Moonika met us on arrival in Tallinn to make sure we arrived safely and even gave us a lovely gift! Everything went very smoothly with our trip, we had a great time and all the accommodations/trips were of a high standard. We will definitely return to Estonia/Latvia, beautiful countryside and nature, nice temperatures too. Moonika was always available if we had questions, which was reassuring, but we had no real problems.
I would highly recommend Moonika, she clearly knows her country well and looked after our needs as a family. Thanks Monnika!

The trip was great in all regards. We have already recommended Kimkim and Moonika to friends.
Kimkim was responsive to multiple changes in our planning and booking.
Moonika was always avaialble as issuess arose as they always do on a trip involving 9 people from multiple locations.
In our case, changes were necessitated by cancelation of flights by Discover Airlines (we would not use again).

High points included shoe bogging, food markets, Art Nouveau tour and the museums that describe the Jewish communities and the occupations.

The guides were excellent with regard to knowledge, general friendliness and sensitivity to the needs to the group.
Exceptional among the guides (apologies for spelling): Marilyn, Ilse, Janis, Christina, Svetlana and Yolanda.

I reached out to Kimkim to get assistance with designing a disc-golf focused trip to Finland in the Summer of 2025. I had the pleasure or working with Emerson, who was able to take my idea (start with the Professional Disc Golf World Championships in Tampere/Nokia, then travel Southern Finland playing the best courses in the world) and turn it into a reality. He took the time to understand what exactly it was I wanted to see and do, where and how I wanted to travel, and he put it all together so perfectly! It was the easiest trip I've ever had to plan. Emerson took care of everything, so that all I had to do was step off the plane and follow the itinerary. The accommodations were great and well-located so we had easy access to saunas, nature and local sites, we had good food all along the way, the rental car was perfect, and the recommended (non-disc golf) excursions were always well-worth it. Professional drivers showed up in very nice cars when expected, even a little early. Emerson kept in contact with me by e-mail before and several times during my trip to assure things were going smoothly. I felt extra safe and secure in the knowledge there was someone I could call any time of the day or night during my trip. Thank you Kimkim and Emerson for making this trip a dream-come-true!

Our trip was generally flawless, and full of fun surprises and adventures. We particularly loved the accommodations (w/fantastic views and close or accessible to hiking trails). The boutique hotels all had fantastic locations, either in historic centers which made it easy to access cultural/historic sites & great restaurants, and/or with phenomenal views of our surroundings (particulary in Pyha, Levi and Kispiljarvi). Our connections vis a vis the drivers were always on time (or early!), and very friendly/warm and willing to share tips, experiences and recommendations for what to do, where to go/what to see and where to eat. We loved the kayaking and mountain biking! Our "private" guide hikes were terrific, as the guides adjusted to our quick pace, and were both fun and information..loved the forest picnics w/the guides, as well as foraging for wild berries and mushrooms.

This hotel was possibly our biggest surprise, as we had an entire "condiminimum" size room (and the entire resort) to ourselves. The room overlooked the beautiful lake and was equipped with a full kitchen, living area and sauna. The staff were amazing (even though we were the only ones there) and could not do enough for us! The views from our bedroom/unit were spectacular, and the resort was an easy walk to some gorgeous hiking.

THis is more of a winter resort, so it's very quiet in the summer, but super clean and comfortable..everything you need to prepare meals in your unit, and very new!

Gauja National Park's Hike

we had a fantastic guide who kept us on our toes with a wonderfully fast paced hike. We enjoyed a picnic aside the river, and then hiked a route on our own back to meet her at the car (alongside the river). Enjoyed seeing caves and a few small waterfalls, and despite a little light rain in the beginning of the day, the sun came out and the hikes were stunningly beautiful.

Best part of this hike was the berry picking and the picnic at the lake. The pace (given group dynamics) was slower and shorter than we would have preferred given the distance we traveled from Helsinki to the hike location. The guide however was FANTASTIC and did a great job despite the slowness of some of the hikers....we enjoyed her immensely, and the company of the other hikers. Just a little too short and slow for our liking.

We have worked with Kim Kimfor multiple trips and Moonika has planned the last several for us. She has come to understand our requirements and expectations as travellers (as a couple and a family with grown children) and we count on her to find unexpected and different itineraries that allow us to really experience new countries. This trip was no exception. Yes, we visit the capital cities - but Moonika ensures we explore the hidden gems and little towns with guides who (for the most part) fit our style of learning and interacting. Even the drivers she finds are pretty great. Moonika was available when we needed her and stayed in touch with us to be sure all was okay. She is truly a professional.

What a great way to see a countryside. The ride itself was perfect. Great, professional captain who made everyone feel safe and comfortable. The drivers to and from the take off site were not super friendly and didn't speak with any of us which was too bad.

Our guide (Dov) was very informative, friendly and full of energy. She took the time to explain many cultural aspects related to food, people, art and history. Her communication style was friendly and warm.

This is at least our third trip that Moonika has organized. She is amazing. Each trip keeps getting better and better. We visited Lithuania and Latvia and loved it. Moonika arranged for us to stay in and experience a list of cities that otherwise we woud never have known about. Kuldiga is a great example. I love this place so much that I am thinking seriously about buying a place there. The balloon ride was to die for. Moonika is the best. She follows up on details. She stays in touch during the trip making sure everything is top notch. We travel far more than most and so we appreciate good agency and Moonika is the best.

The design was amazing, but there was ZERO interaction with the hotel staff. My wife and I are very self-sufficient travelers so we don't need interaction, but this was sort of ridiculous. Btw, we LOVED Kulidiga. The stay was just good. Not amazing.

Our trip to Lithuania was perfect. Everything was arranged perfectly and Moonika was able to really provide us with an experience in every city that was tailored so well to our preferences. Our transportation was always punctual and very friendly. Our tours were amazing. Virginija gave us an amazing history lesson while showing us all the sites in Old Town Vilnius that were absolutely beautiful and so full of history and meaning. Beatrice was so delightful during our beer tour of Vilnius. She has so much knowledge of the local beer scene and all the different breweries. She was an absolute delight. Jolanda gave as such a great history lesson about Trakia castle along with a delightful boat ride around the lake. The kibiniai were so tasty. The history of the Karaitis people who were invited to live in the town and practice their own language and religion was fascinating. The hill of crosses was so beautiful and Kestutis did a great job of giving us the best plan of viewing everything along with a great ride from Vilnius to Sauliai in his new car - gorgeous. Mindaugas in Klaipeda and in the Curonian spit was a font of knowledge and so interesting. Neringa rounded off the trip by giving us such an amazing look into the history and culture in Kaunas on an amazing walking tour for the ages. Truly, truly enjoyed everything and everything was a well oiled machine. All of our transportation was spot on!!
