Our trip was amazing. Switzerland was beautiful. I'm so happy that all of the travel connections went so smoothly. The bike trip around Lake Constance was perfect. It was hot but we got to cooldown with dips in the Lake. Joel was always very responsive with answering questions. He gets 5 stars.
Nathalie was inconsiderate of our needs and was condescending. There were a couple of glitches in scheduling. I realize that we started with another specialist and then Nathalie took over but apparently she didn't read the previous emails. We had requested a massage after the bike ride. A spa package was booked but it didn't include a massage. They didn't have anyone available to even add it on. This was a specific request that was ignored. It was disappointing to get to this beautiful spa expecting a service that we didn't get. Next was the issue with the farm tour in Interlaken. A cheese tour was included. Nathalie came back and said it was unavailable after the trip was booked. She said she would substitute the farm tour at no additional charge. I had told her to go ahead with it. She was on vacation and Joel or someone else, not sure, responded and said they could book it for additional charge. I went ahead and paid because I forgot that Nathalie said it would be upgraded at no additional charge. I asked Nathalie about the refund but got no where with her. In addition, the farm tour wasn't what was advertised. There was no woodscraftman or chocolate sampling.

Regarding the massage, I had seen the previous discussions regarding this request, and my intention was to select a spa experience that would complement your bike tour. The package that was ultimately booked did not include a massage and this was clearly mentionned on your travels documents you received 3 weeks before arrival. We still could have added the massage at this time.
I also informed you about possibilities of having a massage in Zermatt.

Regarding the farm experience in Interlaken, I would also like to clarify what happened, as there appears to have been some confusion during the handover while I was away.

The original cheese experience was no longer available in small group but only in private after your trip had been confirmed. As an alternative, I proposed the farm visit at no additional cost and understood from our exchange that you were happy for us to proceed with this solution. While I was away, there was unfortunately a communication issue, and you were subsequently advised that the farm experience would involve an additional charge. I understand that you paid this amount, and I am sorry that the information you received was inconsistent with what I had previously communicated.

As for the content of the farm visit itself, I am also sorry if the experience did not correspond to what you had understood from the description. We rely on our local partners to deliver the experiences as presented. Unfortunately the woodcraft is closed on Monday and the chocolate elements were removed because you had done it the day before.

I do, however, want to emphasize that there was never any intention to disregard your requests or to be condescending toward you. I am sorry that this was how my communication came across, as this is certainly not the way I wish to interact with my travelers. Your itinerary involved several detailed arrangements and, as you mentioned, there was also a transition between specialists during the planning process.

I hope you will understand that these situations resulted from misunderstandings and communication issues rather than a lack of consideration for your needs.

Finally, I'll keep your very positive first sentence in mind saying that your trip in Switzerland was amazing given that I was the one who arranged the entire itinerary for your trip.
