Remember the feeling you get when you're about to take off on a plane? That buzz of excitement and a hint of adventure? That’s what got me hooked on travel. And guess what? I want to share that same awesome feeling with you.
By the time I was 22, I had already traveled a lot around Europe. I have a special love for the Nordic countries—places like Sweden, Norway, and Iceland. Why? There's something really cool about their unpredictable weather. It makes the sunny days even better, and when it's not so great, it’s a fun challenge to find other awesome things to do.
Driving is my go-to way to get around when I travel. Trust me, you get to see so much more this way. You can stop wherever you want, maybe at a place that's not in the guidebooks but is just as stunning. These little detours often turn out to be the best parts of a trip!
Also, are you the type to take a lot of photos, or do you like to really dig into the local culture? How about both? I think a great trip gives you a chance to take amazing pictures and also lets you learn about and enjoy the place you’re in.

"I love hiking and exploring my surroundings. From nature to cities, from rivers to lakes and seas. I like to experience as much as possible when I travel, hence my list of to-do's usually is quite long!"
How did you get involved in travel?
"So how did I start traveling? A friend of mine suggested a trip to Thailand back in 2018. That was all it took. Now, I’m always thinking about my next trip. There’s always something on the horizon!"

"One of my favorite places ever is the Faroe Islands. It's like stepping into a different world. The hikes there are tough but the views are 100% worth it. Booking a trip with Kimkim was easy. Veronika was fantastic and her recommendations were all spot on. One special shout out to our private tour guide in Stockholm: Gunnar. He is fantastic. Extremely knowledge, great sense of humor, and very friendly. We never felt rushed during the tour. He patiently answered all our question (and we have lots of questions!).

Rooms are spacious and contemporary yet warm and homey. Located within walking distance to various points of interest in town. Only 15min from airport by car. Underground parking with charging stations is very nice. The breakfast is fantastic.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.

2 min walk from the Stockholm City train station, which made our trip to and from airport, Sigtuna, etc a breeze.
The decor in our room was modern (we booked a suite since we are a family of 4 with 2 small children). The included buffet breakfast was great. The entire staff at the hotel was friendly, professional, and helpful. Check in process was easy and quick. The on-line check took mere minutes.
We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

2 min walking distance from the central train station. A few minutes of walking would get you to various bus/tram stops/stations.

Easily the highlight of our trip to Lulea. Definitely recommend driving the sled yourself. Beautiful scenery. These dogs are powerful! The guides were friendly and very attentive.

So glad we booked this tour. Our guide, Gunnar, was so knowledgeable, friendly, and has a great sense of humor. The pace was leisure and yet we took in a lot of site and learned a great deal about Stockholm. Because of this tour, we got so much out of our trip than if we just went with a DIY approach.

We stayed at Alda hotel (awesome location for walking around the city) and the restaurant (Brass Kitchen) there was also great and convenient for the final dinner before we left. My sister and I spent a few fabulous hours at the Sky Lagoon which I will never forget…topped off by a gorgeous sunset! The Golden Circle tour was simply awesome…The Perlan museum was also a highlight with an incredible 360° observation deck and rotating cafe. Priceless memories with my parents who are in their 80s but still enthusiastic about new experiences. I will return to this amazing country again someday, hopefully with my young adult sons!! So much more to see and do but we were so grateful for all the experiences we had, the lovely people, the phenomenal scenery, the sunny weather!!

There was so much to see and do on this tour. I honestly wasn't really looking forward to the tomato farm but it ended up being an awesome experience. Yummy burrata salad and Bloody Mary!
