As you bike along the trail, you'll enjoy scenes of nature interwoven with interesting history, passing sites such as the Villas Rubin tourist resort, Valbruna, Palud, and Stancija Milić.A highlight of the trail includes carved stones at Muntravo Quarry, offering you a glimpse of the area's Venetian past. You'll then pass through Cuvi Bay and quickly understand why it's one of the locals' favorite spots for swimming. Next, cycle along Roman ruins and discover the natural beauty of Palud Ornithological Reserve, home to at least 220 bird species. Although you can't ride your bike within the reserve, you'll have time to walk around and observe birds.You'll also pass a few churches along the way, including the 12th-century Church of St. Nicholas and the 15th-century Madonna di Campo (St. Mary of the Fields) Church. Rovinj's archipelago consists of more than 20 large and small islands and islets. Your skipper will set sail and lead you through the islands sprouting off the coast of Rovinj, which stretch from the Cape of St. Ivana at the entrance to Lim Fjord, past Rovinj, and all the way south to the settlement of Barbariga.
