This was a GREAT trip! KimKim, Aline, and her team listened and planned based on what we wanted. Nothing was preconceived! We had a little hiccup at our last hotel and they hopped on the phone and took care of it immediately. We highly recommend using the car services they planned for us - we felt very taken care of and very safe. Aline and team checked in on us and made sure we had all the contact information we needed. It was truly a great experience and I highly recommend using KimKim's services.

Chateau Hotel & Spa Grand Barrail was fabulous, truly a four-star standard. I loved the place and would definitely love to go back. It was close to Saint Emilion, where we spent a good chunk of our time. It was an incredible experience overall.

Pullman Paris Roissy CDG Airport

The experience at Pullman Paris Roissy CDG Airport was disappointing. The staff was extremely rude, and there was a significant issue with the reservation, which had not been paid for. They left us waiting for an hour and a half to resolve the problem, with no courtesy or helpfulness shown. It's everything people warn about Paris, unlike the wonderful experiences we had elsewhere in France.

Hôtel La Zoologie was a great place to stay. It was unique, interesting, and very comfortable. The location was perfect, about a 10 to 15-minute walk from the city center, which made it convenient to explore Bordeaux. The staff was fantastic and the whole experience was truly enjoyable.

The Day Tour in a Citroen 2CV was an absolute highlight. It was a private tour, and the driver was fantastic, showing us extra little places that really made the experience special and memorable. I would highly recommend this activity.

The Lunch or Dinner Cruise in Bordeaux was just okay. It felt redundant because of a similar daytime cruise we did. In hindsight, doing just one of these would have sufficed as they were quite similar experiences.

It appears that not everything was well coordinated. For example, our trip to Saint Tropez we did not have to take the taxi for €70 and the bus could pick us up on the way. There were a few similar mishaps like this. However, the good part was that bastion was always available on the phone. You really appreciate that. He helped us when the conflict occurred on the way.

We worked with KimKim to plan our recent trip to Switzerland and could not be happier with our overall experience! Our specialists, Aline and Bastien were super communicative and always ready to share ideas on experiences that would make our trip truly unique to us. Our time in Switzerland exceeded our expectations and we recognize that was in part due to the clear itinerary that our team provided us to ensure we made it from place to place each day.

We originally were not going to include Interlaken in our trip, but Aline and Bastien highly recommended we add those dates and visit Jungfraujoch, the tallest railway in Europe, and it ended up being one of the top highlights of the trip!

We will certainly use KimKim when planning our next big trip!

Overall, we thought that the trip was amazing. The French team had everything planned and made the trip seemless. They were informative with suggestions if issues came up, booked great hotels (minus 1), and were communicative. Only issue we had the entire trip was when we arrived, our car service never showed up, even though we paid for it. We did have to double pay for that, but that was the only hiccup. Would recommend them to anyone, and will be using Kim Kim again!

I had a fantastic experience booking my trip to France with my son through Kimkim. Bastian was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process — he helped us plan a thoughtful itinerary and was always available to answer questions, even when we were already in France.

One moment that really stood out was when we were at a train station and couldn’t figure out where to go because no one around us spoke English. I called Bastian, and he answered right away and guided us through it — it made all the difference and really eased our stress.

Thanks to his support, the whole trip felt smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely book with Kimkim again — you can absolutely trust them!

Our Kimkim's arranged trip to southern France was terrific in every way! They were easy to work with and accommodating to our particular requests. The accommodations were convenient and lovely, and the itinerary matched our desire for cultural/museum visits and explorations of small villages. (Unfortunately, after the height of the tourist season in October, many ateliers were closed for renovation.

Due to financial constraints, Kimkim recommended we rent a car to travel between some of our destinations. Unaware of the areas conventions around tolls, etc. driving turned out to be a bit hair-raising.

I've used Kimkim before, also for travel in France. That trip too, was excellently conceived and executed. I highly recommend Kimkim!

We had a wonderful family vacation to France in Summer 2024, thanks to the exceptional planning and support from Aline and Bastien at Discovery DMC. They designed a thoughtful and well-paced itinerary that included the highlights of Paris, the historical sites of Normandy, and the beauty of Nice. What stood out most was their attention to detail and responsiveness—before and during the trip. They tailored the experience to fit our family’s preferences and made sure everything ran smoothly. France was stunning! The Eiffel Tower at night is an absolute must! Going to Normandy and having a private tour with John to take us back into such a historic day was unreal! Bayeux was such a cute little town with everything nearby! Saint Malo and the boardwalk to get to the center was stunning! We had so much fun walking around! There was the most stunning church inside Saint malo with all amazing statues of the virgin mother and the most beautiful stain glass windows you will ever see!

Perfect location! The staff was SO helpful we had our rental car die and the man at the front desk helped with speaking French where I couldn’t! Our room was huge! So much room for our luggage and bunk beds which my daughter loved!! Right around the corner from all restaurants and there was even a market open one of the days that was awesome!

Stunning view!!!! The back of the hotel was on the boardwalk and it was so peaceful! Only negative was no lift so we had to carry all our bags up multiple stairs!!! Location was stunning though and worth it!

Paris is a very very large city with all different little nooks! We were about 20min Uber ride from the Eiffel Tower! The room was nothing special but it worked for sleeping! The girls working at the front desk were soooo nice! Helped recommend food nearby for us to go eat! The only thing I thought was weird is we stayed there two separate times on the trip and the second time we went to leave the room for the day and they asked us for the key until we got back even though all our things were in the room! I didn’t like this, nothing happened but it was not mentioned and only one man working there ever gave us this issue!

MUST DO! If history is even remotely interesting to you this is an absolute! One of the best days in my entire trip! John our guide was unbelievable! So knowledgeable and took us to the places that he knew the big tour buses wouldn’t be starting at to get us some quiet time! Gave us so much information and it was just truly chilling being there and reminiscing on history!

Evening Eiffel Tower Tour

An evening Eiffel Tower tour is a MUST! I just wouldn’t use a private tour like we did! Just go and buy the tickets and do it yourself! Seeing the tower at night is a must and having the experience of going all the way up was incredible! Our guide was an hour and a half late and it just seemed very unorganized! She was so nice but didn’t seem worth the wait!
