Location fantastic near the acropolis. Many restaurants/cafes were a short walk away. Rooms were small but efficient. Water pressure was amazing and A/C worked like a champ. Major downside was the small elevator (3 people max) making it hard to move luggage up/down the 6 floors. Lobby was dark all the time and not exactly inviting. Staff were nice and housekeepers did a great job.

Just know that this is more of an apartment building rather than a traditional hotel. However it was perfect for us because we didn't need the amenities of a traditional hotel (gym, lobby, public spaces, etc.) We had two small apartments for our family of three--very neat and clean with everything we needed (*except I could have used a magnifying mirror for makeup). Breakfast was large and delicious with everything we could ask for. The hotel (owner?) Mariana took care of our every need, including some medicine for a stomach ache, extra blankets and early morning breakfast when we had an early transfer. Also the neighborhood is nice with a short walk to the Acropolis and many good cafes.

This hotel is in a cute, laid back beach town about a 10-15 minute drive to Naxos Hora. We loved the location, just steps from a beautiful beach with many cafes. You can rent sunbeds with umbrellas on the beach for about 10-15 Euros, and the cafes will bring you food and drinks. We also enjoyed walking to the beach cafes for coffee and breakfast every morning. Naxos was definitely the highlight of our trip. We would have liked a magnifying mirror in the bathrooms for makeup. The rooftop pool is nice.

First the good parts. The view from this hotel is stunning. The staff is super friendly. However, we felt that the location wasn't great. It's on a super busy road and there is no place to walk to from the hotel. It's a 20 minutes outside of the closest town, Fira, which was our least favorite part of the whole trip. Fira is busy with cruise ship tourists and it was filthy dirty with trash overflowing the trash cans and all over the streets. Streets are mostly T-shirt/postcard shops and fast food joints. Oia is a slightly better choice of city, with a bit nicer shops and restaurants, but it's 30 minutes and 40-50 Euros cab fare away from the hotel. Also, the hotel is filled with large busloads of tourists and honeymooners. Not a great choice for our family of three including our 17 year old daughter. There wasn't one other kid at the hotel.

Our guide was amazing--super knowledgeable and sweet and attentive to our needs on a hot, busy day at the Acropolis.

Definitely a highlight of our trip. Mary was a truly wonderful guide--we felt like family when we left her. Naxos is just lovely and laid back and authentic. Shops pride themselves on handmade goods (food, art, etc) that have been in families for generations. We tasted Naxos potatoes, oil, honey, wine--all delicious.

Amazing hotel and staff!

Love that we didn't have to deal with a lengthy check in process. We were given simple, easy to follow directions for getting our room key. Hotel staff was quick to respond when we had an issue with a tripped breaker and the power went out in our room. They arrived within about 30 minutes and got it fixed very quickly. Room was very modern and clean. Location was awesome -- close enough to be within walking distance of all major tourist attractions but also in a nicer, quieter location.

The owner of this hotel lived close by and was so nice! She remembered us and always checked in when she saw us. Check in and check out was easy and simple. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint with this hotel is the bathroom -- the floor is made of rocks which is uncomfortable to stand on and the shower is open to the room with no curtain so water gets everywhere even if you are careful.

View from our shared balcony was breathtaking!! We also absolutely loved our breakfast tray each morning. So tasty and authentic. We also loved that we could choose the exact time we wanted our breakfast delivered and that we could eat out on the balcony and soak in the views each morning. One complaint was about the smells sometimes. Light sewage smell...

We loved the breakfast each morning -- very authentic with lots of options for many different hot dishes and sides. The room was beautiful and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved our private balcony. Location was very close to shopping areas, restaurants, and the beach. Check in and check out was fast and easy and they were very helpful with our bags.

Our guide on this tour (Anastasia) was engaging and knowledgeable. Tour was well-paced and interesting for all participants. Tour group size was manageable and not too large.

One of my favorite tours. Our guide (can't remember her name) was so knowledgeable and entertaining for us. She had lots of anecdotes. She did great pointing out good spots to stop and take pictures and didn't make me feel bad for wanting to stop to grab a picture.

Loved the lunch served on board - lots of authentic greek dishes that were very tasty. There were long stretches of time of sailing in the morning and evening but it was very pleasant from the top deck. The islands we visited were beautiful!

Enjoyed our time with the guide Elena and the driver Mario. They made the long drive interesting. I enjoyed seeing this temple very much and the sunset was beautiful!

Loved that we were able to go to less populated areas of the island which definitely made it seem more personal/special. The mines were very interesting to walk through and our guide got some great pictures of us! It was great that he was from Milos and was very knowledgeable about everything/everyone!

We saw some absolutely beautiful sites that we otherwise would not have been able to see on this boat tour which was really fun. Unfortunately the weather was very windy and it was a little chilly that day which had a big impact on our enjoyment of this tour. The morning was a bit stressful as there were several different boat tours all leaving at the same time with different companies and we did not know which one we were supposed to be on for a while as it was a bit of a madhouse. I think this day would have been more enjoyable if the boat cruise was a little shorter. By the end of the day we were worn out and sick of the constant wind/cold. The sea was pretty rough towards the end of the day too. The staff was all excellent and we did have a lot of yummy food. They did the best they could with the weather.

There was misinformation regarding the ferry timing. We were picked up from our hotel at 10:15am to get to the ferry - literally less than 10 minutes from our hotel. We waited for over 40 minutes for the ferry which turned out not to be coming until 12:15pm! Luckily our guide was able to take us to the papafragas caves and talk with us about the history of those while we waited so we had something to do. We had more than 1 hr less in Kimolos than we originally should have had. Additionally - the museums were all closed so we didn't get to visit those. This was our tour guides first time doing the Kimolos tour so there was some confusion about where to go for certain sites which also wasted some time. I did really enjoy walking through the capital city and visiting some shops there. Personally, I would take out the beach time in Kimolos as the beach we went to was pretty rocky and spend more time at the sites unique to Kimolos.

Best parts of the day were the archeological sites and museum. The tour guide for the first part of the day for the ruins and museum unfortunately was hard to understand and seemed to stop to explain stuff in weird locations, but I still enjoyed it. I also really loved the stop in Kamari for individual exploring/shopping. I also loved the look out view point from the highest part of the island. The parts that could use some improvement were the lunch/wine tasting and evening cocktail. I think the time spent at lunch and the cocktail was a bit too long. The view of the sunset for cocktails wasn't as good as I was hoping as well. The food during the lunch was pretty good, however. There were 2 different "beach" stops on the itinerary but it wasn't clear if there was going to be swimming or not so the communication on that end could be improved. Honestly the red beach stop should be removed from the itinerary as the beach is closed and the view is much better from a boat than you can see on land.

The description said "Your breakfast box will be filled with local, homemade goodies: country bread, Brioche, Cake, Biscuits, Honey, Marmalade, Butter, Yogurt with honey and walnuts, Fried egg, Country spinach pie, Juice/Coffee/Milk, Bread Sticks." What we actually got was a stop along the way at a bakery to pick out one pie and one beverage each. That is a big difference! Felt like they should have been prepared with the food already on hand so we wouldn't have to leave as early. Additionally -- I would have expected somewhere nice to sit with comfortable chairs or sun beds to relax and enjoy the morning. Especially since the beach there was fairly rocky so it is uncomfortable to sit/walk on. All we got was a public bench with graffiti on it. It was also awkward that the driver and "guide" were sitting in the car parked right next to us. I felt like we couldn't enjoy the "carefree day on the beach" with them sitting there right next to us waiting the whole time. If we had not done this activity and just had breakfast at our hotel we would have gotten a much better meal with a much nicer view and somewhere comfortable to sit.

This was the perfect length to be able to enjoy sailing, swimming, and the food without growing tired. The weather was on our side for this sailing cruise, wasn't too windy. The dinner was very delicious with several different dishes to try. The staff was excellent and made sure we were all having a good time while also being safe. Only downside was the disembarkation back to the port which was very busy with lots of boats all unloading at the same time at a very small port.

Really enjoyed this tour and our guide Alex. The different tastings were fun and interesting. The highlight for me was the Venetian castle. The dinner was also very delicious at the restaurant. One improvement would be more stops for pictures along the way. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get many that evening.

We both loved this experience getting to see some of the Naxos country side on the way to the farm and pottery workshop. Unfortunately there was no olive oil factory/sampling as was included in the description. The pottery shop was very cool and watching the demonstration of the traditional Naxian designs was amazing! I loved getting to shop around for some unique handmade items to take home with me. We also really enjoyed the meal and learning how to make it as well as seeing all of the farm animals and helping to feed some of them!

Our instructor was very helpful and good at explaining everything we needed to know to be safe in the water. It was fun that she pointed out different sea creatures while we were on the dive.

Nice hotel centrally located. Bed was comfortable and lots of space in my suite. Great experience overall!

I really appreciated the guide and tour. It brought everything to life!

This was such a fantastic tour led by an incredible person - Bianca. It was like touring with a very knowledgeable friend from Athens that I had know for years. The tour sites and food were also outstanding. It is a great way to get a sense of the culture and flavours of the city and country.

Not the best, but not the worst that I have stayed in. Had roaches in our room, TV did. It work, twin beds shoved together is not ideal, breakfast was amazing.

Loved the islands, but the additional tours were not worth the money and guides were not good.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Close to lots of restaurants. Breakfast in the dining room was amazing. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Athens.

Absolutely loved this place! Close to town where we could walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was so nice! Room was clean, comfortable and unique. And the custom scent throughout the hotel was pleasant and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel!

Loved the mattress in the room the best. Blinds closed to make the room dark and slept like a baby!! Pool was awesome. We had a cave style room that was very unique! All amenities were complimentary and replenished daily. The couple we went to Santorini with was in the room next to us and we found that very convenient. Room service breakfast on the patio outside was so nice. The flowers were beautiful. Staff was very nice and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was beautiful. Our room was amazing. Pool and ocean view were breathtaking. I highly recommend this place. It’s off the beaten path, but well worth it.

This Rib Boat tour was my favorite thing out of our entire 2 weeks in Greece. An absolute must!! Ask for Captain Paolo !

A boutique hotel with a direct view of the Acropolis. We spent 4 night in this lovely property. The rooms were fine and the bed was excellent. The breakfast each morning was amazing. A very central location for exploring Athens on foot.

Little to small for us but very clean.

Beautiful day ! Took Chris's recommendations for dinner in Oia. We also rented a car that day and went to a Vineyard which was a lovely experience. Hotel then got a driver for us to bring us into Oia for dinner who was wonderful and waited for us to go back to our hotel.

Most amazing experience ...the beauty of this was unbelievable! Chris arranged an anniversary champagne toast for us which was so meaningful and the whole boat toasted us! The sunset was incredible ! This is a must for all to do !

They were so kind and easy to work with even when we arrived earlier than planned! They let us keep our bags in the baggage room and gave us a ton of recommendations for things to explore in Mykonos before our room was ready. Once we were able to check in we were surprised to hear they upgraded our room! It was so good to stay there!

We had an amazing time at the Afroditi Venus Beach Hotel & Spa during our honeymoon! They left us a note and a bottle of wine for our honeymoon, and it was so good! Honestly the whole time we stayed in Santorini we only ate somewhere that wasn’t the hotel one time, the hotel food was so good and so accessible! The beaches were so beautiful and well maintained, and all the workers were so kind!

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and so fun to be around and learn from!

Our food tour was a very intimate group of people (4) and our tour guide. She was so fun and knowledgeable about all the foods and about Greece! She was able to give us so much information as we walked around the neighborhoods of Athens.

Our day cruise in Greece was so much fun! The staff cooked us a great lunch, and they also created a really fun and relaxing environment while on the cruise. We will always remember this cruise!

We had so much fun on our wine tour with Harry!! Harry did an amazing job showing us Santorini, and the wine part was so fun too!! Harry was very professional but also really fun and showed us so many things around the island. The tour was a good mix of fun and learning!!

This hotel had an industrial vibe. Plenty of space with a terrace and view of the Acropolis. Absolutely stunning, and the staff was amazing.

This hotel made us feel like we were special. The attention we received from staff was unlike anything else I have ever experienced.

The cruise was cancelled due to high winds so we were unable to go on the cruise. KimKim refunded our money.

Fabulous staff that went out of way to help: desk staff, breakfast, and George the lifeguard. Comfortable room with balcony terrace for our lunches. Easy walk to old city. Green and lush surroundings. Only downside was too loud traffic noise. Electric vehicles really needed here! Good spa experience for massage.

Good stuff: really helpful staff, quiet and calm location away from congestion, just a block away from terrific winery with dining, lovely pool area with good views. Good, varied breakfast. Disappointing: small room, only window was the door, which meant difficulty with privacy. A couple of rooms would have better privacy and sea views—on second floor. Shower was small with no closure to keep water from spraying. Sometimes all lounge chairs at pool occupied.

Excellent space and accommodation. Enjoyed the kitchen and spacious terrace. Surprised how noisy it was even on non harbor side throughout the night. Attentive but not intrusive management. Conveniently located to sites and restaurants.

This is a gem of a museum somewhat outside Chania. Excellent displays on history of printing and writing. Interactive.

Superb guide and amazing place. I recommend reading the historical fiction by Mary Renault, The King Must Die.

Rhodes was unexpectedly stunning, our favorite among three islands visited. Nicholas, our guide, was a delight.

We opted to depart following excellent winery lunch (4 pm) as it was long day, and we were staying nearby. Definitely go on day when Prehistoric Museum is included (not Tuesdays) as it is essential to understanding the site, or go on your own as we did. The lost Atlantis experience may be better suited to children. Stellar guide Tanya.

Really enjoyed our guide Ioannis, an appealing and expert individual. Lovely walking tour that uncovered the past as well as more contemporary insights like women’s suffrage in early 20th century.

Bill and John Apartments were styling and adequate. Great walking distances from key places, but not much for views and bathrooms were small with a couple of leaking showers. Hot water was limited. Kitchens were very nice.

Manila Boutique and Suites were a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I had a balcony with a view of the mountains for morning coffee. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. The four adult children and their friends stayed in the villa which was spacious and comfortable. They also had access to a pool and patio, where we all spent many hours having fun and enjoying eachother's company. The decor is lovely, and the staff was friendly, efficient, and very helpful!

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was just a place to stay before our flights home the next day, but turned out to be a wonderful stopover. Tassos booked rooms with a view of the sea and little balconies, which was a real treat! The views were beautiful, and we could smell the salt air and get a nice breeze. We had a short walk to a row of coastal taverna featuring fresh seafood for dining at night. In the morning many in our party had really nice walks on the beach, watching the ferries come and go before our flight. We took the free airport shuttle which was clean, comfortable, and on time.

We loved our driver for most of our time in Athens. He became part of our group, and always had a smile and chilled bottles of water at the ready!
