What you'll do

This relaxed night out in Soho begins when you join your guide and the rest of your small group and set off on a walk through one of Central London's most colorful (and flavorful) areas. Over the next 3.5 hours, you'll weave through the busy backstreets and squares of Soho and the neighboring Chinatown and Seven Dials, stopping at a handpicked mix of independent restaurants, street food joints, and cocktail bars to sample dishes inspired by the city's rich multicultural roots.

Stops can vary, but you can expect an exotic (and generous) array of tastings, so make sure to show up hungry. You might seek out a favorite local fusion spot for Indian-inspired dishes like chaat with prawn toast, or sit down to some Burmese-accented sweetcorn fritters and tangy shredded athoke (salad) accompanied by a creative cocktail (or mocktail). In between sips and small bites, you'll also learn more about how Soho got its name, and trace its transformation from open countryside to a notorious red-light district to the city's most vibrant entertainment and nightlife hub.

Other highlights include passing the Seven Dials Market as your guide explains its eclectic journey from banana warehouse to gastronomy hotspot, seeing where rock ' n ' roll history was made as you spot hole-in-the-wall clubs where Bowie and Hendrix played some of their earliest gigs, and cutting through the lantern-strung streets of Chinatown for some steaming, fluffy bao buns, which you'll eat street food-style as you stroll. The walk ends at a beloved basement bar tucked under Broadwick Street, where you'll toast the evening with a craft cocktail and a seasonal dessert.
