Day 1: Arrive in Victoria Falls
When you land at Victoria Falls Airport (VFA), your transfer company will be waiting in arrivals with your name on a sign. They will bring you to your accommodation in Victoria Falls, Batonka Guest Lodge, located in the quieter suburbs just a few minutes away from the town center and the falls. The lodge offers a free daily shuttle to and from town at designated times, so consider asking for a timetable when you check in.
This afternoon, you will take a sunset and dinner cruise that begins in Batonka. Enjoy the relaxing ride and beautiful views along with a four-course dinner. After the cruise is over, you will return to the guest house for the evening.
Day 2: Helicopter Ride Over Victoria Falls
Today, you will take a short helicopter flight over the falls. A driver will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to the helipad. After the flight, they will drop you off back in town so you can explore the shops and market. There are many options for lunch and dinner in town, or if you prefer, you can arrange to eat lunch at Batonka.
If you'd like, we can assist you in booking additional activities in the area. Some suggestions include:
- Go white water rafting—a full-day experience that includes lunch and refreshments
- Meet a herd of elephants and their handlers and walk through the bush with them
- Visit the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for lunch on their deck
Day 3: Day-Trip to Chobe National Park
Today, a driver will pick you up and transfer you to Chobe National Park for a day of exploration. You will begin with a boat cruise on the Chobe River where you can spot some wildlife and have lunch when you return to shore. In the afternoon, you can take a safari drive deeper into the park to see huge herds of elephant and buffalo, and large lion prides. At the end of the day, a driver will take you back to the guest house where you'll have the evening free.
Day 4: Tour of Victoria Falls
After breakfast, a driver will pick you up and transfer you to the falls for your guided tour. A guide will show you the main sites and teach you about the area's history in roughly two hours. After the end of the tour, you can stay in town and explore on your own or go back to the guest house.
Day 5: Depart Victoria Falls
It's time to say goodbye to Zimbabwe! After you have your last breakfast in Africa, a representative will pick you up at your accommodation and drive you to Victoria Falls Airport for your international flight home.
