What you'll do
Summiting the Eiffel Tower begins with the convenience of skip-the-line tickets, ensuring you spend more time enjoying the experience rather than waiting in a queue (though note there are two security checkpoints you need to clear). You'll begin at the base of the Paris landmark, where you can choose between taking the elevator or, if you dare, climbing the 704 steps up to the second floor.
Once you reach the second floor, you'll transfer to another elevator that will take you the rest of the way and to the top. As you ascend, feel the thrill of moving through the intricate iron structure designed by Gustave Eiffel himself for the 1889 World's Fair. Exiting the lift, you'll have two floors to explore (one indoors, one open-air), both of which treat you to exceptional 360-degree views of the City of Lights and its notable landmarks such as the Seine River, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the Arc de Triomphe. Here, you can also order a glass of Champagne—the highest bar in the city—and visit the recreated office of Gustave Eiffel.
After soaking in the vistas some 906 feet (276 m) high, you can leisurely explore the second and first floors on your way back down. The second floor offers another perspective of views and several shops where you can pick up a souvenir. For those visiting at night, the tower's illumination adds an extra layer of charm from this floor. Then, back on the first floor via the lift or the stairs (a great way to see the interior of the iron structure), you'll find a seasonal terrace, the Madame Brasserie restaurant, a large shop, and a section of the historic staircase.

The summit of the tower was amazing! We climbed some of the stairs but opted for the elevator to the top! Amazing views! Worth the tour for sure!

Must see attraction that was made easy with the advance tickets. Foggy evening was the only detraction from the visit.
