A Wonderful 10-Day Journey Through Morocco—with Special Thanks to Hamza! 🇲🇦

Our 10-day trip through Morocco with Original Travels Company was a wonderful experience, filled with beautiful scenery, fascinating history, delicious food, and warm hospitality. The team thoughtfully arranged our accommodations, transportation, sightseeing, and local restaurants, allowing us to relax and enjoy discovering this remarkable country.

A special thank-you goes to our driver, Mr. Hamza, who was exceptional throughout the journey. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, he made us feel comfortable and well cared for every day. His kindness and enthusiasm for sharing his country added so much to our experience. It was a pleasure spending these ten days with him, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone visiting Morocco.

From the beautiful blue streets of Chefchaouen and the historic medina of Fes to the Atlas Mountains, Aït Benhaddou, and the lively souks of Marrakech, each destination offered something memorable. Casablanca and Rabat added another perspective on Morocco’s rich history and modern life. Along the way, we enjoyed authentic Moroccan meals, refreshing mint tea, and moments of genuine connection with the people we met.

We have a few constructive suggestions that could make future trips even more comfortable. Guests would benefit from advance notice when a riad is located deep within the medina and requires a considerable walk with luggage. Assistance with carrying or transporting bags would be especially welcome. Where possible, outdoor sightseeing could also be scheduled for the cooler morning or late-afternoon hours to avoid the intense midday heat.

At the Roman ruins, our scheduled guide was unavailable when we arrived. The replacement guide was pleasant and welcoming, although he appeared understandably tired after leading several earlier groups. Ensuring the designated guide is ready on arrival would improve this part of the experience.

Overall, we were very happy with our journey and appreciated the care and organization provided by Original Travels Company. We returned home with beautiful memories and a deeper appreciation of Morocco’s culture and hospitality.
