Valeria Lazzarini

I was born in Ancona, a beautiful coastal city overlooking the Adriatic Sea, and today I live in the Italian Alps, surrounded by the stunning scenery at the foot of Monte Rosa and just a short distance from Milan and the iconic northern lakes.

Travel has been a constant thread in my life—I’ve explored Italy from region to region and journeyed far beyond its borders—but my greatest passion has always been discovering the soul of a place through its landscapes, its flavors, and the people who bring it to life.

As a travel specialist,I’m passionate about discovering the soul of each place through its landscapes, flavors, and cultural heritage, and I love sharing these treasures with travelers. As a travel specialist, I design journeys that reveal the authentic essence of Italy—immersive local experiences, extraordinary food and wine, breathtaking nature, and the timeless beauty of our museums, ancient sites, villages, and architectural masterpieces.

My goal is to craft itineraries that feel meaningful, seamless, and deeply memorable—helping you experience the Italy I love, in all its beauty.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specialize in the whole of Italy, and over the years I’ve explored the country widely, personally trying many of the experiences I now recommend. From cultural tours in Italy’s great cities to wine tastings, cooking classes, scenic hikes, and authentic encounters with local producers and artisans, I love creating itineraries that reveal the real essence of each region.

If you’re looking for more unique and off-the-beaten-path itineraries, especially in Piedmont, where I live, or in my home region of Le Marche, I’m the right person to guide you. These are areas I know deeply, filled with hidden gems, incredible landscapes, and unforgettable food and wine traditions that I’m always excited to share."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I’ve loved traveling since I was young, especially the joy of planning every detail and uncovering the hidden places that make a destination unforgettable. In my previous career, I often traveled across Italy for work, moving from region to region and discovering how different landscapes, traditions, and flavors shape the heart of my country. Those journeys made me fall in love with Italy even more deeply.

At some point, it became clear to me: I didn’t just want to explore Italy—I wanted to help others experience its beauty the way I had. Becoming a travel specialist felt like a natural step, turning a lifelong passion into a way to share the most authentic and soulful side of Italy with travelers from around the world."

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"One of the most unforgettable experiences of my life was spending 15 days inside the Grand Canyon on a kayak expedition. Being surrounded by those immense red walls, paddling through silence broken only by the river, and sleeping under skies filled with stars made me feel completely connected to nature in a way I had never felt before. Every bend of the canyon revealed a new shape, a new color, a new emotion—like watching the Earth tell its own story.

After that, I explored more of the American Southwest and was completely fascinated by how nature sculpts its own breathtaking monuments. It’s a journey that continues to inspire me and the way I design meaningful, nature-driven travel experiences."
