Attentive staff and perfect location to walk around Oslo

Smaller rooms but central - staff was great and helpful

Suggest upgrading to a deluxe room for a little more room. First class bar and breakfast

Well organized and a true inside experience. He knew interesting places and made sure we had a true taste of the local food. Special thanks for accommodating Bev’s food allergies. Deep understanding of history of Norway. Excellent!

Top shelf hike with incredible experience at the pinnacle. It was fairly tough made more difficult with misty rain the entire time. Andi was great and brought very welcomed lunches. Wish we had a clearer day but would do it again.

Not to be missed. A dramatic view of Bergen and the fjords.

No clear plan for the day - said she really didn’t like the city and preferred to take a walk in the forest.

Terrible experience. Despite having reserved many months ahead, we were given rooms on the part of the fourth floor not served by an elevator. Not a great result for older folks. We were not clear why we got the worst rooms in the hotel when we had reserved so far in advance. The attendant, in a tired white undershirt, did not represent the hotel well. The 4th floor rooms were run down and the hottest in the hotel with no way to moderate temperature. Opening hte window was no solution due to noise from the nightlife just outside. While the the hotel is conveniently situated, location doesn;'t overcome the downsides.

Lovely town. Sadly, time to explore was curtailed trying to deal with luggage lost by the airline.

Lovely little glimpse into local culture and economy. Short walk from hotel was lovely.

Our original room had absolutely no view, so we asked if there was a room available with a view. The staff kindly changed our room to the front of the hotel and we then had a delightful view of Bergen! It was lovely to see all of the activities below.

A bit out of the way, but otherwise just fine.

Since we were not interested in a city experience, an afternoon was long enough for us to see the sights.

Food was delicious and interesting. Service was friendly and pleasant.

Beautiful hike! Well worth the 500 + stone steps if you aren’t in a hurry.

Great rib boat ride! Beautiful scenery, knowledgeable and friendly guide. Cheese tasting with the history was great!

It was raining so we had no view. What can you say; it was Norway!

The young lady who was our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was good.

Lovely ride on the ferry and a beautiful walk to the waterfall. That’s about all we had time for.

Great guide who led us throughout the city (easy to bike the entire area).

The historic nature of this hotel means that you give up a little in the comfort of the accomodation. Specifically, the shower over tub in the bathroom was difficult for us.

The room assigned to us had a drainage problem in the bathroom. Tub drain overflowed, flooding the bathroom. When I asked to be moved, I was told there were no rooms available and they offered to send up extra towels. I insisted that was no solution and they were able to find a room for us. We had no assistance in moving to the new room.

Fun was to spend a few hours. Great views

Our driver had a battery problem with his car and was unable to pick us up. He said we were being assigned another driver. I called the company because I had not heard from them. They gave me information on the new driver. However, he was not the one who picked us up. We ultimately made it to the airport, but felt it was a little dicey.

Itinerary was too much to accomplish in the afternoon we were there. We visited the National Museum, which was great.

Lene was excellent.

We saw only part of the exhibit, but it was very interesting.

Did not go there.

We were not able to complete this hike due to time and physical ability constraints.

Very cute village, if somewhat touristy.

Thomas was quite a good guide and gave us a good experience. He was somewhat difficult to understand,

Well, it was an experience. My husband thought the food and beer pairing were good. I didn’t drink beer. The food was OK for the most part and you have to consider the experience. I did not care for 2 of the 5 dishes.

Cruise was just a boat ride. The cruise out of Flåm was way more interesting. We were there on a Monday and much of Rosendal was closed. We visited the rose garden at the Baroniet, but the castle was closed.
