We had a fantastic adventure with in Vietnam. The itinerary was definitely a good mix of city and rural, which matched our love of nature and adventure—caves, forests, mangroves, diving, hiking, and plenty of moving parts, all handled smoothly. Even when real travel moments popped up, we felt supported and well looked after. Highly recommend for a well-planned, authentic Vietnam experience.
The things I would do differently is to have less flying every couple of days and less city time. If there was a direct flight from Dong Hoi to Con Asia and we did the tours from Ho chi min at the beginning or the end of the trip. The guide were very accommodating and helpful in Phong Nha & went above and beyond to accommodate and support us. Our guide in Ho Chi Minh was okay but wouldn’t recommend,.
