Hôtel A la Villa des Artistes, Paris

Small/boutique style. Centrally located in the 6th "district." We did not have the breakfast as part of our arrangement but could see it was quite nice. They have a small outdoor courtyard that was lovely. Overall, a "no frills" hotel but was all we needed for the amount of time we were spending there (most of our time was spent "out & about). I had asked KimKim to keep me on a lower floor and the hotel accommodated that easily. The room was clean and quiet. The beds comfortable.
There was construction on the street so there were times the street was closed to cars, making it a little tricky for uber, etc. I would recommend it!

Room was very small and cramped, there was not even enough space to lay out our small carry-on bags. The bathroom shower had tile pieces that were rusted and the hardware had fallen off. We also couldn’t get the room to cool down, but luckily it was nice outside so we slept with our windows open.

The highlight was the courtyard.

Josée secured us accommodations in a boutique hotel where I’d stayed before, Villa des Artistes in the 6th arrondissement. She had offered other, fancier places since this was an anniversary trip, but we opted for this 3-star hotel since we planned to have many outings throughout our stay and wanted to save some money for special dinners and other activities.

The hotel was just as I remembered: charming, clean, and comfortable, with a supremely helpful front-desk staff, generous continental breakfast. When we arrived in France, our friendly driver, Michael, met us at the airport and brought us to the hotel, where we were delighted to be able to check in early after our red-eye flight. We immediately went out to eat delicious crêpes at La Crêperie de Josselin on a nearby side street of Rue Montparnasse, which I believe is part of what is known as “Le Petit Bréton” of Paris.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Francesc was especially helpful during our stay. Their breakfast bar had good choice of healthy breakfast options.

A quiet, comfortable room with a friendly staff in the heart of Paris. Room was a little small, but not a problem for us. We would recommend it.

It was a cute hotel and in a great location. The beds were uncomfortable but everything else was great.

Great location and friendly staff

We enjoyed staying at A la Villa Des Artistes while visiting Paris. The location is convenient to the Metro and there are lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Our room was sizable for Paris with a large comfortable bed. The room was extremely quiet which was surprising given how close the hotel is to some major thoroughfares. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a nice variety and the dining area was clean and comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again.

A lovely boutique hotel, with excellent continental breakfast. The surrounding neighborhood includes terrific restaurants (La Closerie des Lilas, Le Dome Montparnasse, creperies near la rue Montparnasse) and not-to-be-missed bookstores, Tschann Librarie and Tschann Jeunesse, and the Jardin des Grands-Explorateurs and Les Jardins du Luxembourg are less than a 1/2 mile away on foot.
