Magical Germany Vacation!! (Thanks to Lucie)

Lucie did an amazing job planning our visit to Germany. She was able to incorporate our interests and a pre-scheduled event into our itinerary. The Platzl hotel in Munich was perfectly located and the accommodations and staff were fantastic. We did a tour of Dachau with our guide Haim. He did a great job informing us and keeping our small group together. Lucie arranged for a rental car in Munich and we drove to the AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa in Hohenschwangau, Schwangua. Home to both the Neuschwanstein Castle and the Hohenschwangau Castle. Both are stunning.
The next day we visited the Top of Germany, Zugspitze. The cogwheel train up and the cable car down were part of the adventure. After coming off the mountain, we drove to the Linderhof Royal Palace. We enjoyed our walk, but due to the time of year, most areas weren’t open. It does look to be spectacular in the summer when the gardens are open. Still happy we went. Lucie was terrific in answering my questions about this day. We then drove back to Munich and took the train to Berlin. Appreciated the great seats Lucie has reserved for us. The first evening in Berlin was our pre-scheduled event. The following day, we had an amazing Jewish History tour led by Ronen. He was fantastic! After the tour we decided to walk to our appointed time at the Jewish Museum. We found a great place to eat and interesting sights along the way. The museum is a treasure. The next day Lucie had arranged for us to be picked up and driven to the airport. The drivers for not airport rides were wonderful! Can’t recommend the Kim Kim planning and specifically Lucie enough. She planned a dream vacation for us!!

The staff at the hotel was outstanding!!! The breakfast was good. The accommodations need to be updated and maintained.

The room decor and amenities, like a jr suite with only one very strange chair to sit in, were confusing at best. The shower wasn’t clean. Our room was never serviced and the door lock didn’t work properly.

Didn’t really have an emergency. However, we had an issue when our guide didn’t show for our tour. Lucie had provided our tour team’s contact information so I reached out directly to them. In the midst of getting everything fixed, Lucie reached out proactively to be sure all was ok. She went above and beyond!!
