Mathilde helped us plan a wonderful trip to Zurich, Bavaria, and Munich.

Hotels were nice, clean, comfy, with excellent included breakfasts. We enjoyed our trip from Zurich to the Black Forest of Germany with Sergio very much. The Lindt Chocolate factory tour was also a highlight. Le D'ezaley and Swiss Chuchi were two very good meals in Zurich, both recommended by Mathilde.

Then we moved on to Lindau, Fussen, and Neuschwanstein Castle with our tour guide, Paul. The Castle was unforgettable in the snow.

After traveling by train to Munich, Mathilde's driver was awaiting our arrival and took us to our hotel and then to the Viktualienmarkt for our food tour with Kevin. He was fantastic!

Finally, our tour of FC Bayern Munich's Allianz Stadium was a highlight for our children while later that day, enjoying a liter of beer at Augustiner Keller was a highlight for me.

Thank you, Mathilde for planning a wonderful trip to an area of the world that I did not know much about. Initially, I had some reservations about hiring KimKim and Mathilde, but everything was smooth and well organized and I would use them again without hesitation.

Mathilde planned a wonderful trip for our family. The variety of tours was perfect. We especially liked our food tour in Munich as it wasn’t just focused on Bavarian food, but also other international flavors which have been adopted into the culture.

The hotels were in perfect locations for walking to all the important sites.

There really isn’t anything she could have done to improve our experience. Thank you.

I do have one suggestion for KimKim though. I would wait a few days after our trip to ask for a review, as sending the email while still on vacation spoils the last day. We are not done yet. Thank you.

Very nice hotel, but in a not-great area of the city. Surrounded by graffiti, and our Uber would not drop us off directly at the hotel due to one-way streets. We needed to walk about 1 block.

My daughter, my niece and myself booked a winter ski trip to Switzerland last month. Our specialist Mathilde was phenomenal. She ensured we had an overall amazing ski experience and booked the right tours for our adventure. She was knowledgeable, and patient as I had lots of questions. She gave us recommendations as it relates to Christmas markets, must see places and shopping areas. The hotels were absolutely cozy and stunning. The restaurant recommendations were superb. We plan on taking another trip to Switzerland next winter. This is my 3rd time using Kim Kim for travels overseas, and they never disappoint, We will definitely reach out to Kim Kim when we return to Switzerland in Dec. 2026.

Planning our trip was easy and seamless. Mathilde was very helpful and responsive. She was especially helpful when there an issue with the Italian railway system, and was able to change our tickets to a different time and route in order to get us to our next destination with time to spare.

Mathilde coordinated a an excellent trip. We wanted to take my mother in law to Europe who has never been before and tried to incorporate as many countries as possible. Everything was executed flawlessly with the drivers, transportations, guides, and flights. All the hotels were centrally located which was great.

They did not clean our room unless we told them, which was kind of odd because of other 5 star hotels due it automatically. It's a central hotel so I would consider staying here again but because of the daytime staff would consider another location.

Overall Mathilde did a great job of planning our intinerary to france/ paris. Reflecting back, I think we would use mathilde and her team again but in a limited way. A few notes on why not a perfect score:
- I wish she asked further on our preference for smaller items such as "what is your preferred time for train travel", or "please note some unique details on your itinerary like it says "welcome to paris enjoy a free day in paris" but please note that we have put you on a night time train so there will not be a free day in paris. however, I also should have read the very small details in the area of the schedule that says "click here for more details". but we made the assumption of hiring a travel agent, and paying the higher price for the convience of them working through the details and communicating with us on small items like this. We now know for next time, or we just wouldnt use them for items like that.
- we did ask for the last day to be open and we will plan on our own as we booked 2 private appointments for dress shopping and a different private appoitment for a shopping and a specialized reservation, however mathilde and her team completed ignored this on two occasions and just scheduled over and did not ask us what time we would want them to book a train etc to accomodate our time. we also reminded them of these pre booked items and to check in with us but they never did. However, when they did double book us, they were accomodating to try to rebook which was nice.
- lastly, mathilde reccomended 2.5 days in the small village reims, in hind sight we wish we only did a day trip as it is really limited what to do in the smaller towns. Now that is kind of a shame on us as we should have trusted less and done our own research and insisted a revised schedule. As well, we currenlty live in a big city with much to do so that may have jaded our view of the town. But overall they were accomodating when we asked to change things.

Our 8-day trip to Switzerland was awesome. Through their local travel partner, the kimkim team pulled together a great itinerary that hit many of the must-see spots in the country (and in Switzerland, it's hard to go wrong because every site / sight is postcard worthy). Their very detailed itinerary worked perfectly, and allowed us to be in charge of our destiny every day...we really liked that. In addition to specific planned activities, kimkim provided suggestions for a range of other activities and restaurants in each destination...really helpful.

With one exception, the hotels they selected were terrific, especially the more authentic ones in Grindelwald (Romantik Hotel Schweizerhof) and Zeramatt (Hotel Alpenhof). That said, our first hotel in Zurich was terrible...far from the 5-star we requested (we'll take some of the hit on this hotel because prior to travel we didn't dive into guest reviews...if we had we would have said something).

The highlight of the tour was a 6-hour E-bike tour with a group called Flying Wheels in Interlaken. The bikes were top notch, the route we rode was stunningly beautiful, and our guide George (so much fun and so knowledgeable about Switzerland) was the very best. The other star of the show was our 8-day Swiss Rail Pass...we had unlimited use of the country's outstanding rail system that is the best we've ever experienced.

Even though our trip went off without a hitch, here's a small suggestion...it might be nice for the local tour operator to check in on their guests mid-trip. We had a 24-hour emergency contact number and never felt exposed but that human touch is always good.
