We were initially unfamiliar with Kimkim, but after reading many positive reviews, we decided to request a plan and quote alongside two other well-known tour operators. From the start, Kimkim stood out.
Our primary contact, Abdel, was remarkably responsive and fast, never keeping us waiting more than 48 hours for an answer. Based on his initial recommendations and our own research, Abdel patiently adjusted our itinerary roughly 15 times until every detail was exactly what we wanted. He was extremely tolerant, flexible, and offered great insights from his experience to help refine our route. Once we finalized the plan, the booking process was seamless and secure.
Upon landing in Morocco, we were met at the airport by our driver, Mustafa, whose contact details had been provided in advance. Mustafa was exceptional—polite, friendly, and eager to make our trip special. Given the long driving distances, good communication was key for us, and Mustafa made it effortless with his strong English and French skills. Beyond his impeccable driving and unwavering commitment to our safety, he shared fascinating stories about the local places, gave thoughtful advice, and helped us discover far more spots than we originally anticipated. Even through long, full days of driving and sight-seeing, he always maintained a warm smile and a helpful attitude. We truly could not have been in better hands.
Because we were on a tight budget, we requested mid-range accommodations. To our delight, every location exceeded our expectations—they were clean, beautifully kept, and served good breakfasts accompanied by wonderful service. A major highlight was our stay in the Merzouga Desert. The desert camp was extraordinary; the tents were incredibly spacious and comfortable, complete with electricity and full private bathrooms, and the evening atmosphere under the stars was magical.
Throughout the entire journey, Kimkim remained completely flexible and accommodated our last-minute requests. The whole trip turned out far better than we could have imagined, creating memories we will cherish forever. We will without a doubt book through Kimkim again and highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Morocco!

Hotel Reviews
Riad Atrium & Spa
Marrakesh

This Riad was really nice. The location was interesting, as vehicles can't reach it so we were dropped and then had to walk to it; however a hotel porter came to meet us to carry our bags. The rooms were clean, really large with high ceilings and quite comfortable (tons of pillows and rugs!). Breakfast was included, the service was really good, the server nice and friendly and the food selection excellent. We were there only for two nights but would have loved to stay longer as the place was lovely. Highly recommended.

Authenticity & Character
Really well decorated, the place was charming with a total Moroccan style.
Location
Located in the middle of the Medina, in the heart of all the amenities and safe.
Staff
The staff was friendly and courteous.
Cleanliness & Comfort
The place was quite clean (despite all the rugs and pillows), the bed was comfortable. In general, the place was really nice.
Dar Rihana Dades
Douar Aït Ouffi

We arrived at the Dar ("house") very late at night, and at first, its location seemed quite remote and dark. However, the next morning, with daylight, we discovered just how incredible the setting was! Perched at the top of a canyon, the Dar offers breathtaking views of a beautiful oasis. The room was charming, comfortable, and well equipped, making our stay very pleasant. Breakfast was served in a separate building about 50 metres away, and it was delicious and generous, with plenty to enjoy. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in the Dades Valley, with a truly spectacular location and a peaceful atmosphere. Don’t let a late-night arrival fool you — the views in the morning are absolutely worth it!

Authenticity & Character
Very charming decorated with a Moroccan style. Our room had a balcony facing the canyon; at night it was impressive but during the day it was incredible beautiful.
Location
Not much around, but close to Boulmane Dades city. The Dar ("house") is located at the top of a canyon and had an incredible view of the oasis.
Staff
Very friendly staff, not only for check in/out but also at the restaurant.
Cleanliness & Comfort
The room was spacious and clean; the bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was big with all the required services including argan oil shampoo, body gel, body lotion and hairdryer.
Orient Desert Camp
Merzouga

Our stay at the Merzouga desert camp went far beyond our highest expectations! Nested right among the rolling sand dunes, the camp setup was truly remarkable. The main outdoor common area featured comfortable seating centered around a cozy fire pit, with charming carpeted walkways linking the grounds. Meals were served in a spacious, beautifully equipped tent that felt just like a high-end restaurant. Arranged around the central courtyard were the sleeping tents, which offered incredible comfort. Each tent was fully equipped with modern amenities, including electrical power and a full private bathroom with a hot shower. The floors were lined with lovely carpets, and both the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable—ensuring a great night's sleep in the middle of the desert. In the evening, the atmosphere was wonderful. We enjoyed delicious tea and pastries accompanied by traditional live music around the fire, all set beneath an breathtaking, star-filled night sky. It was an incredible experience, and I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Authenticity & Character
Way more than what we expected. The set up with the carpeted walkways in the grounds, the fire pit and cozy chairs and puffs around it; the Moroccan music at night, the coffee and pastries in the evening, all made us feel like we were in movie.
Location
Well located, it made us feel we were really in the middle of the Sahara desert. The place is quiet and you can see the sunset and sunrise as well as many stars at night.
Staff
Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness & Comfort
The tents were very clean, the floor covered with carpets. The bathroom was well set up with a hot shower. In general not what one will expect in a desert!
Riad & Spa Dar Bensouda
Fes

Our stay in Fes was a wonderful and authentic experience! The hotel is tucked right in the middle of the Medina, and getting there is an adventure in itself through a labyrinth of winding, narrow streets. Since no vehicles can access the Medina, we were very grateful for the porter who met us at the main entrance to guide us and carry our luggage. When we first checked in, we were assigned a small room that unfortunately had a damp smell. However, the staff was accommodating when we requested a room change and moved us to a much larger room on the main floor. It was a fascinating space with very high ceilings and a unique layout featuring an upstairs bathroom. The hotel’s amenities were lovely: The Main Courtyard: A stunning central patio featuring a lovely pool—a perfect spot to unwind. Rooftop Terrace: Outfitted with comfortable lounge chairs and tables, creating a super cozy atmosphere to relax and take in the surroundings. On-Site Dining: A convenient second-level restaurant serving delightful food. Overall, it's a beautiful, atmospheric property right in the center of historic Fes, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Authenticity & Character
Completely Moroccan style; high ceilings, carpets and pillows everywhere and a big central patio with a fountain. The restaurant area was very nice with the beautiful swimming pool and lounge chairs to rest.
Location
Located in the middle of the oldest Medina in Morocco, it was really cool to go through the winding narrow streets.
Staff
The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we requested a change of room, they immediately took care of the problem and helped us to get a new one.
Cleanliness & Comfort
The rooms were clean, the bed and pillows comfortable. we requested a double room with a king size bed and it had also an extra bed. The bathroom though was in a second floor, kind of an interesting set up.
