This was a nice hotel, set in a very convenient location for walking around Helsinki. It is a smaller hotel, but the room was quite adequate.

A very nice hotel in a great setting in Turku.

The sleeper cabins with private bathrooms are extremely small for two people! You barely have room to do anything in the room or the bathroom.

This is an amazing hotel! The room was incredibly spacious, and staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was incredibly eclectic! We loved it!

We enjoyed a really nice hike through a forested nature area.

The guide was very knowledgeable, and gave us a nice mix of historical information as well as local cultural information.

This was a nice tour, but not quite what I thought I was getting. I thought we would get out of the vehicle more to see incredible sights. I didn’t realize that most of the time would be spent in the vehicle because it takes so long to complete the Ring Road.

This was a fun, amazing, mostly moderate hike, and it had some nice viewpoints.

The Fatbike made the ride so comfortable and easy. The reindeer farm experience we great.

We enjoyed the campfire and whole experience.

This mostly involves picking blueberries to make juice.

We had a great canoe experience that included our ability to look at a solar eclipse.

Chic decor. Great location. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Great way to spend last night in Finland

Hotel Haven in Helsinki was wonderful. The hotels throughout the trip were excellent, and the breakfast buffets were incredible, offering a great way to sample Finnish cuisine. The accommodations were comfortable and added to the overall positive experience of the trip.

The bike ride followed by a visit to the public sauna was a wonderful experience, especially for someone like me who hadn't been on a bike in years and was initially nervous. Our guide Olga was incredibly calm, kind, and patient, which helped me feel comfortable and enjoy the ride. The public sauna was a new and somewhat intimidating experience, but the whole process was fascinating and memorable. I highly recommend this activity for those who might be hesitant about biking or trying a Finnish sauna.

The overnight bear watching experience was truly unique and adventurous. We saw two bears and many other wildlife, which was amazing. However, the experience was a bit challenging and stressful, especially for older travelers like us. The cabin was stuffy, and we had to remain very quiet, which was hard to fully understand beforehand. Also, the lack of cell phone coverage and the uncertainty about the pickup time added some anxiety. Despite these challenges, it was a memorable and worthwhile experience, but I would suggest better preparation and clearer information for future travelers.

The midnight sun photography tour was an amazing and surreal experience. We were out at around 1:30 AM, and even though it was late, it was not dark because of the midnight sun and a full orange moon rising. Walking on the boardwalks over marshy areas filled with blueberries was eerie but beautiful. The guide made a campfire with birch wood and grilled Finnish sausages, which was a lovely touch. We got some great photos, including professional ones from the photographer, which made the experience even more special.

The canoe trip in Lapland was a peaceful and breathtaking experience. We were out in the middle of a large lake with no other people around, which made it feel very serene and mind-blowing. It was a great way to connect with nature and enjoy the pristine wilderness of Finland.

A beautiful old town charm

The location is fantastic but the hotel has 5 bldgs all on the same old street. The ONLY BLDG which has a lobby is the main one where the reception is. It has a restaurant across the main bldg which serves as a beer garden during the evening. Extremely noisy if you stay in one of the bldgs close by. The restaurant for breakfast is excellent. Most of the bldgs they assign to you DO NOT have elevators.they don’t tell you this when you check in. I asked for a high floor so they gave it to me upon checking in not fleeing me I am in a separate building without an elevator. Upon asking the front desk they responded I should have known!. The room was above the noisy rest where music was on until 2 am. I would think twice before staying there again..

Clear cut modern hotel. With everything you need. The restaurant for breakfast is clean spacious and elegant, it has everything you need.warm and pleasant staff

One of the most beautiful places on this trip. Quite serene and simply elegant . The dinner at the restaurant is top notch. Breakfast unfortunately starts at 8:30 which is late for early risers. The manager was willing to accommodate me for a 7:30 room service but the kitchen was not prepared and I received it 30 minutes late. It would have not been an issue but I had preplanned a guide and driver picking me up. I suggest to staff to open early to accommodate the guests.

Our guide Kristo Parne is very good. He is polite knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend him

Beautiful scenery although the guide’s English could be better. She was not very talkative and didn’t know much of the history. It was a very long walk of 12 kms.

The guide was fantastic. Unfortunately I forgot her name but she was very knowledgeable of the history and architecture. She went the extra miles to accommodate me and walked extra time to see a very different area of the city

Rolanda was one of the best guides. Pleasant fluent in English very knowledgeable in her history .

Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant had great choices when we didn't go out for dinner. The room was clean and comfortable.

The apartment was really nice. We didn't expect 2 full bathrooms, a nice addition since we were traveling with our adult son. The primary bedroom was roomy and the bathroom nicely setup. Our only issue was the pre move-in process, which we had to complete more than once as our data submitted before we left the US wasn't there when we needed to get our keys. We also found it difficult to find some information, and luckily our travel agent stayed in touch with us to guide us and get the info we needed.

Our guide was Ruslan. He took us all around the center of Helsinki, meeting us where expected at the train station and then ending the tour with recommendations for authentic food! He was knowledgeable and fun to talk to, including my brother and his wife who were in Helsinki at the same time although not touring with us for the duration of our vacation. He planned the tour to meet our request to show us the history, which we learned was not as many years as that of other parts of the country, being the capital only about 200 years.

Riina was our guide and despite a constant drizzle, she showed us the old city of Rauma. We wandered the narrow streets, saw lace being made by a small shop run by women who do this all by hand, toured a small church and saw many old buildings that explained the history of the old town.

Our guide was Christopher Robert. We liked our tour so much we referred my brother and his wife, who were in Tallinn a few days after our trip there, to him. Christopher took us to many different areas of the town, which we didn't realize had such a mix of old and new. We navigated a meeting of heads of state which blocked some streets but didn't interfere with our walking, very different from the US security around such events. We loved that Christopher shared his background including time in the US, and how that played into the tour and his expertise on the places he showed to us.

Liked our time in Tampere with Peter but the tour was laid out oddly so we lost some time in getting around via bus and tram. Being at each of the 3 towers gave us a great opportunity to see different areas of Tampere. It made less sense to us that we went from our hotel, across town via tram to tower #1, a long walk back to the observation from a hotel only a block from where we started, then a bus ride to tower #3 at the amusement park. That bus ride was so long because lots of riders were going to the park and traffic was backed up. Each location was good to see, and the walk across town gave us a feel for the city, but the transport took away from the experience.

Laura from Magni Mundi was our guide for a 5 hour walk and lunch throughout Turku. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the town, and the current conditions. We liked how she blended history with today.

SO SO much fun. Quintos was our guide. He shared his story of being an environmentalist and working to show the national forests in both the Helsinki and Lapland areas to folks like us. He really loved showing us where all the goodies (fruits/berries/mushrooms) would soon be growing, making our lunch of salmon soup, and walking through different areas of the forest. He seemed extremely knowledgeable.
