I did not know that our kimkim travel agent was not local. She was in europe. So our conversations we delayed by 7-8 hours. Usually the point person in kimkim is in country. I think for Banf and Jasper in retrospect a travel agent is not needed. The tours were not as active as we wanted. It was sitting on a bus, getting out and looking at sites, and getting back in the bus. I would have liked more guided hikes. It turns out that could have been done as self guided tours. The columbia ice fields was good but not great for the price. The helicopter ride kept getting rescheduled everyday due to weather and military exercises and we had to cancel eventually because it was the end of our trip. That is not the fault of kimkim but it would have been better to be interacting with kimkim than the helicopter company. Also our kimkim agent took holiday in the middle of our trip so there was no kimkim agent. We had to interact with the individual tour companies ourselves and than never picked up the phone. And of course we paid all this money to kimkim for turn key service.

Beautiful experience. Very pretty.
We had to do the whole thing from the car. We couldn’t go outside. There’s not a walking tour. Just had us sit inside the bus and listen to the tour guide talked to us.
Really expensive. Beautiful place. Quality of the savory snacks was actually low. Quality of the sweet snacks was amazing. Just realize you’re paying a lot of money for OK amount of food not that much

This trip kept on getting rebooked because of weather and then one time they had to rebook because of a military exercise in the area. Ultimately, we ran out of time and our trip so we never ended up doing it. They plan on refunding all our money, but it has not been refunded yet.
It is a lot of lecturing and a lot of talking very little time on the telescopes. Most of the time was people were talking to us about the northern lights and talking to us about asteroids and meteors. We spent very little time on the actual telescopes. And even with that we didn’t really see much.
Really beautiful. Really knowledgeable guide. We got to hop on a hop off and see a lot of sites. The Boat Tours was not that great. Spent 35 minutes getting to an island. Spent like 15 minutes on the island. And then had to go back for 35 minutes.
