Our trip to Morocco was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, everything was incredible — the sights, the experiences, and especially the people who made it all possible.
Hassan, the owner of Under Moroccan Sun, made planning our trip so easy and stress-free. He responded quickly to every question and detail, no matter how small, and made sure everything was perfectly arranged before we even arrived. His professionalism and care gave us total peace of mind throughout the planning process.
Once we arrived, our driver, Ismail, made the journey truly exceptional. He was spectacular — kind, attentive, and always going above and beyond. He paid close attention to every detail, ensuring we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying every moment. His knowledge, warmth, and genuine care turned a wonderful trip into something truly extraordinary.
We can’t thank Hassan and Ismail enough for making this such a memorable experience. If you’re thinking about visiting Morocco, Under Moroccan Sun is the way to go — they made our dream trip a reality!
Hotel Reviews
Riad Touda in Marrakesh was beautiful and gorgeous. However, the room was darker than what I expected based on the pictures in the trip plan, which showed a bright yellow room. Our room had no windows to the outside, only to a courtyard, so it felt very dark. Despite this, it was a minor issue, and the rest of our stay was fine.
The hotel itself was dingy, and dirty. It needed a serious update. Further, the air conditioning in our room wasn't working properly and it was brought to the attention of the staff and they failed to fix it during our stay.
The best part of this experience was the cuisine. It was exquisite. The dishware, the plating, the taste was exceptional.
Activity Reviews
We visited the Hassan II Mosque, which was the main reason we flew into Casablanca. Although our initial plan to visit was delayed due to lengthy immigration and customs clearance, we managed to visit the next morning. It was a highlight of our time in Casablanca, though from a scheduling perspective, there wasn't much flexibility.
The Cooking Class at La Maison Arabe Marrakech was a wonderful experience. Despite some scheduling adjustments, it was amazing. We ended up going directly from the Hammam spa, which wasn't ideal initially but turned out fine. The class itself was enjoyable and quite enlightening.
