Spend your first day in Cape Town, with time to explore top city landmarks and ride the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. Days two and three are dedicated to visiting wineries in the Winelands, followed by a Cape Peninsula driving tour to the Cape of Good Hope, at Africa’s southernmost tip. Of course, you’ll stop en route visit the penguin colony at Simons Town, plus swim at Maidens Cove.

Next day visit one of Cape Town's iconic townships before taking the ferry to the former prison on Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens awaits on day four. One of the world's most exceptional botanical gardens, it’s rich with exotic bird and floral species. Then head to Constantia to savor a fusion lunch at La Colombe, a fine dining restaurant that gives a foretaste for next day as you sample South Africa's multi-cultural culinary influences.

On day seven you’ll fly to Johannesburg for two days in South Africa’s largest and most vibrant city. Here you’ll visit the Nelson Mandela Museum, plus enjoy a guided tour of Soweto township and a walking tour of the Maboneng Precinct, a former industrial zone that has been transformed with art galleries, restaurants, markets, and a buzzing nightlife.  A highlight will be an interactive culinary experience that spans the African continent.

Day nine, you’ll travel to Kruger National Park, considered the crown jewel of South Africa’s game parks. Here you’ll spend four days on the lookout for the Big Five—elephants, buffalo, rhino, lion, and leopard—and other creatures during open-vehicle game drives, and a sunrise bush walk along the Olifants River. On day one you’ll arrive Cape Town and spend the afternoon relaxing at Bloubergstrand Beach. Next morning is filled exploring the historic city highlights, while in the afternoon take a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain. Foodies will love day three as you sample South Africa's multi-cultural culinary influences, including a traditional Cape Malay lunch in the colorful Bo Kaap district, plus craft beer in the trendy suburb of Woodstock.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens awaits on day four. One of the world's most exceptional botanical gardens, it’s rich with exotic bird and floral species. Then head to Constantia to savor a fusion lunch at La Colombe, an acclaimed fine dining restaurant. Day five, drive south along the Cape Peninsula to the Cape of Good Hope.
