Snaefelles National park was fantastic. We had a great weather day for the drive around the peninsula.
Great jumping off point for multiple day trips. Town is cute as a button and has a gigantic Icewear store.
Didn’t get to do - hurricane force winds forced cancellation. The lagoon itself is a “ don’t miss” activity. Looked like it would have been fun
Unbelievable. Really fun - we had perfect weather. Drive up and back in giant truck on extreme road was almost as fun as the snowmobiling. Had the glacier all to ourselves - beautiful pictures
Fun ferry ride, followed by boat tour with local guide. Lots of birds, caught a glimpse of a whale
In retrospect, probably could have travelled directly from Westmann island tour back to Reykjavik, rather than returning to Vik and the retracing our steps the next day.
Funday in town, a few museums and shopping. Dinner at Fiskgelid was delicious.
The absolute best. Don’t miss. Must do. Very cool. Everyone having a great time.
