The adventure begins when you board your high-speed rigid inflatable boat (RIB) in Gerianger for a return journey along the fjord's highlights, including the iconic Seven Sisters and Devil's Canyon. Along the way, you'll be entertained by the captain's good humor and stories of the area, with plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and soak up the views.

Your RIB fjord safari adventure begins as soon as you arrive at the Gerainger Brygge, an old boathouse in the center of Gerainger. After a warm welcome from your captain and a safety briefing, you'll drop your belongings in the lockers provided and get kitted out with your life jackets and gear. Then, it's time to set off in your small group, ready for an action-packed 50 minutes filled with high-speed cruising, humorous anecdotes, and guided commentary on the Geraingerfjord's highlights.

As your boat zips through the water, you'll get close enough to feel the cool spray from some of the area's most famous waterfalls, including the Seven Sisters, Suitor, and Bridal Veil cascades that tumble down 3,280 feet (1,000 m) from the cliffs above. Your captain will also make several stops along the way, allowing you to take in the breathtaking scenery and snap some photos. With a bit of luck, you might even spot the resident porpoises swimming alongside the boat. After your thrilling adventure, you'll return to Gerainger, where you can relax with a drink at the lounge bar on the quayside.
