Your adventure begins at the eco-friendly Riverside Farm Lodge, a beautifully restored 19th-century farm tucked away from the usual tourist hubs nearby in Flåm. This is the perfect place to fully embrace the authentic Norwegian ambiance, carefully designed by renowned interior designer Gunvor Røkholt. First, start your day with a guided hike through the forest landscape surrounding the lodge. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you'll be treated to panoramic views of the valley and fjord, while learning about the diverse plant and animal life that inhabits the area.  As you follow the trails, you'll come across Turlidfossen, a captivating waterfall. Here, your guide will tell you all about the Norse myths and folklore tied to this region while admiring the waterfall's powerful cascades.

As you reach the top of the hill, you'll be treated to a breathtaking view overlooking the Aurlandsfjord. It's the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a light snack. Your guide will prepare tea, coffee, and hot cinnamon rolls for you to savor as you take in the stunning landscape around you. After your refreshment break, you'll continue your hike, further exploring the beautiful scenery and wildlife that inhabit the area.

Back at the lodge, you'll have time to relax and freshen up. In the evening, the staff will prepare a three-course organic dinner using fresh ingredients from their on-site garden and the surrounding area. This is not just a meal but a communal experience.
