What you'll do

Today, you'll embark on an exhilarating adventure to one of Costa Rica's most beloved attractions – the Nauyaca Waterfalls. Your journey begins with a horseback ride through lush rainforests near Dominical Beach in Manuel Antonio. Over the five-mile (eight-kilometer) ride, your guide will lead you on nature trails abundant with exotic wildlife such as capuchin monkeys, so keep your camera handy!

Upon arrival at the impressive Nauyaca Waterfalls, you'll have a couple of hours to explore and take in the breathtaking views of the falls as they cascade nearly 150 feet (45 meters) into a crystal-clear lagoon. Don't forget to pack your swim gear, as this lagoon is perfect for a refreshing dip. For the more adventurous, there are rock outcroppings around the falls that make for ideal diving spots!

After a fun-filled time at the waterfalls, you'll hop back on your horse and make your way to a traditional lunch prepared by a local woman. Savor the delicious meal and learn more about the culture and cuisine of Costa Rica. With full bellies, you'll begin your horseback ride back to the starting point, filled with cherished memories of your waterfall and rainforest adventure.

Please note that transportation to the starting point is not included but can be added for an additional $190 per group. The activity package includes a knowledgeable guide, lunch, and all necessary equipment.
