Overview

Combine a walking tour of Valencia's historic Old Town with a 10-course tapas tasting set within the city's 11th-century walls. What you'll do

Valencia offers a mix of history with its Old Town charm and gastronomy with its up-and-coming foodie scene. Enjoy this perfect combo by following a local guide through the city's historic streets and dining on a 10-course tapas menu at the end of the excursion. You'll start by meeting your guide on the corner of Plaça de Sant Jaume and Plaça del Tossa, in front of the pub Unic Daily Goodness. From there, you'll start your walk through the historic city center.

The walking portion of the excursion is about 1.5 hours, weaving through the city's patchwork of architectural styles while learning about its rich history. Stop to admire and discover more about some of the city's most iconic sites, including La Lonja, Plaza de la Virgen, and Mercado Central. You'll also see the Iglesía San Nicolás, known as the "Sistine Chapel of Valencia," thanks to its impressive frescos.

After your walk, head to an exclusive Moorish cave within the city's walls, dating back to the 11th century. Here you'll spend about 2.5 hours enjoying a specialized tapas menu featuring 10 courses, local ingredients, unique techniques, and award-winning wines from the surrounding region.
