1. Pre-travel - fantastic
2. Arrival - we were conned by the money changer (Global Exchange at the airport) - to purchase a debit card (cost 299 MAD - non-refundable) - for safety reason - the lady try to push us to buy 4 cards (one each) - which luckily we declined but still lost 299 MAD for the useless card.
3. Muhammad Ruzaidi dropped out his wallet from the Airport door to the car.
Casablanca - Meknes- Fes - OK - expensive lunch.
4. 2 nights at Riad Norma - OK
5. Riad Norma itself - the room is old and musty with stale potpourri smell - would rather have a neutral smell in the room. Mdm Monique and her staff were very attentive though. Overall, very personal experience with super extensive breakfast.
6. Fes day tour - OK expensive lunch.
7. Fes to Chefchaouen - stop by at Volubilis - OK
8. Chefchaouen - optional guided tour - OK
9. Chefchaouen - one night stay at a very nice Riad Cherifa ( even though not as personal as Riad Norma) and nice breakfast.
10. Chefchaouen to Rabat - nice reasonably priced lunch at Mister Rotisserie. Rabat city tour - OK
11. Rabat to Casablanca - Casablanca city tour - OK
12. Stay at Odyssee Center Hotel - nice (relatively small) room - they were nice enough providing us with packed breakfast since we checked out at 6am. The front desk was not able to release the blocked 3000MAD fund from my Visa due to bad internet connection. As a result 3000MAD was deducted from my card - yet to get the reimbursement from them.
12. Casablanca to Airport - OK

Overall:
1. Driver - Muhammad - fantastic - punctual all the time and the van was very comfortable.
2. Overall food is quite pricey
3. Get back the missing wallet at the airport (fantastic - very amanah!)
4. Good support from kimkim

Salam Shah,

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback and precious comments. It has been a great honor to support you before, during and after your trip. I always look forward to receiving reviews from my travelers especially that it's a great occasion to learn a lot from all the experiences.

For the exchange offices, I have sent you two different documents before your arrival; in our travel document "Information package", we have mentioned clearly a section about "Money" on page 5 where we specifically noted the following: It may happen that you are offered a credit card (in dirham) at the currency exchange offices at the airport upon your arrival (extra fees charged). It's NOT mandatory, so we advise you to not take it if you do not want to.

This note has been added after receiving a note from one of my travelers as well. It's always the best to hear from all the travelers and this way we make sure all our notes are very effective. The remarks and comments you mentioned above are all being forwarded to my providers to ensure regular checks and improvements.

Regarding the 3000MAD which was deducted from your card, as I have already mentioned via WhatsApp, the hotel front desk confirmed that the operation was successfully done. The refund may take from 3 to 15 days. We advise you to follow up with your bank consultant as well.

Last but not least, please allow me to say that the food budget is hard to control when it comes to optional lunches or dinners. In Morocco, we really have massive choices and restaurants to choose from in the cities and your driver is at your disposal to stop at any restaurant of your choice.

I hope to have the chance to welcome you again because there are many regions to visit still.

All the best,
Brahim
