Discover the humble village of Balestrand on a walk with a local guide. Your host will share stories of the town's history and its people—still today, a vibrant artist colony. The tour starts at Høyviksalen, also known as the Høyvik Hall, where you'll find furniture made by the famous (at least locally!) Ivar Høyvik. Next, you'll continue to the bustling harbor filled with arts and crafts and then to St. Olaf’s Church. Finally, your guide will point out King Bele's statue from the saga of Fritjof the Brave and some of the characteristic dragon-style villas.
