Our planner with KimKim, Emerson, just got it right! We had no idea what to expect or what to ask for. Yet, somehow Emerson knew exactly what to plan for us. Our first 3 nights were in Rovaniemi. We stayed at the Artic Lights Hotel. The accommodations were amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant on site was phenomenal!! I recommend the roasted reindeer as it was outstanding! Risto our guide from Johka made sure we saw the Northern Lights. He drove us almost to Sweden where the skies were clear just so we wouldn’t miss out. The photo’s he took belong in a magazine. Again, he was knowledgeable and personable. We had such a good time out on the frozen lake staring at the sky.
We visited Korouoma Canyon where our guide Geowdy from Wild About Lapland took us on a 5km hike to see the frozen waterfalls. She was so perky and upbeat you almost forgot you were hiking!! Our last night we ate at Gustav. This is a must stop!!! Delicious!! The folks at Sieriporo Reindeer Safari took really good care of us. We all learned so much about the reindeer. The sleigh ride was relaxing and beautiful!
From Rovaniemi we went to Levi where we stayed at the Northern Lights Ranch. Such a unique experience to sleep in a glass room !! Food was exceptional and the staff was amazing. For our last day we took a snowmobile safari with Lowry at Lazy Santa safaris. He was super! I don’t even have words for the scenery. Absolutely breathtaking!! The tour was very personal, just the 3 of us. He equipped us with everything we needed to stay warm and dry. Super knowledgeable and friendly!! Every driver we had for the transfers were professional and informative. Best vacation ever!!! Thank you KimKim and Emerson!

Thank you for the kind words – I appreciate you taking the time to share this.

A lot of that comes down to you, as a traveler, as much as the plan itself. You trusted it, stayed flexible, and that makes a difference.

I’m glad it all came together the way it did.

I’ll pass your feedback on to the team — they’ll value it.

The excursions were unforgettable. Dog mushing was such a thrill, ice fishing was peaceful and unique, and spending the day with the a reindeer herders wife, and family was incredibly special and authentic. These experiences, in particular, are something we will never forget.

Every detail was perfectly planned. Our stay at the Hotel Fabian was absolutely wonderful—such a great location in Helsinki and beautiful accommodations—and the cabin in Lapland was truly magical. It felt like something out of a dream and gave us such a unique and memorable experience.

What we appreciated most was how seamless and stress-free everything felt. Even after our flight was cancelled, Moonika stepped right in and adjusted our itinerary. We were able to fully enjoy every moment knowing everything had been so thoughtfully arranged.

Thank you for creating such a meaningful and unforgettable trip for us. This is our second time using kimkim (first trip was to Norway) and we are so grateful- can’t wait to plan our next adventure with you!

Helsinki

Our stay at Hotel Fabian in Helsinki was absolutely wonderful and the perfect way to end our Finland trip. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, stylish, and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautifully designed—modern yet cozy, with thoughtful touches that make you feel right at home. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city. One of the standout aspects of Hotel Fabian is its location. It’s perfectly situated within walking distance to so many of Helsinki’s highlights, yet still feels peaceful and tucked away. What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our experience great. Whether it was recommendations, directions, or just a warm greeting, their hospitality did not go unnoticed. Hotel Fabian strikes the perfect balance between boutique charm and high-end comfort. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Helsinki!

Our stay at Aurora Village in Lapland was great—one of those rare experiences that feels magical from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality that we instantly felt at home, despite being so far from it. Though no one helped us to our cabin with such heavy luggage and mushy snow, the cabins were beautifully designed—cozy, modern, and perfectly positioned to take in the stunning Arctic surroundings and gave us a deeper appreciation for the beauty and culture of Lapland. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime Arctic getaway, Aurora Village is it. We left with full hearts and amazing memories.

Our stay at Lapin Park Tintti Eco Cabin was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and beautifully remote the setting was—surrounded by pristine nature, it felt like stepping into a winter dream. The cabin itself was cozy, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly balanced rustic charm with modern comfort. Everything felt intentional, and you can really appreciate the eco-conscious approach without sacrificing comfort. What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was Terhi and Arto. They went above and beyond in every possible way to make our stay special. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel more like welcomed guests than visitors. Whether it was sharing stories, helping us experience the local culture, or simply making sure we were comfortable, they added such a personal and meaningful touch to our trip. The entire experience felt authentic, peaceful, and deeply memorable. If you’re looking for a unique getaway that connects you with nature while also offering heartfelt hospitality, Lapin Park Tintti Eco Cabin is something truly special. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming about coming back.

We had such a wonderful day exploring Helsinki—it was the perfect mix of charm, culture, and relaxation. The city is incredibly walkable, making it easy to take in the beautiful architecture, waterfront views, and unique design touches around every corner. We loved strolling through the local markets, enjoying fresh food and coffee, and taking in the laid-back yet vibrant atmosphere. The blend of historic sites and modern Scandinavian style made everything feel both rich in history and refreshingly current. One of the highlights was simply soaking in the peaceful pace of the city. Helsinki has a calm, welcoming energy that makes you feel instantly at ease, yet there’s still so much to see and do. From the stunning churches to the scenic harbor, every moment felt special. It was the perfect way to experience Finland beyond the winter adventures—highly recommend spending a full day here to truly appreciate everything Helsinki has to offer!

Our Northern Lights tour with professional photos was a decent experience overall—some nice highlights, but a few things that could have been better. Our guide was friendly and tried his best to create a positive atmosphere throughout the evening. He was organized and made sure everyone was taken care of, which we appreciated. The location itself was beautiful, and being out under the Arctic sky was a special experience regardless. We did see the Northern Lights but we did feel like our tour guide was in a rush to drop us off. He drove to 2 different locations and then that was it for the night. We did not get the professional photos until we got back from our trip and they were just ok. They were dark, cut off and a bit blurry. The turnaround time and/or communication around receiving them could have been clearer. It would have helped to know exactly what to expect ahead of time. Overall, it was a good experience but not quite as memorable as some of the other excursions we did in Lapland. With a few improvements and a bit more luck with the aurora, it could easily be a standout experience.

Our private glass roof sleigh ride and traditional winter net fishing excursion in Lapland was beyond incredible—truly a five-star plus experience and one we will never forget. From start to finish, everything felt exclusive, peaceful, and perfectly curated. The glass-roof sleigh ride was absolutely magical. Gliding through the quiet, snow-covered landscape while being able to look up at the open sky was such a surreal experience. It felt like we were completely immersed in the Arctic wilderness, with a sense of calm and beauty that’s hard to put into words. The traditional winter net fishing was just as memorable and unique. Learning the process from Arto, hearing the history behind it, and actually experiencing it firsthand gave us such an appreciation for this time-honored way of life. It wasn’t just an activity—it was a meaningful cultural experience that connected us to the land and traditions of Lapland. By far- my favorite excursion ever! What truly elevated this experience was the private, personalized nature of it all. Our guide Arto, was exceptional—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate. We never felt rushed and were able to fully take in each moment, ask questions, and enjoy the experience at our own pace. Every detail was thoughtfully done, and you could feel the authenticity behind it. Between the serene sleigh ride and the hands-on fishing experience, it struck the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and cultural immersion. If you’re visiting Lapland, this is an absolute must. It’s not just five stars—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeds every expectation.

Our day with the reindeer herder’s wife and family in Lapland was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience—easily a five-star highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family into a way of life that felt both deeply authentic and incredibly special. Spending time learning about the traditions, culture, and daily rhythms of reindeer herding was so meaningful. Hearing her stories and seeing firsthand the connection between her family and the reindeer gave us a whole new appreciation for this unique lifestyle. It didn’t feel like a “tour” at all—it felt personal, genuine, and heartfelt. The day was beautifully paced, allowing us to really take it all in—from interacting with the reindeer to enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the snowy landscape, then preparing a wonderful reindeer meal followed by some arts and crafts. There was something so calming and grounding about being there, away from everything, immersed in nature and tradition. What made the experience unforgettable was her warmth and hospitality. You could feel the pride she has in her heritage and the joy she takes in sharing it with others. It left a lasting impression on us and gave us memories we will cherish forever. If you’re visiting Lapland, don’t miss this experience. It’s something truly special that goes far beyond sightseeing—it’s a genuine cultural connection that stays with you long after you leave.

Our husky safari with Sustainable Wilderness in Lapland was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the moment we arrived, everything felt authentic, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed with both guests and the animals in mind. The team was incredibly warm and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain how to safely guide the sled and sharing insights about the dogs and their care. It was clear how much they genuinely love and respect their huskies—the dogs were well cared for, energetic, and clearly excited to run. Gliding through the snowy Lapland wilderness behind a team of huskies was nothing short of magical. The scenery was breathtaking—peaceful, untouched, and straight out of a postcard. It felt like such a special way to experience the Arctic landscape. What stood out most was Sustainable Wilderness’s commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. You can truly feel that they prioritize the wellbeing of their animals and the environment, which made the experience even more meaningful. If you’re visiting Lapland, this is an absolute must-do. Our 11 day trip to Finland started out with both my husband and myself very sick and we had to cancel some of our activities for the first day. Lilla was very accommodating in getting the cancellations done.

We arrived in Helsinki and took the overnight train to Kolari where our driver picked us up and took us to the Levin Iglut Glass Igloos in Levi where we spent two nights. Unfortunately, it was very foggy both days and we were unable to see the Northern Lights which was a huge disappointment.

We went on a reindeer adventure with Eanan company. The guides were very informative and we got to feed the reindeer and take a short reindeer sled ride.

The next day a driver picked us up from the hotel and drove us to Rovaniemi. We spent the day at the Arktikum Museum because ice skating was canceled at the Winter Leisure Park due to warm weather. In the evening we took the bus to the Snow Hotel where we had a guided tour and a lovely 3-course dinner. Afterwards, our driver took us to the train station where we boarded the overnight train to Tampere.

In Tampere we stayed at the lovely Solo Sokos hotel which had a sumptuous breakfast buffetwe. In the afternoon we visited the Moomin Museum which was fantastic.

The next day we took the train to the city of Turku, the oldest city in Finland and also the first capital of Finland. We had a very informative private walking tour with our lovely guide Laura from the Magni Mundi company.

Then we took the train to Helsinki where we stayed at the grand Home Hotel Jugend for four nights, which is a former castle built in 1903. We had a lively and informative private tour of Helsinki with our guide Ruylan from GreenCap tours which included some delicious Finnish food tastings. We then took a short ferry ride to Suomenlinna Island. We spent the next couple of days exploring Helsinki by tram and visiting their new modern library.

Our final day was a day trip to Tallinn, Estonia, starting with a 2-hour ferry boat ride. We had a very informative private tour of the old city with our guide from EstAdventures. The next day our driver picked us up from the hotel and drove us to the airport.

All of the hotels we stayed at were lovely. Each of our drivers was very friendly, polite, professionaland punctual. And our tour guides were genuinely interested in relaying the history and facts of the towns they were representing.

All of the private drivers we had were wonderful. They were all very professional, polite, and friendly. We were very impressed with all of them!

We want to compliment Emerson for the very careful and detailed planning of our trip, and for answering my endless questions. And special thanks to Lilla who helped to implement all of the activities of the trip and rearranged our itinerary as needed, and also answered my endless questions. We had a very memorable trip.

I would highly recommend KimKim for any of your future travel plans!

SnowHotel & Ice Dinner Experience
Rovaniemi

The SnowHotel & Ice Dinner Experience was not what I expected. While the hotel itself was fascinating, the meal did not feel special. The food was mediocre, and even one of the drivers mentioned the same about the chef. Offering something like a drink, appetizer, or dessert might be a better option than dinner if improvement can't be made.

Amethyst Mine Tour with the Pendolino - Snow Train

The Amethyst Mine Tour with the Pendolino - Snow Train was not the most impressive activity for us. Despite this, the journey was made worthwhile by the stunning scenery at the top of the mountain, and our driver was fantastic, going out of his way to ensure our comfort. The snow train was less significant compared to the beautiful views and history of the area.

Family Husky Safari

The Family Husky Safari was such an amazing experience, even though it had some hiccups. I handled the huskies myself, and it was quite an adventure. Weather conditions made it a bit challenging as the bus got delayed, and we were rushed through dressing and briefing, but overall, it was great. There was a little disorganization due to delays, which affected the experience slightly. I'd recommend considering private transport for a smoother experience.

* transportation company Taksi Hirsikangas was excellent, punctual, drivers are courteous and had good vehicle.

* Accommodation

1) Artic light hotel, even though they are 5*, the breakfast buffet was abundant , the room was shabby and not clean, only because when I was looking for my socks and realized underneath the bed was full of dirt.
Also, there is no English Channel TV?
2) Elite Hotel Frost, clean and nice
3) Arctic Skylight Lodge, simple like camp, not much amenities
4) Break Sonos Hotel Levi, very nice

* Activities

1) Ice fishing and sauna, had to wait inside the room 45mins before it started to get warm, not so professional
2) Ice floating, waiting for the bus more than an hour each way, the guide’s instructions were clear not to kick water by foot, unfortunately, there were several youngsters who didn’t understand the English instructions, so many kids kicking, the water penetrated to my neck, I got very cold and yelled for help, it was not a good experience.
3) Article snow hotel, presentation was good, too much time to visit each room, ice dinners also too long
4) Northern lights tour, the van was so cold and uncomfortable, the guide spoke to the passengers next to hee with loud voices, not to mention we did not see the northern light, the whole experience was disappointed
5) Sami culture, they were more than 30 minutes late, they picked us up , dropped off in their office, then they were going to pick up another 11 travelers, end up 3+hours late. By the time when we were back to hotel was 8 pm, glad nothing was planned thereafter
6) artic glass cabin was very nice, but we didn’t enjoy enough of the cabin, when we arrived at 1.30 pm putting on winter clothing it was the time to meet the Janka , we have to put on our heavy clothes then wait for pick up, by the time when we started the snowmobile it was almost 4, after that sauna and then dinner, we had to snowmobile back to the office, by the time we arrived at the lodge almost 12am, had no time to enjoy the cabin …not organized at all
7)snow shoeing was ok

I do appreciate all the confirmation for hotels and activities, just the operators of some activities were not so professional.

Hello Wendy,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm truly sorry to hear that some parts of the trip did not meet your expectations.

Just to clarify, Arctic Light Hotel is a 4.5-star property rather than a 5-star hotel, but it is one of the most highly rated hotels in Rovaniemi and many of our guests have had wonderful stays there. Their breakfast is also very well known locally and often considered one of the best in the city, so it was quite surprising to hear that it did not fully meet your expectations.

Regarding the tour timings, I did mention earlier that in Lapland schedules can sometimes vary. Many activities depend on weather conditions, other guests in the group, and general winter circumstances, so the times listed in the itinerary are usually estimates rather than exact durations. That said, I’m sorry to hear that some of the tours lasted a lot longer than expected, and I will check with the providers to understand what may have caused the delays.

I would also like to mention that you originally had two nights planned in the glass cabins, which would have allowed more time to enjoy that experience. As per your request, one of those nights was changed to a regular hotel stay, which naturally reduced the time spent there.

Thank you again for your feedback. We truly appreciate hearing about your experience and will follow up with the activity providers as mentioned.

I joined only for a portion of a trip that a friend had planned. The 2 activities that I joined were a bit mixed. The Northern Lights safari entailed very long drives to see very little of the Northern Lights. We had a slow start because some fellow travellers were late, and this entailed missing the lights. Sigh... The dog sled outing was much more successful, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I lost my water bottle during this outing, and Emerson went out of his way to retrieve it for me. So thank you for that. Overall, Emerson was very attentive and helpful.

I’m sorry the Northern Lights safari didn’t fully meet your expectations. As with all aurora tours, sightings depend on weather and solar activity, and the timing can sometimes be affected by the group.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about the trip to Finland (with a side trip to Estonia) that Emerson organized for our family. Simply put, Emerson was the hero of our trip. Our flight to Helsinki was cancelled, and then our return flight home was delayed by a blizzard in the U.S., but Emerson immediately sprang into action. He quickly reworked our itinerary and helped minimize the additional costs caused by the delays, turning what could have been a very stressful situation into something completely manageable.

Emerson's communication was outstanding from start to finish. He responded quickly to every message and always provided thoughtful, detailed answers to our (sometimes silly!) questions during the planning process. When our flights were cancelled and we were sending panicked WhatsApp messages, he stayed calm, responsive, and incredibly helpful. We truly can’t thank him enough for his professionalism, competence, and kindness; he was an absolute pleasure to work with and genuinely saved the trip (and our sanity!).

The trip itself was fantastic. The hotels Emerson selected were perfect for our family, including a “bonus hotel” (Home Hotel Jugend) that we needed during our unexpected extended stay. The tours were excellent -- especially the dogsledding and Northern Lights tour led by Niko from Johka.fi, which were both truly unforgettable. All of the transfers were smooth and perfectly on time. My husband wasn’t the biggest fan of the overnight train to Kemijärvi, but the kids thought it was a great adventure.

Our hotel in Pyhä (Kurula’s Resort) was wonderful. While the walk into town was a bit long, the weather was beautiful and the road passed a public sledding hill that quickly became a highlight for our family. The warming hut at the base made it extra special because we had fun roasting hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire.

The kids also loved visiting the amethyst mine, and the dinner after our snowmobiling tour was outstanding—especially the moose soup. Estonia was a fantastic addition as well: the ferry ride was relaxing, the tour of Tallinn with Jonas from Estadventures was fascinating, and the city itself is absolutely gorgeous.

This was truly an unforgettable trip for our family, and Emerson played a huge role in making it such a success. We recommend kimkim and Emerson wholeheartedly to anyone planning a trip to the region.

It was great to not have to think about getting uber rides to and from the tours or the airport for pickup-- everything was ready and made the trip so much more relaxing. Additionally, breakfast was included each morning, another cognitive offload that was nice.

The dogsledding and reindeer tours, as well as the snowmobiling, were highlights of the trip. These excursion were immersive, and we felt like you truly had plenty of time to experience the activity, as opposed to ones we have had (for example on an alaskan cruise during port excurisions) that are rushed and truncated. You felt like you got a full experience and left feeling thrilled and fulfilled.

We will definitely be using Kim Kim in the future, and thank Emerson for such a wonderfully planned vacation. We will cherish those memories for a lifetime!

Everyone we met, including our drivers were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were driven around towards the end of the trip by Hamid from Afghanistan and he was a delight. Another driver that we had in Finland, who took us to Sena was I believe he spells his name TOME but I could be wrong. The activities that were set up for us were great and the people affiliated with each activity were also exceptional. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the food and meeting the local people in each destination. All of my family also recognizes that we did not plan this trip until only a few weeks before and I know that complicated Emerson‘s job trying to coordinate everything and lineup accommodations and activities so he deserves special credit. At the end of the trip, during our stay in Tromse there was apparently a mixup with our two rooms in the hotel that I had hoped would have been resolved differently, but other than that, no issues or problems during our two week adventure in Finland and in Norway. I would strongly recommend Emerson of Kim Kim for trip planning especially in Scandinavian countries. Thank you.

Mefjordvær, Senjahopen

Food was excellent, and the staff were very nice and helpful. However, of the accommodation needs upgrading. The mattresses on the beds were too soft and probably very old . They could use more shelf space. had for sure better beds. That said, anyone reading this review who does not know the island of Senja must realize how tall it is, and further understand, retaining the charm of the old buildings.

Location
It’s historical significance and the charm, culture, and the people working in the hotel and also affiliated with the activities that we did there. Special recognition to our guide guides, Alex and Noel, but I’m sure I’m not spelling his name right.
Staff
Cleanliness & Comfort
As I said earlier the beds and upgrade the furniture so that there is more shelving for storage and night tables. Also, it would’ve been nice to have two bathrooms for four people sharing one accommodation.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful review. I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed the activities and the food. I’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to our drivers and activity partners as well.

Thank you also for your understanding regarding the planning timeline. As you know, availability for tours and accommodations was quite limited at the time of booking, which made coordination more complex - and likely contributed to the room mix-up in Tromsø. I appreciate your patience with that.

It was a pleasure planning this journey for you and your family. Thank you again for your trust and recommendation.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very happy to hear the experiences - especially the Northern Lights - were such a success, considering that the weather wasn`t promising! I’ll pass your kind words on to the guides.

I also appreciate the note about the meals. That’s useful to know, and I’ll speak with our partners about adding more variety where possible.

It was a pleasure arranging this trip for you. I’d love to see the Northern Lights photos.

Great hotel! The location was perfect! Its literally in the middle of everything making it very easy to walk to different shops, restaurants and pick up locations. The staff were so nice and friendly and the rooms were so clean and comfortable. To be honest, having a private sauna was truly a special treat and 100% worth it, especially during those night when you re coming back late and want to unwind and warm up. The breakfast was amazing and as a must have coffee first thing in the morning person, I was so happy to see a cafe connected to the main hotel. I would 100% book this hotel again

The Hotel is beautiful! The staff were so friendly and nice, upon my arrival they had complementary upgraded my room which was an amazing surprise. They even provided breakfast the night before as I had a very early checkout and wouldn't be able to experience their breakfast in the morning. The room with glass windows and ceiling was an amazing experience, the surrounding views was so breath taking. It was so magical to just sit and relax with a hot drink and watch the outside scenery

I small bit disappointed that I wasn't able to witness the Northern Lights but I completely understand that viewing them is not 100% guaranteed. Unfortunately for me, the day of my tour the weather was very over cast and foggy. I truly appreciate the tour guide at Beyond Arctic for driving around and trying to find the lights despite the weather. While one spot did seem promising, it was close to -30 degrees outside. The photos taken may not be with the lights, they are still beautiful and memorable. I would still book with Beyond Arctic when I return in my second attempt in viewing the lights :)

SO much fun! At first I was nervous since I had never driven a snowmobile before but once my nerves settled in, it had so much fun! The guide was so attentive and a very skilled driver, he would stop and make sure we were all okay before proceeding. The only downside was how cold it was. Unfortunately, the weather did not permit us to witness the lights while driving. Instead during the driving it started lightly snowing! Despite the cold temperature and lack of lights, I would still 10/10 recommend

This was such an amazing experience, it felt like I was in a story book because the scenery around me didn't look real. it felt like I was in Narnia or the North in Games of Thrones as my friends and family commented on. The entire hike took my breath away, there was so much to look at and take in. While it was cold, it didn't feel cold because of the small inclines every here and there. The highlight was being able to feed to birds. they were so cute and gentle.

Moonika did an excellent job booking activities and accommodations. Everything was practically flawless when it came to excursion pick ups and drop offs. The only time it was a bit of a hiccup was when the Artic Snow Hotel was to have a shuttle pick us up and it did not arrive, when I called they said they would call us back with an update. With no call back, I tried calling again and they said I would need to get a taxi. They paid for the taxi, but it was a bit strange to have such a lack of communication from them. All other excursions booked either came promptly when they said they were coming and/or confirmed the night before. There was a perfect amount of excursions for the day and still time to enjoy the amenities of the accommodations. The only thing that would have been nice to know or have a better understanding was the proximity of each stay to the city centers. Any shopping or dining was limited to what each stay had to offer. We could have called a taxi, but it gets a bit pricey to have to do that each time. Thankfully for us it was a minor setback and we managed just fine for the most part. Regardless we had a splendid time and thought Kimkim did and excellent job planning our trip.

We had a great time looking for the lights and learning about some of the legends behind the lights. It was an enjoyable time. The only thing that would have been nice to know is a clearer idea of the time frame to which we would be gone. The info said about 3 hours. We were gone for 5.5 hours. Maybe it was due to the availability of finding good spots to see the lights, but the first stop was about 20 minutes away, then the next one was over an hour drive. It just made for an unexpected long night.

I was a little disappointed with this experience. There seemed to be a lot of lag time between activities and when its cold outside, no one wants to sit and be cold. The staff were very nice and lovely, but seemed to lack experience with interacting with tourists. They kept asking us what we wanted to know and a lot of their answers seemed like they didn't really know, which is fine, but they wouldn't share what they did know so it felt like we were at a stand still with gathering informatino about the culture behind the reindeer farming. The sleigh ride was fun and the lunch was delicious and very plentiful.

Hello Donnie,

Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. I’m really glad to hear that overall you had a wonderful trip and that most of the arrangements ran smoothly.

I’m very sorry about the issue with the Arctic SnowHotel transfer and the lack of communication there. That’s certainly not the standard we expect from our partners, and I will follow up with them directly to see what happened.

Thank you as well for your comments about the accommodation locations and distances to city centres. That’s very helpful feedback, and I’ll make sure to highlight this more clearly in future itineraries so expectations are set in advance.

I also appreciate you sharing your experience at the reindeer farm. I’m sorry it didn’t fully meet expectations in terms of guidance and engagement, and I’ll pass this on to the provider so they can improve the experience for future guests.

Regarding the Northern Lights tour, the timings are always approximate and can vary depending on weather conditions and aurora activity. That's why we also added this info to your trip plan: "The tour duration may vary based on weather conditions and aurora activity." I'm sorry if for some reason you missed this information on your itinerary.

Thank you again for travelling with us and for taking the time to share all of this. I’m really happy to hear you still had a great time overall.

All the best,
Moonika
