whiskey..we stopped at Dunvegan castle instead of Eileen Donan although I don't remember why. and I think another stop was changed, one of my passengers mentioned disappointment.

Communication during trip was spot-on: Kimkim let us know one or two times that they were there if we had any issues but did not over-communicate as some might do. In the end, did not require any assistance while traveling. Communication responsiveness during planning phase could be improved as client was required to reach out during several extended periods of “radio silence”.
Greater attention (QA/QC) required as critical review of final agenda and vouchers caught numerous errors/omissions (e.g. incorrect ferry tickets, missing vouchers, accommodations lacking confirmation numbers).
Would have appreciated advice or suggested booking of activity for a 4.5-hour visit to Aran Islands (Inis Mór). We identified gap and pre-booked in-demand tour prior to sell-out. Also added stop at Rock of Cashel that provided a nice visit and break in a 3 hour drive from Dublin to Cork.

I understand how important clear and timely communication is when preparing for a trip, and I appreciate you pointing out where it could have been stronger. Regarding the final itinerary and documentation—while I’m pleased that you gave everything a careful final check, I also understand how finding the error with the ferry ticket may have been unsettling and that you requested extra reassurance that all activities were paid for. I had offered a call before your departure to walk through the final plans together, which was declined, but that could have been a helpful opportunity to catch and clarify anything outstanding.
As for your time on Inis Mór and your self-directed visit to the Rock of Cashel—it's great to hear those turned out to be enjoyable experiences. Your initiative in identifying those opportunities speaks to your travel intuition, and I appreciate the feedback. Amazing Family Trip to Scotland! This is my second trip that was planned by the Kim Kim team and I was very happy with the itinerary and accommodations. The hotels were all centrally located and met our budget. The Three Mile Island tour was fantastic and we also loved the Isle of Skye tour.
