Overview
Renaissance Santiago is a contemporary Marriott property in the upscale Vitacura neighborhood, known for its variety of high-end restaurants and shops. This residential area is a favorite of Santiago's wealthiest families, and a stay here gives you the option of exploring this neighborhood or accessing other parts of the city, like the bohemian hub Bellavista or gastronomy-focused Lastarria. Reach downtown Santiago in 40 minutes by public transportation, as the red bus line stops 10 minutes from the hotel, or drive there in just over 10 minutes.
The style of the 181 rooms is bold, modern, and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering clear city and mountain views. The Standard Queen (with a guest room) has two beds to comfortably accommodate four people, while most other rooms are doubles that can fit a cot for an extra person. There are some accessible rooms, too, including the Standard King option. Marble and glass bathrooms include rainfall showers, and both the Governor and Presidential Suites include exposed bathtubs in the room for those who want to soak in a view of the Andes.
Whatever your travel needs are, you can most likely get them met in one of the hotel's facilities. Santiago Renaissance has three restaurants, ranging from Chilean cuisine to a Thai menu at the Sky Bar Ky, which offers a panoramic view of the city from the 16th floor. Sky Bar Ky even has a telescope for those who want a closer look at Santiago. If you're looking to relax, take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool or book a treatment at the spa, which includes a Jacuzzi and massage area.

There was an improvement in the way things were carried out as compared to the first stay. The restaurant was opened to let us have an early breakfast as we had an early pick up for our day tour. We were able to have a late check out and use their other facilities to freshen ourselves before departing for the airport.

Great customer service! When we arrived after a 8 hour flights before check-in time, the front desk suggested us refreshing in the spa and having lunch at the beautiful restaurant. Both ideas were fantastic and helped us settle into our vacation.
