This hotel is a classic airport hotel, and I judge aiport hotels by a different standard. When I stay at an airport hotel it is usually immediately before or after a flight and I’m looking for convenience and efficiency. The airport Rydges is super convenient to the international terminal and also just 50 meters from the T8 train line that runs every few minutes straight into Sydney. The room was clean and super functional, and an easy (flat, little car traffic) 5 minute walk from the international terminal. I would recommend it to other travelers looking for an airport hotel to facilitate their connections.

This hotel exceeded expectations in every respect. The location is spectacular—in a quiet neighborhood directly across the street from the Four Mile Beach, with 5-10 minute walking access to the best restaurants and shops in Port Douglas. The service was excellent, including a very good included breakfast. And the facilities were excellent. The room included a balcony overlooking the beach and in-room facilities (fridge, stove top, microwave, etc.) and as a result was very comfortable to stay in. Indeed, the room itself was a great destination. If I go back to Port Douglas I will stay at the Peninsula.

This is a fine hotel, but in a city that is otherwise quite beautiful (Sydney) this hotel is located on possibly the ugliest quarter acre in town—it is built in between two freeway ramps and the view out the window is 100% freeway. Functionally it was fine—clean rooms, nice breakfast, good service at the front desk. But given what i now know to be the alternatives in Sydney next time I go I would prefer a different hotel.

Daintree is amazing, and I had a great experience with my guide who did a great job.

A really well done experience from start to finish. A comfortable ship, really well informed and helpful staff, great food, and, of course, amazing snorkeling at the reef.

If you like helicopter tours this is a good one.

This experience was okay, but not great. Food was a bit mediocre and venue was fine, but not really all that different than the hotel.

We loved this hotel! Each morning and evening we sat on the balcony enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. It was a little slice of heaven!

Enjoyed our walking tour of some of the architecture and laneways of Melbourne. It's was a little challenging to keep us all together on the crowded streets, but it didn't impact the beauty of the Cathedral, Art Deco architecture and Street Art areas. We learned a lot about Melbourne and it's history along the way

This coastline is unlike anything we've ever seen before. It was a beautiful drive on a beautiful day. Paul, our driver, was very interesting and happy to keep the conversation going. Loved the stops to get coffee, lunch and visit to the wildlife sanctuary and stretch our legs and the 12 Apostle Area was strikingly beautiful!

A great trip with lots of things to see. Nicholas was incredibly knowledgeable and if it didn't know an awswer, he had a bunch of book in the vehicle where we could find the answers together. He truly loves this place and all it's crazy plants & creatures. Who else serves morning tea and has lunch in the rainforest in such beautiful surroundings?! Amazing day in the Daintree!

If you go to Austrailia ... you'd be crazy not to do this trip! Crew was great from the moment we stepped on to the end of our trip. When we struggled with a poor fitting mask, several of the crew worked together to resolve the issue quickly. They truly wanted each person to have an amazing trip. You can tell they love the Reef and their opportunity to show others.

A long day of great stops. Enjoyed being up close with the animals. Views of the Blue Mountains were beautiful from all the stopping points along the way. The hike was challenging enough with great views and the botantical garden was amazing. The guide we had was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed all of the info she had to share. She did a great job of minding the traffic and giving out various tidbits about Syndey and each of the stops along the way. The lunch was great ... what a fantastic sandwich. I would certainly recommend this trip ... it is a really long day, but worth it!

Enjoyed learning the history of the creation of the Opera House. Didn't realize ahead of time, though it makes sense now, that you might not be able to view all of the presentation areas (or have to do it very quietly) due to practices taking place in the performance halls. The headsets proved invaluable and our guide was very knowledgeable.

We covered an amazing amount of ground on this tour. Loved the way Dave led, walking backwards and talking almost non-stop through street after amazing street! Started with lots of cool history of the Rocks and developing Sydney to the streets of today. Highly recommended!

The location was great and the breakfasts were very nice.

We love the retro vintage decor, but the main star is the location across the street from the botanic garden.

One step out our door was a freshwater white sand Beach, which was the perfect place to relax after a day of touring.

The view of the harbor and Opera House was a highlight of the trip. Terrific location in the rocks historical district.

Local sauce is the new kid on the block and they try harder. The staff reached out to us immediately upon booking, and before and after the trip, which gave us a lot of confidence in their organization. Excellent overview of historic Brisbane.

Our guide Johnny was a long-time local who was greeted personally at every stop, And his commentary about life in tropical Queensland was very informative. The crocodile boat ride with Ernie allowed us to meet the real crocodile Hunter of Australia. You won't believe how big those male Crocs can be, from a safe distance across the river, of course.

Visiting The reef was Tom's bucket list And this tour brought us right out to the reef For the full experience. The boat ride is 90 minutes each way. I took my seasick medicine before departure each way which was a good thing. The staff used the time time of the journey out to The reef briefing Everyone on the many activities available. I am a very anxious snorkeler and they had so many expert staff members available at each step of the suiting up. I'm so glad I had that experience. However, the real way to see what's under the water is the semi-submersible which I rode twice.

Our driver and guide, helder, was quite charming and informative. Loved the zoo and being out in the mountains for a brief hike.

This is a must do for visitors to Sydney since we see it so much from the outside. It was really a thrill to be on the inside of this icon of the country.

This tour gave us the history and orientation to Sydney. The guide was very informative and we could everything she said and ask questions. Excellent Start to our visit to Sydney.

Beautiful place in Kangaroo Island

Located close the the restaurants and the beach this hotel was perfect for our time in Port Douglas.

Riding with Dave was great. We learned so much about Melbourne and Australia.

Snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef is not to be missed

We were worried about the possibility of rain in Brisbane but once out on Moreton Island everything seemed better. We went snorkeling amongst the sunken ships and even saw a turtle.

Loved this location. It was a great hotel for a big city. All the.amenities. Every detail was considered, including.the young men managing the doors were above and beyond in their friendliness and helpfulness.

The drone and light show was very entertaining and educational and was high-quality

I really liked the small group size and the short hike through the gorge was incredible The sunset breakfast was one of the best meals we had on the tours

The drive around the rock and the opportunities for several short walks was just a perfect fit

I didn’t realize how well prepared and user friendly this day would be. You needed no experience and even those with some physical limitations could easily participate

Everyone participating in the tour was friendly and made it an enjoyable day despite the weather which obviously nobody can control

We also went to the butterfly museum before getting on the sky rail. The scenery was incredible on the sky rail and well worth making this stop.

The blue Mountains are beautiful and we were able to have several stop.s to do different activities. I would’ve liked more self guided time to explore on our own when walking in the rainforest

Uluru is way bigger than you think. You don't appreciate it until you are standing next to it. Small group tour was intimate.

Great five-star hotel near everything in downtown Melbourne. We visited the Chuan Spa to get relaxing massages and were able to utilize all the amenities available.

Peaceful, zen-like atmosphere on a beautiful, scenic property. Lots of lounge areas and very aesthetically pleasing. Villas were big and comfortable. We had booked a two-bedroom villa but there was only a single bed in each room. The gal at the front desk very kindly offered to open the other bedroom with twin beds so we could all sleep comfortably. Definitely great customer service.

Great, modern hotel in the middle of downtown. Walking distance to Sydney Opera House and other great locations.

A wonderful tour through the different areas of downtown Melbourne. Melinda was truly a pleasure to tour with. She was friendly, knowledgeable and you could tell she had a real affinity for the city. We wandered down alleys and lanes and saw all the diverse architecture of the city. We stopped to have drinks at one of the many coffee houses located in the city and had some terrific chocolate at Mork’s. This was a great tour for people interested in architecture and to see the many diverse areas of downtown Melbourne.

The boat was big and comfortable and we had a pretty smooth ride out to the reef and back. The snorkeling was terrific and the reef was a once in a lifetime trip for us.

Jungle cruise - It was not very exciting but the scenery was pretty. We saw about 5 or 6 bigger crocs, a baby croc and a Great Beak Heron. Mossman Gorge - This was very nice, and there was a lot to see. We took a tram up to the gorge, and the day was cool and beautiful so we were able to take a dip in the watering hole. We would have loved to stay longer to hike the trail.

Callie was an excellent tour guide. Very enthusiastic and interactive. She made it very enjoyable and she was very knowledgeable about all of the animals. We enjoyed feeding the kangaroos and cassowary and petting the koala during our photo session. The private tour was so much more informative than if we had gone on our own.

Calmsley Farm: We saw wallabies, kangaroos, mice, goats, sheep, wombat, camel, Shetland ponies, donkeys, koalas, rabbits, turkeys, a ferret, and snakes. We love animals so this was a fun stop for all of us. Blue Mountains: Unfortunately the weather made it impossible to see anything. The rain and the fog obscured the views and made it too dangerous for us to do the hike. It was very disappointing, but we understood it had nothing to do with the tour. Our guide, Paul, was really nice and had a lot of interesting information for the group. We heard later that this was the wettest winter in Sydney in 28 years!

Tour guide: Helen Sydney Fish Market - great place to visit. Interesting to see the different types of fish and food available. The samples we had were delicious - deep fried squid, deep fried fish, salmon sashimi and raw oysters. Lotus - Chinese cuisine, the vegetable dumplings were really good. The other items we sampled were also good. Harry’s Meals on Wheels - meat pie was surprisingly tasty Black Star Bakery - the only disappointing stop. The cake was just okay and the people working there were not friendly Young Henry’s - cool, funky bar. We enjoyed the beer flights Helen was a fantastic guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. The places she took us were fun and it was nice to see the different areas of Sydney as she talked about the history of the area. Definitely a recommended tour for first timers in Sydney.

Definitely an Eco lodge with emphasis on preserving the environment. The Reef Room was very nice. Close to the lagoon.

Received great assistance from the restaurant staff over several days. They went beyond what was needed. Great view of the Bay Bridge.

A must see and do.we were very blessed that the vendor changed our excursion the day before and allowed us to enjoy the weather and the snorkeling experience which was very much appreciated.

Our guide was the best. She offered several name including “Gorgeous” which fit the personality and style of a young lady who entertained her group the whole time.

This location has very high highs (interior and layout of the space and level of quality) but some low points that are unfortunate. No on site dining, limited staff support, a bit far to walk to everything and no elevator (which is only troubling when you have a lot of luggage). If we stayed here again we would rent a car.

I have mixed experiences with this tour and would want to go to Whitehaven again but in a different way, perhaps a smaller group, easier tender process and longer amount of time. We only had about 30 mins on the beach by the time we got there.

Overall this was a bit disappointing. At times it felt like "going through the motions" and no real explanation or "guide". Would not recommend the zip lining for anyone that has done it in other locations. And the crocodile tour was disappointing. The boat was in very poor condition

Overall this was a great experience, but I wish there were less people. There were not enough seats for us to sit inside, and certainly not sit together, and with all of the people everything took longer, which left less time to snorkel. The way the experience is laid out and all the options (like the marine biologist presentation and observation submarine) is wonderful, but the crowds were tricky.

One in a lifetime opportunity. So well done and amazing experience!

So glad we added this to the trip! This Sanctuary was so nice and the Koalas were the best!

Whale Watching was very well done and the Sandboarding add on was great! We had trouble with the van quality and timing, which brought the rating down.

This was one of the best parts of the trip, due is major part to Mark, our guide! He was SOOOO friendly, knowledgeable and overall great human. He was one of our favorite people to meet and so glad we got to spend the day with him.

Loved seeing Bondi and the walk before to get to the beach was amazing! Van was comfortable and Craig shared good information about the city.

The rooms are extremely dated, and there is a wide disparity among them. The first room that was assigned to our children was below street level and had the odor of mold. Our room, which was on the third floor, was serviceable. The management did move the children’s room to one that was better after we complained. The property is adjacent to a trailer park and has seen better days. I will actively avoid this hotel if I visit again.

The hotel is beautiful and ideally located within a short walk to the Rocks market and the Opera House. The rooms were very comfortable and a decent size. The staff or exceptional, professional, and responsive.

The guide was outstanding and the vehicle was extremely comfortable. Phillips Island presents a spectacular landscape. It was great to see wallabies in the wild.As with all nature experiences, the penguin parade is highly unpredictable as to what one might see. The night we went, hardly any penguins came ashore.

Fan was outstanding- knowledgeable, enthusiastic and thoroughly engaging. He pointed out many hidden gems of the city and made outstanding restaurant recommendations. He has a deep knowledge of the cities history and presents it in an enjoyable fashion.

The boat was modern, well outfitted, and extremely comfortable.. the pontoon was incredible, on a day and the waters were rough, it was nice to step onto the stable pontoon. Our family has a range of skill levels and experience with snorkeling, and the friendly and professional staff made it a safe and enjoyable experience for all skill levels. This was the most memorable tour of our trip.

This was our first time zip lining. The staff made it stress-free and enjoyable. The views were amazing.

My kids truly enjoyed this experience. The koala interaction was particularly memorable. The mission of the sanctuary and their dedicated staff were inspiring.

The vessel was small and the water was rough. Several individuals experienced violent sea sickness. There were no dolphins or whales. James, the guide who drove us was fantastic.
