From the beginning of planning this trip, Yassine (our trip coordinator) was a huge help. We were able to tailor our trip to our interests and experience unique adventures that we will never forget. Yassine was able to listen to our desires, make great recommendations, and explain the small nuances that really helped up navigate another country and be prepared for all of our events.
Our private driver, Hamza was along with us for the entire 12 days. This was a first time experience for us with an international trip, and how amazing it was. He was not just a driver, he was a point person that was able to help with any in country concerns/accommodations. He went out of his way to make sure all of our needs were met, we really felt taken care of while he was with us. Even more so, we got to know him over the 12 days of our vacation and we truly felt like we made a friend in Morocco. We know that our trip was so special with many thanks to Hamza.
We also had amazing tour guides during this trip, I’d especially like to mention that Hamid (our guide in Fez), and Hassan (our guide in Marrakech), were both knowledgeable, friendly, and of great assistance with navigating not just the medinas, but the culture in Morocco. If we told them there was something we were interested in purchasing, they both really went out of their way to help us with finding high quality products and with the negotiation process that many vendors use.
I loved every part of this trip, I have built memories and relationships that I will never forget. I am so grateful to Kimkim for being a company that I trust (as I’ve worked with Kimkim 2 times in the past) and offering me access to these wonderful experiences.

This was a really unique accommodation, it had a very authentic and traditional vibe. The staff were very friendly and a huge compliment to the chef. The meals provided here were hands down some of the best we had in Morocco! The name, Paradise of Silence, is very fitting. This place is tucked away in a way that helps you feel connected to nature while in comfort. You really did get to hear all the sounds that you never noticed before, from the wind to the trees, it was just magical.
The staff here really make a difference! They are very willing to help and make recommendations in the complex Medina of Marrakesh. This hotel provides an app on your phone that allows you to navigate the Medina without needing WiFi or data. This live map helps you get to and from the riad with ease, find trusted vendors, and great restaurant recommendations. I wish all overseas accommodations were this innovative!
The campsite was beautiful and the camelback ride was majestic. Accommodations were nice considering it was in the middle of the desert.
The hotel was quaint and homey, with a beautiful upstairs patio area. Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough to comment on the food.
The hotel was luxurious yet homey, with a huge room and enormous balcony. Breakfast was standard Moroccan fare.
Activity Reviews
Our chef during this class was amazing! She was a great teacher, very playful and friendly. It was a great experience to learn how to cook traditional Moroccan food.
The timing of the camel ride and overnight stay was perfect to avoid the extreme heat. It was a pleasant and memorable experience.
We ended up not doing the hike due to being tired from the trip. I would suggest providing more information on difficulty levels and distances for hikes in the future.
We visited a mosque, a must-see for visitors due to its beautiful architecture and rich history.
