Adam did an amazing job helping us plan this epic 11-day Iceland trip for our family of five! He accommodated our suggestions and requests and added in other stops and excursions that we would never have known about otherwise, but thoroughly enjoyed. The google maps each day were perfectly planned out and we hit almost every one of them! Adam was very responsive when we had questions or comments, even in the middle of our trip. There were only two very slight drawbacks. One of the five hotels we stayed in (for four of the 10 nights) was a very basic guesthouse with tiny rooms that had condensation on the walls/ceiling and a lot of wear and tear. Definitely not the caliber of the other hotels. Also, we were only booked for one night instead of two at our last hotel in Reykjavik, however the team was able to very quickly book us at another hotel only a block away for the second night in deluxe rooms. Overall, we had a fantastic experience using kimkim and would use them again for another trip!

Beautiful hotel on a golf course overlooking mountains. Restaurant was excellent, especially the duck confit.
Basic guesthouse on a horse farm. Rooms were small and poorly ventilated (condensation on ceiling and walls). Some wear and tear on doors and locks. The common room in the main building was nice: game room, tv, free coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Good restaurant.
Excellent hotel with beautiful views. The best breakfast buffet out of all five of our hotels. Lots of room to hang up wet clothes. Great restaurant.

Activity Reviews
Very cool experience to do as soon as we got off the plane! Beautiful warm blue water in the middle of black lava fields. Bracelet system was great for the locker, food, drinks, etc.
This was a very cool experience to snorkel in a fissure between the tectonic plates. The guides were all great and they gave us hot chocolate and cookies afterwards.
This activity was highly rated by every member of our family! The super jeep took us over rough terrain and through rivers, beyond the tourist areas into places we would not otherwise have gone. Jon, our guide, told personal stories, taught us about the history of Iceland, and got to know everyone in our group and really made the experience very fun and memorable. Everyone's favorite part was when we hiked back through a canyon/gorge to a secret waterfall. We had to walk through the water and climb a little with the help of chains, which added to the adventure of it all.
Very cool activity! The ride up and back in the van was part of the adventure. Our trip was slightly limited because heavy rain had degraded some of the route so we had to stay in one area, but you can't control the weather!

Thank you for the positive review Eli, and I’m so glad that you had a fantastic time in Iceland! We apologize for the small inconveniences. I agree that Vatnsholt Hotel is a bit simpler, but unfortunately, when looking for accommodation for several nights in a row in one location during peak season, our options were very limited.
I hope you will return to Iceland again someday!
