Everyone at Sun Pyramids Tour worked to make my trip amazing! My guides Karam, Eslam and Abdu were so knowledgeable and became good friends. Every driver went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. Armia and Mohamed accommodated any change and add on while I was in country. The entire experience was fantastic!

Nader and his team were amazing. My wife and I and our three college age children all really enjoyed Egypt. Nader had several planning calls with us before the itinerary was finalized to make sure that all of our goals were met. From the moment we arrived at the airport the service was first class. Our representative in Cairo, Samara, met us as soon as we got off the plane and got our visas and escorted us through security. The airlines lost my wives and daughters luggage and Samara waited at the airport for hours and even went back to the airport after we left for Luxor to retrieve the bags for us. He went way above and beyond for us including getting a hotel upgrade do to our trouble with the luggage. He was incredible. Hassany was our representative in Luxor and he was amazing too. I have never had so much personal attention from a travel representative. He even took us shopping in downtown Luxor so my daughter could buy a few items of clothing while she waited on her luggage from the airlines. Zain was also great in Aswan although our stay was very short. Our guide in Cairo, Osama, was so knowledgeable and personable and made our visit so memorable. I honestly felt like we were friends at the end of the week. We planned our trip a little too aggressively from the outset, but Nader and his team were agile and changed our plans "on the fly" to accommodate us. They added trips, canceled dinner reservations and rescheduled excursions as necessary to give us the best experience possible. The Fairmont Hotel in Cairo was fantastic and the Hilton in Luxor provided a great dinner atmosphere with the pool area right on the Nile. The food in every location was great. It was so much fun learning more about the history of Egypt and seeing the sites. Having the expert guides with us to answer questions and explain things in as much or little detail as we wanted make the trip way more enjoyable than if we had done it on our own. We highly recommend visiting Egypt. It was truly the experience of a lifetime and Nader and his team were a big part of its success.

Our trip to Egypt included time in Cairo, Luxor, and Hurghada. All of which offered a different and memorable aspect of Egypt. Everyone from Aya, who coordinated and arranged our to trip, to all of our guides were very kind, helpful, and welcoming. Its hard to pick one thing we liked the most. In Cairo, you have to visit the pyramids, try as much food as you can, and take a little ride on a camel. In Luxor, the historic sites and the hot air balloon ride at sunrise were wonderful. And in Hurghada, snorkeling in the Red Sea was amazing. I'd highly recommend visiting Egypt and working with this team on any plans when doing so.

Habiba was very helpful in changing our itineraries as we requested changes. I felt her responses were sometimes delayed , and since this was our first Kimkim trip we were sometimes anxious about hearing from her. She was always flexible and listened to our needs

Mike cruise was fantastic. Pyramid Park hotel bathrooms looked old tired and not kept well. It's more like a lower end if 3 star. I wish I had known that, I would have asked for a more luxury hotel - the online pictures did not give me any clue

Where do I begin on how to describe what an amazing trip that was planned by Habiba. All of my desires and expectations were beyond met. I have done extensive research on tour agencies that provide tours in Egypt as well asked ones who has toured Egypt, their references. It was fate to pick KimKim, and work with Habiba. I wanted a seasoned Egyptologist and I received 2 passionate and well educated tour guides, Mary in Cairo and Adele who cruised with us up the Nile. Our party of five could not stop thanking me for putting the trip together because I am usually the one that does. I had to tell them I picked the right tour agency and they did the rest. The accommodations where not 4 stars, they were 5 stars. From the hotels in Cairo, to the cruise ship where exceptional. They were clean, great service and delicious food.
There was a change to our itinerary close to the last minute when we added Abu Simbel. We had a late flight returning to Cairo from Aswan and my son had and early flight out, Habiba changed reservations to at a hotel close to the airport and was able to get late check out for the ones who did not have an early flight.
Put your trust in KimKim and Habiba because all of the fusing and wringing my hands, wondering how turnout would be was a waste of time.

Was concerned about what the cruise ship because there are so many to choose from.. Such a beautiful ship and staff, my relatives that were with me was never on a cruise, so this was their introduction. They were concerned about sea sickness, the food choices, etc. We were all pleased with the MS Nile Premium. It is a small ship with I believe 56 rooms so not the size of Carnival or Norwegian cruise lines. The service was impeccable and the food absolutely delicious. The buffet had good choice options and each night there was different selection for their carving table. Veal and duck was my favorite, they must have knew. We relaxed on the top deck while cruising the Nile and enjoyed tea time. The guest were international, we met guest from Spain, Australia, Italy and every group had their personal tour guide that cruised on the ship as well.

The Cairo Tower is good for the few of Cairo , the food was good too but the restaurant needs updating. I would compare it to a local American restaurant like Olive Tree.

Nader, Samara, Yasser, Omar, Sawy, and Mustafa were all absolutely amazing. Nader took my incredibly packed itinerary and made it a reality with ZERO hiccups. It was flawless. We spent 2 weeks in Egypt and left feeling like it was our adopted county. Everyone felt like family and treated us with complete respect. I cannot recommend Nader and his team enough. They truly made our dreams a reality.

Wow, my family and I had an amazing trip thanks to KimKim, Egypt Promotion, Ibrahim and Amr. There is no way I could have planned and arranged this trip on my own. Our experience was seamless from start to finish, all we had to do was show up, relax and enjoy. Aladdin and the other handlers did a great job getting us to and from the airports to our transportation vehicles. Thank you! Our tour guide, Mustafa, in Cairo was informative and attentive to our needs. On to the best part... the Nile River Cruise on the Dahabiya: Iris. OMG! Highly recommend! That was absolutely the best mode of transportation from Luxor to Aswan and the most memorable. Not just because it was an amazing boat but the staff was exceptional. They were super friendly, attentive and the FOOD... delicious! Thank you, Ehad, Fouad, Ahmed, Khalid, Zeyad, Hisham and Tarek for the smiles that greeted us on board, to the towel art that awaited on our beds, and again the delicious food. lol My kids said this was their favorite trip by far. Lastly, Ahmed was our tour guide that accompanied us through our trip to upper Egypt. He was very informative, spoke great English, funny and by our last day felt more like a friend than a guide. Habiba was not initially my first choice. And not the cheapest. But she was proactive, and she was highly communicative, and kept adjusting the programme to my liking. The tour was perfect. Granted, one needs to understand that 4/5-star in Egypt is not the same as one would expect elsewhere. But overall the experience was great. The quality of the tour guides was impeccable, especially Hani Arabi in Luxor/Aswam and Sayeb in Cairo. Hani was quite unique. Professional and understanding. Overall it was a fabulous trip. Thank you Habiba for being there behind the chat 24/7 to help me during the trip.

My wife and I booked a 13-day VIP private tour through KimKim, which included private drivers and guides, 5-star hotels, and a custom itinerary. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, but there were a few areas that need improvement.

Habiba helped plan the trip and was responsive and professional throughout. We appreciated her flexibility, especially when we requested an overnight trip to Abu Simbel instead of a rushed day trip—an adjustment that made the experience significantly better.

Our guides, particularly Qadir and Mohab, were exceptional—well-educated, engaging, and made my wife feel safe at all times.

However, the meal plan fell short of VIP expectations. We were taken to prearranged restaurants with limited or buffet-only options, and meals became repetitive by day four. Our feedback wasn’t implemented until the final day, when we were finally taken to a great spot—Studio Masr at Al Azhar Park. We also would’ve appreciated the option to dine somewhere that served alcohol after long days of touring.

We highly recommend the tour for its structure, service, and expertise, but KimKim and their local partner, Sun Pyramids, should improve transparency and flexibility regarding dining—especially for premium bookings.

Steigenberger Pyramids Hotel – Honest Review The Steigenberger Pyramids Hotel is conveniently located across from the Grand Egyptian Museum. The breakfast buffet was adequate, though the selection remained the same each day. On the bright side, room service was excellent—especially the pizza and beer. Security is taken seriously here. Guests pass through a metal detector, and backpacks are scanned. Even our private driver and his vehicle were thoroughly checked upon entry. A word of caution: the photos online are a bit misleading. We paid to upgrade to a “pyramid view” room, and while technically accurate, we could only see one pyramid from the corner of our balcony. Alcohol is available onsite. Beer and wine are reasonably priced, but hard liquor is outrageously expensive—and they measure every drop. Oddly, we weren’t allowed to take our wine glasses to our room. Instead, we were offered a paper cup. No thanks. Overall, it’s a decent option for the location and basic comfort, but it may fall short if you’re expecting a true 5-star experience.

We had an incredible time on our trip to Egypt. It was a full on sightseeing holiday but every attraction ran so smoothly it was stress free, and our guides were early / on time to meet us and were happy to answer any questions we had. Our guides were very insightful and knowledgeable about the places we were visiting. We particularly liked Mustafa, Ahmed and the guide who was with us on the Nile cruise who took us to Philae Temple, Luxor Temple and the Valley of Kings etc. (we're really sorry that we have forgotten his name!).

The overall planning of the trip was made SO much easier by KimKim. Highly recommend and would 100% use them again.

Had a great trip with Kim Kim and the local company, Original Travels, in Egypt.
Samara, Mohammed, and Zakarya were very knowledgeable and super accommodating to our needs. Samara went above and beyond helping us secure our luggage 7 days after arrival. This is my second time using Kim Kim and plan to use them in the future

My family and I had an AMAZING trip largely thanks to Mohammed, Mustafa Abd Elhameed, and Ahmed Mohsen. Mohammed and Aya helped plan and book our dream itinerary while Mustafa and Ahmed were the welcome team who helped guide us through out the week in Cairo. Then when transferring to Luxor Adel El Shafey was the perfect guide and very knowledgeable. When a few of us fell sick towards the end of the trip everyone made sure we had medicine and checked in on our. Egypt truly felt like home thanks to these amazing group of people. My family and I will definitely be booking more trips through KimKim!

We had an amazing family trip to Egypt, Cairo. The Kim Kim team in Cairo was friendly, courteous, and supportive. It great service and very well organized. Our guide Mustafa was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make us feel at home on our trip!!

We booked this trip with Amr over a year ago and "paid in full." However we postponed it when war broke out in the Middle East. When it appeared the war would not spread further we rebooked, and Amr asked for and got more money. The "final" itinerary did not reflect what we actually did in Egypt. We visited the pyramids of Giza early in the trip and did not do the dinner cruise. Later our local guide thought we were still going back to the pyramids of Giza. We wanted to see the new Grand Museum of Egypt instead of repeating the pyramids. Getting this straightened out took more time and effort than it should have. We had to agree to pay the museum tickets in advance while we still have not been reimbursed for the dinner cruise that we didn't take or the second set of pyramid tickets we didn't use. Probably the most memorable thing we did on the trip was the hot air balloon ride in Luxor over the Valley of the Kings. This was something we arranged through the local guide Waleed and paid additional fees. Waleed was helpful and accommodating. Our first local guide, Mona was quite good. Knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Local guide Ahmed was outstanding. His knowledge of ancient Egypt was truly impressive. He was helpful and pleasant to be around. We thoroughly enjoyed his company. All the drivers were very good at their jobs which is saying alot given the crazy habits of Egyptian drivers.

Altogether it was a very positive experience.
Nader was most helpful with arrangements to fulfill our expectations and desires
Our Cairo guide Mohamed Sharawi was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic in sharing information we received eagerly.
As the other guide, also named Mohamed ( Luxorto Aswan), he was usually well enough informed but not all the time.
Drivers were well trained and we felt secure.
Housing accomodations were outstanding .
The boat ( dahabyia) was very pleasant and the staff most amiable.
The cruise was very relaxing and pleasant.
It would be hard to point out one single moment or sight since everyone had it's features even though I admit that Karnak was most impressive.
Egyptian people were welcoming and friendly.
Food was good specially fruits and vegetables that were fresh and very tasty
We were very satisfied with this first experience with KimKim .

Nader was a fine vis-a-vis during all our interactions. He very well seized what we wanted and his quick response time was very appreciated!
There are maybe 3 points that I wld underline:
1. It seemed that there were a lack of synchronization between what we had as an itinerary and Mohamed's ( the 2nd guide). For instance the Esna temple was on our list but not on his. Plus lack of clarity as to when we' d board the ship.
2. Our complete flight schedule was sent more than once to Nader but there still was some confusion on his oart as to when we'd leave Egypt.
3. Tips: that was the major kerfuffle, and quite embarrassing for us. The second Mohamed mentioned to us that Nader was underestimating the amount per activity, especially guiding. Nader told us that 8$/day was ok, but the guide showed us that he was promised 15$. That's almost double the original amount. We readjusted our finance accordingly but found that pretty disconcerting. Being perceived as cheap wasn't on our list wish!! We just hope that this won't be our reputation among your staff and contractors..

Our sojourn was very short and despite this, we cld enjoy the staff's wonderful attitudes. We had a lot of fun with our waiter who tried to give us some lessons of Arabic, quite unsuccessfully unfortunately!!

Dendara and Abydos temples Day trip

The visit to the Dendara and Abydos temples was incredible and worth the long, rough journey. Abydos particularly left us flabbergasted with its antiquity and historical significance. It's one of the older ones, dating back millennia, and witnessing it was an awe-inspiring experience.

The Sound & Light Show at Abu Simbel was an emotional and breathtaking experience. I was moved to tears by the beauty and splendor when the entire temple was illuminated. It was an unforgettable moment that no one visiting Egypt should miss.

I traveled by myself for seven days and even though I am well traveled, I was slightly nervous about visiting Egypt as an American.
From the moment I arrived at Cairo airport until I
was dropped off for the return flight I was very well taken care of by the KimKim team
Each guide was a trained Egyptologist with extensive knowledge of history of the country
and the sites , the drivers were unfailingly

Initially there was poor communication regarding additional tours requested by us but they were sorted out via Aya just before we checked in for our flight from Addis Ababa. It lead to Mohamed waiting for us on arrival while we took personally arranged transport to our hotel for the firts night. We have assumed (maybe wrongly) that the first night stay was not included in our trip cost.
I'm a bit unsure regarding the "local specialist" as the Tour Guide who collected us from the Novotel Cairo Airport hotel and took me took the market on the first day was diappointing as he was not providing any guidance/information regarding landmarks as we drove to the market and/or around the market itself at all.
All our other guides were exellent. As they were all named Mohamed in one form or another I would rather refer to the location. The guide for Luxor was the best of all followed by the one in Cairo and lastly the one in Aswan.

The room itself and service was good. However, the sound proofing of the door to the room was very poor which resulted in noisy nextdoor guests, who were coming and going all night, kept us awake and spoiled our stay. We were tired and could not enjoy our visit to Egypt (Aswan) the following day.
