Trip to Morocco

We had a wonderful vacation in Morocco! We visited Casablanca, Rabat, Mekenes, Volubilis, Fes, Marrakesh and the High Atlas mountains.

Hajar (local specialist) made every effort to understand what we were looking for and did an amazing job planning out the itinerary in detail. I had a mix of phone/email interactions to finalize our plans. Oussama and their operations team made the plan a reality!

Our driver Hafid drove well; he was calm, pleasant and ensured our comfort at all times.

I cannot say enough good things about Mustafa our guide. He was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable, patient and went out of his way to give us a meaningful experience.

The Fes medina was the most memorable. We have previously travelled a lot and have never seen something like this. We were transported to the 15th century, except that everyone had a cell phone!

Trekking in the High Atlas mountains was a nice way to end our trip. We plucked ripe cherries as we walked along!

Staying in the riads was also very memorable; it felt opulent and grand! The food, tea service, cookies and staff were terrific.
