We had a very exciting and informative trip. All of the guides were professional, personable and exhibited enthusisam when sharing details and history of the places we visited. My only disappointment was with the bus trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath. We arrived before the castle was open to visitors and were among the first people to enter. There was not sufficient time to enjoy the tour of the castle. I felt as though I was racing through the various rooms in order to make it back to the bus for the next segment of our trip. I would suugest taking a train to Windsor in order to have more time and not try to cram that much into the day.

Comfortable and quiet environment. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast service in the Parlour was questionable in terms of service and competence of some of the staff. Management did their best to compensate for the poor performance.

John made us feel at home immediately. We enjoyed spending the day with him. Taking us to the gravesite of Winston Churchill was an unexpected surprise. He also shared many details of the Cotswolds.

Hi Carmel,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback - I’m truly delighted to hear that your trip was exciting, informative, and filled with memorable experiences. It warms my heart to know you enjoyed the company of your wonderful guides - Delianne, Jack, and John will be so happy to hear your kind words. I love that John took you to Churchill’s gravesite - what a meaningful and unexpected touch.

I completely understand how you felt about the Windsor–Stonehenge–Bath day - it’s such a shame when something so special feels a little too rushed. Those big multi-stop tours do try to fit in a lot, and sometimes that means you don’t get the quiet moments to truly take it all in. Your idea of taking the train to Windsor instead is absolutely lovely — it allows time to wander, linger, and really feel the magic of the place at your own rhythm. I’ll be sure to keep that wonderful suggestion in mind for next adventures, and share it with future travellers who, like you, want to experience England in a more meaningful way.

I’m so pleased you enjoyed The Savoy dining experience and that Wimbledon looked after you and your husband so well. Thank you again for being such a kind and thoughtful traveller ❤️

Wishing you both many more wonderful travels ahead — hopefully with more time to linger and enjoy each moment!

With love,
Kate
