Lovely hotel - nautical theme.
Very nice staff and had horses and a sauna!
Large property but we were in an apartment in the back. It was a handicapped accessible room with an open shower in the bathroom. Not the nicest of rooms. The main room in the lobby was nice and breakfast was extensive.
Very nice view and nice, small hotel, but the shower nozzles were difficult to turn and we were scalded by the hot water.
Very nice hotel but away from the downtown area.

Very crowded the day after the eclipse and not enough staff to handle the crowd.
That is great that you had a memorable trip despite lack of visible eclipse. I hope you will revisit Iceland one day!
