- Do I need a 4WD vehicle? The short answer: yes. If you're visiting Monteverde or the South Pacific region, 4WD is needed—the roads aren't always paved, and 4WD is especially essential in the wet months.
- What about GPS? Using GPS is essential. Costa Rica has no formal addresses, so having the exact coordinates is vital.

Every single person that worked at our resort, Aquas Claras, was wonderful. We loved Dani & Jose at the front desk. The people at the restaurants & bars were awesome too. (Jazmin, Ariet, Jefferson, Fray, Leandro) Our resort offered yoga & massages. It was all so amazing! The house where we stayed was private & beautiful!
This is so wonderful to hear, thank you! 🙌 Aguas Claras is such a special property, and it sounds like the team there really made your stay.
That kind of warm, attentive hospitality is exactly what makes a place feel like more than just a resort.
So glad you had such a relaxing and beautiful experience. We hope to send you on another amazing trip soon! 🎉
