This trip was amazing for the three couples that celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with us! Starting at Falling Leaves resort with Paula (just the best), that sent us off to beautiful tropical paradise of Mayan ruins with our wonderful guides Jacer at Caracol, Lewis at Xunatuich & Jorge at Tikal. They were all very well informed, fun & educational! On to cave tubing a very special treat! Victor was a great guide.
Then our last several days were spent on the island/Peninsula of Ambergris Caye in San Pedro at Ramons resort! What a perfect end to a perfect trip! White sand beaches, 80 degrees of warm balmy weather, snorkeling, eating great food....! What is not to love about this kind of treatment from a people who care about you & your vacation. I can only tell you how much Alex as our travel coordinator worked on this trip to make our dreams come true! He exceeded every expectation that we had, the trip for all of us will be forever in our memories & will be discussed, praised & all the "remember when's" with our special friends that celebrated this event with us! Go to Belize it was magical!!!
And if you need help Alex with KimKim are right there waiting for you to help with amazing guides, lodging, transportation.... They made the trip everything it was!!!!

A very quite, clean, comfortable retreat to jump off to see the Myan ruins! Paula is absolutely the best! All our guides mentioned in our review were great! Definitely a place to return to.

Authenticity & Character
If you leave early on your adventure it's is best to order breakfast at a certain time for the next day, everytime so the staff have time prepare & lunch if you need it.

Sits up on the hill next to another Myan ruin, how great is that!

Paula is amazing, that girl gets stuff done! But all the staff were absolutely the best, friendly, helpful & most of all happy you are at their hotel!

Perfect....! 80 degrees, warm balmy breeze, toes in the sand, perfect food, I could go on & on! But you get the picture so don't wait, go to Belize, it was wonderful!!!!

Authenticity & Character
The location of perfect, thatch roofs, Palm trees swaying in the balmy breeze... But for me it was the overall friendliness of the Belizean people that made the trip absolutely perfect! They are so glad you chose their county to vacation in, spend your time, money & make memories together with them. They are proud of their heritage, hard working, industrious & they want their country to be better for future generations. They are putting in protective laws to respect the environment & yet supply jobs for families. Tourism is their # 1 industry & the people are working hard to balance that. Go support them & you will fall in love with not only Belize but the people!
Location
Right on the beach, all adminities right there, easy to everything from one location. No muss, no fuss just a perfect trip!!!!
Staff
Every staff member we met was so kind, helpful, polite & wanted your stay to be amazing! You don't see that kind of desire much now days but you will in Belize!
Cleanliness & Comfort
Everything in, around & on the resort was immaculate & clean! It was wonderful!

Staying here is great as an on the way though option. The real life of Belize is outside of Belize City. So if you are passing thru for a night it works well. We did eat at the roof to of Tito's Vino I think it was called & had a wonderful evening sunset dinner that was delicious!!! Go there to eat, amazing!!!

It was great for one night thru the city before our next destination.

Clean, comfortable, quite. Not really a walking area to go do something so plan a cab.

Inside by the pool & hotel are was very nice, safe & clean. If ordering food it takes awhile & is just ok. Much better options away from the hotel are available.

The Myan ruins, culture & history is so interesting with good lessons in life & so absolutely incredible to see. Pictures do not do this justice you need to have eyes on top take this in!

Everything!!!! The food was amazing & delicious! I loved everything's we had!

I can not say enough positive things about out drivers Cameron or late night driver kept us safe & took us to a local pub for great food, Jacer our Caracol guide & resident know it all about every bird imaginable ( you enthusiasm is catching), Lewis our Xunituch guide ( he has been on that site since 8 yrs old) & knows just about everything there is to tell & Jorge out Tikal guide who can read ancient hydrographics, who can do that... And make a two he drive to Tikal interesting & fascinating! The amount of information is astounding! Thank you!!!! These are only a few of the great people that made our trip amazing! Thanks to Alex off course who put it together Lilia who was in step with us the entire way, Sophia as she learns the guide business, good luck with your restaurant too! All our drivers, transporters, luggage... so many details & all made easy, simple & not one glitch is a testimony on how these guys work hard to make your trip as perfect as possible. It is a concentrated effort that is for sure! Thanks to all for inviting us & caring for us!!!

Every person was in time, know exactly where, when & how to get us to our next destination! We had three couples & we all can't at different times, different areas, a logistical nightmare if you ask me! But it was perfect!!!!

Please don't miss this amazing site & if your can request Jorge as your guide & driver you scored big!!! He was the best & the information he carries around is like a digital download. You will be amazed at this site. One day is really not long enough so when we go back we will stay longer to get the full effect of this amazing place.

All I can say again is go! Don't wait book your trip & go! It is beautiful, exciting, romantic.... Whatever feeds your soul you will find it in Belize with the friendliest, happiest people in earth I believe. They welcome you with open arms & you leave as friends! All our " friends" that we have helped while we were in Belize have a standing offer at our home so we can return the favorite of their excellent care & hospitality. You cannot go wrong supporting these hard working people & you will learn & enjoy the culture so much more thourghly. They put all their efforts into you & your trip so you don't have a thing to worry about but to look, learn & enjoy the beauty!

This was a down day for us. We had been in the go with the ruins & we slowed our pace to just enjoy some gentle walks, education about the area, culture & history from Jacer our guide. It was a perfect day to slow down & just enjoy some local sites.

Our guide looked hard but it didn't get to see the manatee but we got to see so many other marine wildlife, dolphins played in the boat wake! How fun!!!

Ending in San Pedro at Ramon’s Village with warm weather, white sand, snorkeling, and wonderful food sounds like the perfect grand finale. That balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation is exactly what I hoped this anniversary visit would feel like for you all.

Thank you for your incredibly kind words about my role in planning this celebration. I genuinely put my heart into making sure every detail aligned with your vision, and knowing it exceeded your expectations is the greatest reward I could receive.
