I was a bit skeptical with using a professional because I have always booked my own trips, but I will say that it was 100% worth giving up the reigns with Emanuela. She took just a few tidbits of what I was looking for and was able to deliver really the perfect trip. **If you usually book your own trips like I do, I would suggest for Iceland that you avoid that. I met people who were "doing their own thing" and so many of them seemed a bit lost and missed the off-the-beaten path sights. For Iceland specifically, I'd highly recommend using a local professional like Emanuela.
