After departing Buenos Aires, you'll journey into the pampas, Argentina's vast grasslands that have shaped the country's ranching traditions for centuries. Your first stop is San Antonio de Areco, a charming colonial town renowned as the heart of gaúcho culture. Stroll its quiet streets, visit a couple of the artisans touting their cowboy-related wares before continuing to Estancia Las Dueñas, a boutique family-run ranch where a warm welcome awaits.

You'll be greeted by the estancia's gaúchos with freshly baked empanadas and a glass of Argentine wine, setting the tone for a relaxed day in the countryside. You'll have the chance to connect with your hosts and gain a deeper appreciation for daily life on a working ranch. Spend time exploring the property, meeting horses and other farm animals, and saddling up for a horseback or horse-drawn carriage ride across the open plains.
