This was a great trip. Diogo and Joao were terrific hosts. Attentive and funny. All the hotels were well chosen especially Quinta de Pacheca. The itinerary was perfect. 4 people and each of us left with beautiful memories and stories to tell.

The Mercure Porto Centro was very well-located, making it easy for us to explore Porto. We initially had an interior room with frosted windows, but the staff kindly offered us a different room with real windows, which was great. Overall, our stay was smooth and trouble-free.

The Douro Valley wine estate visit was simply extraordinary. The landscape and vineyards were unbelievably beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time there. We decided to cut out one of the additional stops on the way back to Porto, but didn't feel like we missed anything important.
The port wine tasting tour in Porto was a great experience. We got to taste various kinds of delicious port wines and learn more about the history and process of making them. It was well-organized and enjoyable.
