What you'll do

This half-day excursion starts in Moreton-in-Marsh, where you'll meet your local driver-guide and the rest of your group and set off in a comfortable minibus to reach Diddly Squat Farm Shop—a key filming location for Amazon Prime's Clarkson's Farm. A smash hit in both the US and UK, this original series offers a refreshing look at the realities of farming life, with the comedies and catastrophes of running a working 1,000-acre (400 ha) estate brought to the screen by TV personality Jeremy Clarkson and a memorable cast of local characters.

Depending on the day, you may have time to browse the tiny shop's local produce and pick up items like honeys, seasonal jams, or sourdough breads made with the farm's own wheat. Keep in mind that queues for the main shop can stretch for hours, so you may skip the lines and grab some photos and snacks or souvenirs (not included) from one of the stands outside instead.

The drive continues through the village of Burford next, where you can admire the "gateway to the Cotswolds" before pulling into The Farmer's Dog. Stretch your legs with a stroll and enjoy the far-reaching views as your guide explains how Clarkson's countryside pub works closely with nearby farms to champion independent British producers and traditional farming communities. Food isn't included here, but you'll have time to enjoy your own packed lunch, or grab a drink or a snack at the neighboring Farmer's Puppy food truck.

Get back on the road and continue through the bucolic landscapes of the Windrush Valley to reach your final stop at the Hawkstone Brewery, located on a country road near Bourton-on-the-Water. Learn how Clarkson partnered with master Cotswolds brewer Rick Keene to create a range of lagers, IPAs, pilsners, ales, and stouts using barley grown on the farm, and enjoy a quick pint (not included) or browse the brewery shop (a full brewery tour isn't included) before one last scenic drive back to Moreton-in-Marsh.
