Amazing trip to such a gorgeous country. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our entire trip was. We traveled with a 5 year old, 10 year old and 14 year old. Frpm the moment our flight arrived into Brazil, we were greated at the airport with friendly staff who made us feel safe and comfortable. We traveled to Rio de Janeiro, Foz, Manaus and the Amazon Rainforest. Sara was amazing at customizing an once in a lifetime vacation for my family that allowed us to see the most amazing sites of Brazil from Christ the Redeemer to the Iguazu Falls and topped off by a unique stay at a 5 star ecolodge lodge in the Amazon Rainforest. I greatly appreciate how Sara was able to customize our travel requests so that we were able to accomplish all the activites that our hearts desired. She worked hard to coordinate and customize our hotel requests and made sure our travel was as seamless as possible. Our tour guides spoke English and were very patient with our whole family . Jess was such a sweet, caring and flexible tour guide. My children greatly enjoyed her througout the tour and we loved listening to her own music. In the Amazon, Nelson was such an amazing guide, he made sure we all were able to see and experience the wonders of the beautiful Amazon rainforest from hiking and learning about the wonders of the forest to piranha fishing and to caimen spotting and petting. I cannot say enough amazing things about how much we appreiate your travel team. We had a large gap in the ages of our children and a ton of dietary restrictions (Celiac (gluten free), Tree Nut allergy, a vegetarian and two meat-eaters) and our trip from the start to the end was perfect. My daughter even found two fully Gluten Free restaurants in Brazil that are her new favorites.

Both Wanessa and Bruno were incredibly generous and friendly people. They cared if we were enjoying the tour and always checked to see if we needed more time at the different locations. They advised about places to eat and looked after our wellbeing at all times. Communicating in English was easy with them. Excellent, excellent! Our wonderful tour guides were just like having local friends in Rio. I don't know what we would have done without them. They made sure that everything ran smoothly, organized activities for us that we thought of at the last minute and did some heavy duty problem solving - such as when my wife discovered she had left her medication at our hotel just as we arrived at Rio airport for our next destination. Thank-you KimKim, thank-you Renata and many thanks to Bruno and Wanessa, our lovely tour guides. I highly recommend your services, and I have left Brazil with very warm feelings.

From the beginning to the end the planning and execution of our trip exceeded expectations. Our local specialist Renata was responsive and very helpful. Our guide, Felipe, was very thoughtful and very knowledgeable. He took care of the smallest details (booster seat for a child) and personalized the tour with our interests in mind. He was very responsive and quickly changed plans after an unexpected schedule change. Our favorite stops - Samba School, Christ the Redeemer, and the Botanical Garden. We also enjoyed Little Africa and the Selaron steps.

All three guides (Luis in Rio, Lillian in The Pantanal, and Orico in Iguazu) were stunningly good.

Renata was great at providing various updates through the planning process, and dealing with some changing schedules.
But we ended up doing a lot of the work that we thought a travel agent would assist with. For example, we often found the better way to travel throughout the country and which flights to take instead of relying on her. Also in the past travel specialists have provided us with "must do" things or provided more guidance, and we were kind of left to do a lot of that ourselves.

Further, there were some things - like making sure water bottles were in the cars - were completely overlooked.

We had an unforgettable experience on our recent Brazilian adventure. Our itinerary was brilliantly put together by Bruno who understood our wish to experience Brazil's rich biodiversity and spend time in gorgeous landscapes alongside a trip to Rio for a wedding celebration. From Iguacu Falls to the Pantanal, to Paraty and Ilha Grande via Rio, all our hotels and lodges were well-located and our activities and transfers perfectly chosen and well-timed. A special shout out to all our amazing guides - Joao Luiz, Eluza and Luiz - and their incredible knowledge, who made this such a memorable trip. The staff at The Jungle Lodge in Pantanal helped us enjoy our stay with them showing an amazing ability to spot even the smallest of animals and providing us plenty of food to keep us going.

This is one of the best adventure holidays I've ever been on, we were celebrating 50th, 40th and 25th milestones. We left all the itinerary planning to kim kim, Sara was very informative kept us updated she understood our budget and all the things we'd like to do. Once we handed in Brazil everything went exactly as the itinerary said completely seamless we had Rio de janeiro, Foz Do Iguazu and the Amazon Rainforest on the plan. So had 7 internal flights. All airport transfers were on time and the vehicles provided was enough for the luggage we had. We had 3 tour guides Alberto in Rio, Marcelo in Foz and Fortunato in the Amazon Rainforest. I would give all three 5 star rating as they were very friendly and were very informative.

I can’t speak highly enough about my experience with KimKim for our trip to Brasil. Sara was fantastic with communicating with us throughout the booking process, she provided a number of different itineraries and tweaked them to our liking and budget.

The trip it’s self was stress free and fantastically organised, all guides (Alberto, Rio - Marcelo, Foz - Fortunato, Manaus/Amazon), the fact that we had a 24/7 support contact (Thiago) was very reassuring. I was able to speak with Thiago when preparing for our various transfers and he was able to coordinate with our drivers efficiently. The additional experiences/excursions offered to us throughout the trip were also fantastic, truly can’t recommend KimKims services enough!

We had a fantastic trip. Renata did an excellent job planning our Brazil trip which include visiting the Amazon, Iguazu Falls (both sides) and time in Rio. We loved our stay at Turtle Lodge in the Amazon and both our guides for Iguazu Falls and Rio were great. All our airport pick ups and drop offs went great as well. We hope to visit Brazil again. The trip to Brazil more than met our expectations. We had a few glitches from weather and airline delays, but KimKim was great about rescheduling. I cannot remember the names of our guides, but all were great. The Rio guide was able to work around rain and clouds so we eventually got to see the Christ statue and Sugarloaf. The guide at Iguacu Falls was terrific, making sure we got to see everything. We spent four days at Turtle Lodge in the Amazon. This was amazing !! Finally we only got to spend one afternoon in Salvador because of a flight cancellation, but the guide made sure we got the full experience. We were met at the airports with no problems at all and our hotels were very nice. All in all, a great trip !! I give Sara lots of credit for putting it all together and being able to adjust our schedules as needed. We certainly will be using KimKim for future travels.

The whole trip was memorable, in such small space of time we managed to cram in so much largely down to the planning by our local specialist Camille.
All transfers were a breeze and visiting local attractions with the guide meant we skipped queues and maximised out time and overall enjoyment.
I would definitely recommend kim kim and will be using them again for our next trip.

Rooms were clean and spacious and ideal to lounge in during the evening, shame they did not have smart TVs but there was a large section of free channels. Considering this was in the Amazon the lodge was amazing. Staff were amazing and super helpful and had fun with google translate to communicate some of the conversations. We were really well looked after, the food was tailor made for my wife as she was a vegetarian. Rooms were clean and comfortable and given the location you have to expect some bugs, we had fun with 2 tree frogs in the room, but they were harmless. AC unit in the room was a god send as even thought there was no wifi or tv in the room it was fine as all the activities planned throughout the day meant we were on the go most the time.

Had an excelled guide and she knew all the tricks to skip the queues which meant we maximised our time at Sugar Loaf. Having a drink and some nibbles on the terrace bar was amazing as the views were spectacular ...shame it was misty as we did not get to see the sunset but you can imagine it would be spectacular. Renata was super helpful and very responsive. She was very good, and a pleasure to deal with in setting things up. A big thank you to her!!

The hotels were good, and very much inline with what I had asked for. That worked well. I am happy with the quality of the hotels given the quality/star level I requested. They fit the bill and were what I wanted and needed.

The logistics and information about contacting guides, and WhatsApp info was great, and very helpful in staying connected with guides.

The guides were all satisfactory to very good. It varied. Their English was all very good, and so there was no communication problem. Orico Soni Machado was fine to ok in Foz. He did was was needed, but he was busy preparing to leave on a personal trip the next day, and seemed distracted by that. He did though get me to the helicopter excursion, and that worked well; he clearly knew the area. His nephew helped to the final transfer to the airport, and helped me get boarding passes; he was responsive and communicative. Orico was fine, but I think he was ready for his personal trip the next day. The use of a group tour for the Argentine side worked very well, and the local guide, I've forgotten his name, did a fine if outstanding job keeping us moving and keeping track of us. This also kept costs down, and did not need to be a private trip. Good decision on that.

The best guide was Rocco Belletti. He also did both transfers to and from Paraty. He was very kind, and helped me understand Brazil, and gave me much information in general about his time as an immigrant to Brazil from Italy. He was top notch. He also gave me great recommendations on restaurants, and food to try and enjoy. He also went above and beyond and recommended a free Samba concert in Paraty. This ended up being one of the highlights of my entire trip because it was so nontouristic and filled with locals.

In Rio, Patricia was very professional, and did her absolute best to keep me safe and interested. She was very protective as I mentioned my concerns about safety. In my one free half day, things were fine, but I almost had my cell phone stolen from my shirt pocket on a street with people on it, during daylight. I only mention this to make you aware of this as Rio clearly remains a semi dangerous city. There is nothing Patricia could have done differently, and she was not on this half free day. It was after the group tour to Sugarloaf and Cristo the Redeemer. Again, it was a good decision to do those as group tours, and there would be no advantage to do those privately. The transfer to the airport was fine, on time and safe.

Overall, however, the private tours in both Paraty and Rio just seemed to lack something. They were only ok, and not terrifically interesting. In particular, the gold tour in Paraty just did not seem to have much of a point other than a short hike, the tasting at the end was rather perfunctory, and not super interesting. In addition, the Rio tours were ok, but I guess I did not learn too too much, but I did get good photos. Maybe I was expecting too much, but the private tours, though I did see what was advertised in the trip information I was given, just seemed uninspired. Not sure if I would not have been better off with more group, public tours to different areas rather than private tours in those two areas.

Lastly, the travel book info packet was very helpful having all the info in one place and in one document. It was very well organized and had all the info I needed in an organized fashion. Thank you Renata for that, and answering all my questions.

The trip was seamless and easy as KimKIm Travel set all in motion based on all of our needs and desires. Guides awaited us at every leg of our journey. Renata planned a great trip. We absolutely adored Bruno, our guide in Rio. He was kind, caring of our needs, and surpassed any expectations we might have had. The Availhanas lodge in the Amazon was amazing. The staff, particularly Pedro and Kenrick (one of our guides) went over and above any of our expectations.....The iguazu falls were spectacular and then we ended with our last day back with Bruno. An overall perfect trip -

We had a wonderful trip to Brazil. Sara is very helpful, resourceful and incorporated all the requests we had for this trip. As this was a trip to visit Brazil and attend a family wedding, we had to take multiple flights in Brazil and all the arrangements were so nicely arranged. We had no issues from the airport to hotel, all the hotel reservations were very good. We had a wonderful tour guide in Rio who showed us around beautiful beaches and old Rio with so much of culture.
We have already recommended our friends to go through KimKim travels and talk to Sara. We had a transportation issue at the wedding and Sara's team helped us resolve it with one phone call from me. We so much appreciate Sara to help us and enjoy our entire stay!!!!

Trip and service was excellent. We were greeted at the airport by taxi driver with our name on a board, helped with our cases to the transport and driver to each Hotel.
