First, I want to thank Eleni for all of her help. She clearly knows what she is doing. She and her team were readily available and accommodating. We had many memorable experiences, but we loved relaxing on the beach in Naxos, had the most amazing sunset experience at the Temple of Poseidon, and very much enjoyed walking/hiking around on the historically significant island of Delos.

The accommodation at NLH-Monastiraki in Athens was perfect. It was beautiful, clean, and we felt very safe. It was in a great location within walking distance to what you want to experience if you only have a day or two planned in Athens. We enjoyed walking around the Plaka district and the old streets in Athens and of course sightseeing at the Acropolis and the many other historically significant sites. We enjoyed all of our chosen restaurants in Athens, we highly recommend Oggi, which is a gelato and dessert cafe. Our tour guide for the Acropolis was also fun, nice, and knowledgable.

In the town of Chora on the island of Naxos we stayed at Antony Suites, which was essentially steps from the beach. This accommodation was amazing. The people who manage and maintain the property were so kind and very welcoming. The suite that we stayed in was exactly what we needed. It was clean and modern--I cannot imagine anyone not feeling comfortable there. On Naxos, Eleni had recommended that we rent a car so that we could drive around the island; we are so glad we did. We drove in to the mountains, which are very close, and visited a few villages and again enjoyed a great meal. We visited the Temple of Demeter, which was in a secluded location with few tourists. We loved swimming at Agia Anna Beach, where we snorkled and saw some really cool fish. We took a day trip to Delos and Mykonos, which was suggested by Eleni--again, an excellent recommendation.

The drivers for all of our private transfers were kind and knowledgable and the vans were very clean and nice.

I was immediately impressed with Angela’s ability to create an itinerary that incorporated all of my hoped for locations. She was also very willing to work with me regarding our own Bonvoy/Marriott points which hotels and locations would be beneficial – we ended up not using any points for hotels and went with Angela’s booking. I was also appreciative of Angela’s in country knowledge. When I make decisions on the internet from a distance with out understanding map topography or neighborhood – I have found my choices lacking. Angela listened to my request and found accommodation that met most of our needs. We requested - two beds for teen boys (where possible), breakfast included, AC and WiFi, walkable neighborhoods (husband walks 3 mi every morning), AND at last minute – I made the request that properties were chemical and fragrance free – husband has chemical allergies… Angela called each property to confirm – we ended up having to change one Athens property as new construction is a problem. She was our A team.
I was also pleased that she was able to get us to Meteroa/Kalabaka. She accomplished this with a private driver which was more flexible than a train or tour for us. I did not understand HOW MUCH DRIVING it would be. I had even google mapped it prior and that did not prepare us for that much time in the “car” on days 3-4. We are still glad it was a part of our trip – with more knowledge I may have added a day/night in that region – Flown north and had a driver work us back towards Athens….Link it to the Mycenae day as well? This maybe would have required us to rent car and drive. There may have been away to look at that part of the itinerary differently – had I understood driving distances/times better and offered Angela another day to fill in that region.
I was also very thankful that Angela booked and managed our Ferry travel – websites make this sound easy, I was thankful to have a local expert helping there – with reservations, check in, ongoing communication re delays etc
ATHENS
Arriving at the airport to a driver and a van was a new experience - not having to think about transportation and delivering info about the hotel location was for me surprisingly beneficial – it started the trip in a relaxed state. The Electra Metropolis was an excellent hotel for our first nights in Greece. overall location, quality and am views from rooftop breakfast--this made our first morning in Athens magical.
Electra Metropolis – excellent location, very happy with rooms/accommodation. We had an executive rm and a standard ( 2 adults and 2 teen boys..15,18) – the seating in the executive roomwas a nice addition as we settled in to trip and time change. The rooftop pool and restaurant were truly special -tho the pool was crowded in the afternoon.
Our first tour of the city was with Kristina – she was informative and knowledgeable. We appreciated her insights into the history of Athens and is relation to mythology. Her stories and historic information gave us context for the architecture and established a foundation for the rest of our trip. Temple of Zues, Dionysis Theatre, Acropolis, Agora – Kristina was also helpful with information on how to tour the Stadium on our own later in the day. AND she recommended Django gelato - this was a winner.
Our driver for the overnight outing to Delphi/Kalabaka, Nikkos – was a gem. He genuinely engaged with us and the kids. He suggested local dishes and took us to restaurants he enjoyed. He was always accommodating of our interests and needs and was assertive enough to lead us well. There was also a lot of driving over those 2 days. Nikkos was a native of Chania and provided us a list of locations and restaurants (which we were happy to have and use) for out last few days scheduled on Crete, a true gentleman – he also provided us with umbrellas on 2 different occasions – we were un prepared for rain. The restaurants we went to that he rec: (and enjoyed both very much) Palazzo, Chania and Mylos tou Kerata in Plantanias

Delphi/Oracle of Apollo: Effie was our guide – she provided in-depth information regarding the process of the oracle/prophecies the history of the site and anecdotal information. She connected the stories with personal information – sharing about how growing up her own grandfather poured wine on the ground regularly to include/appease the gods. We started our tour in the museum to provide context for what we were to see – we were caught in a significant rainstorm during our walk around the grounds. She was accommodating of our interest to continue or cut things short.
Teatro Hotel Odysseon - this was a quaint accommodation right on the edge of town – had a pool /we did not use and served a marvelous local breakfast. We were able to walk into town and grab a bite at a creperie for a late night arrival snack/dinner – we had had a late lunch with Nikkos so that was plenty – there were restaurants available if we had wanted. The location, the service were excellent – the physical facilities were just what it needed to be for our needs and the price. We were happy with this choice of accommodation.
Our Hiking Tour of Meteora – Perfection – Hiking Guide Chris from Meteora Thrones Travel Center. This was the ideal way to see this area for my family. Picked up by bus and taken to Valaam Monastery for a self-guided tour. This one monastery offered us a great example and understanding of the workings and the context of the monasteries in the region. Chris, our 19-year-old local, who had already served his military and had a number of jobs and travels – taught us and identified local flora -wild oregano, tansy, chamomile, st john’s wort. He shared stories of hiking the rocks and caves (and photos) as a youth and was very open to our questions and sharing stories – we had another couple on the trek – an English couple 65+ who regularly hiked – it was a nice mix of travel tales and personal experiences. Chris also had a great understanding of the history of the region (wars/occupations) that he freely shared.
Meteora Monestary – it is highly possible that I didn’t read everything clearly enough – I did not understand that to enter the monastery a woman NEEDS a skirt – I just thought covering legs – as I brought pants. So the 3e purchase of a “wrap,skirt” was a surprise.
Return to ATHENS –
Gatsby hotel This boutique hotel was nice – a modern boutique hotel - lights and HVAC controlled by a computer panel (part of which didn’t work in our room – which sometimes makes you think you just didn’t undersatd how to use it – but we found that one our panels did not work) We were greeted after check in in our rooms with a lovely snack – accommodating allergies – GF room had a beautiful fruit platter and the boys were offered sliders. We the in the hotel first night - it was a great dining experience – dinner and breakfast the next morning. When we returned from our day out on the peleponnes the desk staff was wonderful – offering recommendation for dinner close by and introduning us to the general manager- a nice conversations – he found us a restaurant (we loved) near by and made arrangements for an early breakfast delivery – we were leaving early for a ferry. – GM name Galanis Ioannis, Gatsby. This was a good 2nd accommodation in Athens – excellent service.
Anastasis Svarnas: guide for Corinth, Nafplion, Mycenae and Epidaurus. This was our favorite guide and glad he came third. I enjoyed other guides – but might not have been as satisfied if we had had Anastasis before them. He brought the sites alive and had my kids asking questions – we loved the lunch restaurant in Nafplion (don’t know name – best gyros of the trip). I have forwarded his contact info to 2 other families that were already headed to Greece. He shared some of his scholarly pursuits with us and some of his own history and family stories.

Ferry to Santorini – a fine experience – not sure what I was expecting – glad Angela booked us into business class and kept us informed – walking on the boat with our luggage and stowing it then heading up was a bit chaotic - once we did it - we were better served for other ferries along the way.
Our ferry was cancelled (or we were bumped?) and our departure was much earlier - Nikkos (driver) suggested that we were lucky to then be confirmed on the early boat – so I am also grateful to angela for managing this

Santorini
White Pearl Villas – we liked the villa and the location right at the start of the pedestrian zone of Oia. We had a 2 level multiple balcony with a plunge pool. This gave us room to spread out and still be together. The staff was very accommodating great service. Our plunge pool was under cover - and maybe not as aesthetically glorious as some of the others - we were happy for the shade and did enjoy the indoor/outdoor space. And breakfast at the Luno café near by was nice in the morning.
Dinner at Gefsis – incredible meal and sunset view – my 18 year old’s first legal cocktail. And a beautiful 1st sunset welcome to the island
We hiked the caldera – to Fira day 2 we chose to go 1 way and in the late afternoon – it was hot but less crowded.
Sunset Cruise and dinner with Santorini yachting club - I liked the route – starting at the south end and dropping us at Oia in the evening I think there were 16 people on boat – the crew was great – opportunity to swim and food was lovely. Another gorgeous sunset. Also an opportunity to see the island from the water.
Ferry to crete –
We were on a late ferry to crete and needed to check out at 11 -- the villas had a general pool we were welcome to use we had a late breakfast and did some shopping – and hit the pool – with 2 other couples there-- there was no shade left – I think I would have scheduled a tour and had the driver drop us at ferry to fill this day
Blue Dome – the exterior, grounds, beach and pool and location of this property were all ideal. The ocean front 2 bedroom and large balcony were amazing – the furnishing and the showers were just below what should have been offered at a property like this. Even if using shower curtains at a vacation property – there are arched shower curtain bars and a few minor things that would have made this an amazing property. It seemed a shame that it fell short by so little. Many things we liked. We also learned that the pool was not necessary with the level of beach and beach access – that is for my own records.
Samaria Gorge: Guide Nikko – we really enjoyed the hike the guide. There are things you can’t know until you go - no where did the description suggest we bring snacks – we had water and swimsuits but some packed food would have been good – I guess I assumed there would be vendors at the rest stops or that the guide had packed something – because it was not suggested anywhere to bring food. We left the hotel in the van at 8 am only a snack level breakfast, and started hiking at 9;30 or 10 and were on the go for 4 -5 hours yes we had a late lunch in the village at bottom of gorge – but this was at about 2 or 3 pm. Nikko took very good care of us via flora and fauna and history and personal stories and he provided hiking poles (for us , very helpful) I also didn’t understand the size of the town we would be coming to or the size/scale of the “”boat” . I was glad to have a guide he got us to a lovely restaurant and made sure we got our ferry tickets and showed us the beach area – he also kept in touch re ferry there was a delay here too. Overall a positive day – just wish we had known about the food.

Kayak Fit for Crete Manu and Miltos – maybe Fiona was with us too?
The wind and some local restrictions changed our route this day – Guides can’t be responsible for the wind. One of our kids – had a very sore back from the kayaks (open ocean sit atops doubles) and working against the wind at the end of our tour was not ideal but the only way to get back to the beach. We enjoyed the guides and the other guests on this outing. The guides were solicitous of our comfort level for the paddle – with a variety of people and a variety of expectations it was hard to go against the group (hold them back) swimming and snorkeling was beautiful – we did not get to Elafonissi beach – too far with the wind issues – which I understand – but that was part of the goal of this particular outing. They were curious how we “found them” I said it was all Angela – they gave us a great rec for late lunch in the hills near by The Old School House 73001 Πελεκάνος +30 2823 083001.

What a trip. We could not have had more fun, eaten more delicious things, learned more or felt more cared for. Effie and her team really went the extra mile to ensure the best trip ever for our family. Every guide, driver, and hotel was outstanding.

Chris did an incredible job arranging our trip- everything was seamless. The touts were good and the guides were all pro. Yanni in Athens for a food and wine tour was over the top.
“Zack” was equally as good and so knowledgeable. Vera- the tour at Mecena was very interesting. She was one smart tour guide
The boat charter was good The captain Demitrus knew the boat and the islands.
Myaya - our host on the boat was incredible. She couldn’t do enough for us.
In Santorini- Theo was our guide - fantastic.
And our guide at attika ruines was also fantastic!
Overall, everything clicked and my group was very happy with the whole trip

Overall the entire not trip was great. We had a great captain in Dimitris. Knew the boat very well. I would have liked to have done a bit more sailing instead of motoring. Our host, Myaya was the best. We wanted for nothing- so accommodating

Rebeccas communication was fabulous; quick and on point. Naxos, Santorini and Crete exceeded our expectations.
Lazarus in Santorini was the best guide! Quick wit, knowledgeable and interesting. (And Panos was a great driver!). (George was awesome too— to Cape Sounion).
Hotels Belle Epoque and Elia Ermou— great locations, loved the view at Elia Ermou. 😀
Naxos Island Escapes— the hosts/managers were wonderfully gracious and hospitable. Lovely people and amazing breakfasts. The accommodations were not very functional: bathroom basement 1st floor, bedroom 3rd floor. No counter spaces. Seating was odd. But they were so sweet and welcoming we didnt mind.
Kasimatis by La Perla: perfect!! Gorgeous, comfortable, great location, loved the balcony and view! The breakfasts!! 🤤🤤. Too much and too irresistible to not eat every bite! And when other nearby hotels lost power, ours dod not; we had a generator.
My only regret was not listening more closely to Rebecca. Her original itinerary was better without my requested changes. All that i asked for were my least favorite parts of the trip. (Palace if Knossos/Heraklion). Loved Chania, wished we could have spent more time there.

Our trip was great, and working with KimKim made it easier. Chris was very helpful in suggesting an itinerary based on our preferences (mainland trip focused on archaeological sites but with a few beaches). His hotel choices were all great - centrally located to what we wanted to see. He also managed the rental car pickup/dropoff to make it superconvenient (pick up at our Athens hotel; drop off at our last night hotel). Beyond that, Chris was extremely responsive. He replied to emails and other messages promptly on what seemed 7 days a week, and managed to make the 11 hour time difference not a problem. Our guide for Acropolis tour (Elena) was also great. Very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable.

We stayed in the Sea View Apartment which is about a 5 minute walk from the main hotel and convenient to the city and restaurants. It was more space than our group of 3 needed, with an outdoor deck with a fantastic view of the harbor. Very charming and comfortable. The breakfast at the main hotel was fantastic!

We had the grand loft balcony suite which has two levels with a bed/bath on each, which worked for our family. Hotel is in a great location, with a short walk to all the main attractions. Room was quiet considering the hotel is on a main Athens street.

We really enjoyed this tour. We were initially concerned that our evening tour was too late, but it was very pleasant and we're told it is less crowded. Our guide, Eleni, was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. She was able to give us helpful context, answered questions, never rushed us, and even acted as our photographer.

Aggeliki planned a 10-day trip to Greece for me, my husband, and three of our best friends to celebrate my 40th birthday. We asked for a mix of both sight-seeing and excursions and time to relax and truly got it all! The mythology tour in Athens was the perfect way to see all the main sights in a half day. In Santorini, we loved the cooking class and wine tasting at Anhydrous Winery (we even shipped some wine home!) and the sunset catamaran cruise was nothing short of spectacular. We were so glad to wrap up our trip on Naxos—what a special island! Gorgeous views, crystal clear water at the beach, and overall a slower pace with fewer people (which was a nice break after Santorini!). Our very favorite tour was with our guide George. We visited an olive oil factory and then visited Mrs. Maria and Mr. Yannis at their farm to cook and eat together. Such a special experience! Aggeliki checked in with us regularly while we were there and helped us coordinate transportation when we wanted to add on another museum when we were on Santorini. Amazing customer service! Truly the trip of a lifetime and we are so grateful to Aggeliki for her skills in making it come to life!

Irene was phenomenal. From the start she helped us through planning the best week trip to Greece and was always available for us when we needed it. She planned a great itinerary for us with great hotels, guided and self-guided tours, restaurants and more. Irene is very friendly, sweet and knowledgable about the area. Very much recommend Irene for your next travel to Greece!

We loved the attention we got from Angela with KimKim. She made sure our drivers were briefed about our arrival times, she took the extra action to check us in for ferries, and she followed up after tours to get our opinions. Dimitrios and his team including Effie and others were wonderful. They helped us plan a perfectly balanced vacation. With a 2 year old and a 14 year old in tow this was far from an easy experience . Of course their support and help did not end there, they were in valuable while we were in country. They helped ensure every experience was perfect. On top of that they provided excellent recommendations for dinner and helped us make many dinner reservations while we were in the country and arrange transport to and from. I cannot say enough positive things. They truly allowed us to focus on being present on vacation and not focus on logistics and planning.

My family of 4 (2 adult kids) just finished our 10 day visit to Greece and it was amazing. A huge thank you to the KimKim team and in particular, our local Greek specialist, Aggeliki (Angela). She was amazing and put together a fantastic itinerary for us based on our specific likes and wants. It was perfect. The accommodations were perfect and very unique in each of Athens, Milos and Santorini. In each location the lodging was perfectly located and exactly the experience we were looking for. What made the overall experience so great was that all of our transfers were arranged for the various excursion and island transfers. Everything went perfectly as planned and Angela's detailed itinerary made our trip quite easy from day to day. Angela's suggested excursions were fantastic, including the Athens HIghlights Mythology Tour, Sailing tours in Athens, Milos and Santorini, as well as restaurant suggestions in all locations. I would specifically call out Angela's suggestion for the Best of Milos Half day tour with Michael K from Milos. Michael was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable of the history of Milos, but very funny and enjoyable to spend the afternoon with, and knew everyone on the island! At every stop, people left and right were calling out his name to say hello! He also had great dinner suggestions and was kind enough to go out of his way after the formal tour to drop my family off at a great swimming spot that he highly recommended.

Overall our Greece visit was amazing, exceeding all expectations from my entire family, and this is in large part to the great support we received from Angela and kimkim - i never could have booked the detailed agenda on my own. the entire experience was fantastic and we all look forward to our next trip to Greece again soon

Our experience working with Mariliza was amazing! She booked great experiences and accommodations for us for the entire trip. It was really nice to not have to worry about setting up really anything on our own. Mariliza really understood what we were hoping to do while on our trip, and we would not have wanted to change a thing. Santorini was such a beautiful island and Mariliza was even able to upgrade our accommodations there to a private villa, which was so beautiful. First of all, Angela our specialist went above and beyond our expectations. We were planning a big family trip (3 seniors, 2 young kids and 2 adults) and she thoughtfully planned every detail to meet everyone's needs. We had some ideas of where we wanted to go and timing but Angela truly brought our vision to life. Always providing knowledgable expertise and guidance on the final details.
We started our trip in Naxos which was perfect to adjust to the time change. It is an amazing laid back, easy-going island that isn't too busy, great restaurants and beautiful beaches. Naxos is a great hub spot if you want to do day trips to other islands. We stayed on Agios Prokopios - the most popular beach on the island and it was great.
Next my husband and I went to Mykonos - splurged with a beautiful hotel called My Aktis which was gorgeous and close to the beach clubs. This was our first time in Mykonos and I would suggest to stay in the old town as it's easier to rent or hire a car to get to the day clubs vs. the other way around. It was costly to use a hired car and not as seamless as I had initially thought. I had asked to stay closer to the beach clubs but I should have listened to Angela.
We then went to Santorini and stayed in a villa near Kamari beach for 3 nights which had a similar beachy vibe as Naxos. Drove into Oia and Fira as you need to see the views but 3 nights was enough. Black and pebble beaches are not practical for families but glad I went. I would consider staying in Perissa next time as the beach is more sand like but it's still hot.
Lastly Crete over delivered on our expectations. We stayed in the old town of Rethymno and it was absolutely beautiful. Pedestrian streets all around us with restaurants and shops. Stayed in a boutique hotel called Rimondi which was gorgeous and visited the famous elafonisi beach with pink sand (a must!). The island is huge - you can easily spend 2 weeks here and roam from town to town because it's so big.
Overall - each island provided something unique and different then the others - great blend of relaxing by the beach/pool, shopping and experiencing different tours, the people from Athens to every island were so friendly and don't forget about all the food which was incredible. Greece was a dream come true - thanks to our specialist Angela who was always there for us even during the trip when we needed to make some updates/modifications. Will use this service again - 100%!

The front desk was odd - they kept commenting on what our kids should/shouldn't be doing (they forget that kids can be loud/a bit wild) also they wouldn't take our garbage that we acquired from the local bakery. We had to find a garbage can outside - it was just odd their rules.

This hotel is a dream - gorgeous setting, friendly staff and amazing view and food. We didn't realize our initial booking was at the Lumen Building which is a 5 min walk to the central location - this building is new but the rooms are smaller, view isn't great plus its actually not a great walk to the main building because it's all uphill. We upgraded to the main building after the first night.

Villas are close to Kamari which is a great spot that isn't as touristy as Oia and Fira.

Driver was awesome, punctual and very knowledgable. Didn't realize the drive was 2.5hrs from our hotel which limited the length of time we spent on the actual beach. KimKim was absolutely amazing!! We booked this trip 3 years ago as our honeymoon and had to postpone due to covid. Rebecca was our local specialist and she was absolutely amazing!! They were extremely flexible with our rebooking. Rebecca was on top of this and was following all our flights and new when we were delayed. She checked in with us once we arrived and selected the best tour guides!! Theodore on Athens was extremely personable! Our tours in Santorini were given by Gus and Kostas, and they were both very knowledgeable! All of our hotels were gorgeous and, and Greece itself was beyond anything we could have imagined! Everyone in Greece is extremely friendly and we would recommend going there in a heartbeat! Santorini is somewhere you could EASILY spend a week and still not get enough! We truly appreciate everything Rebecca did for us!

Our planning team of Ina and the Travel12 care team was exceptional. Ina really worked on meeting our diverse needs for beaches, vegan and gluten free eaters, hiking and cultural outings. Pretty much a perfect fit for our family of 5. Accommodations and transport were excellent, and we consistently got compliments on (Ina’s) choices of Naxos, Paros, and Tinos for a low tourist, good outdoors options. We highly recommend these folks!

This is a very nice modern hotel, well situated near the old town plaza and acropolis. Everything was great except that there was apparently a new night spot that was playing booking musing until 4am. We aren’t night life people so this was not great. But the hotel was very clean and breakfast was also good.

This place is wonderful. The rooms are spacious and airy. The facility is traditional but modernized. It fits nicely with the town atmosphere and there are several excellent restaurants very close by. Staff is super helpful and breakfast was good. Nice kitchenette too!

Very nice modern hotel with a balcony view of the ocean. A bit far from downtown and Nasaou is quite hilly, but this location is also quiet and has easy rental car parking.

Average airport hotel. Location is close to Rafina port for ferry, but otherwise average. This area has clearly seen some decline so there isn’t much it eh way of restaurants or shops around. There is a mediocre public beach next to the hotel.

This is a very authentic boutique hotel in Tinos, which is not very touristy and so hotel options appear to be more limited. The owners are fantastic people, super friendly and helpful. The facility itself is very traditional garden style which we found a bit claustrophobic although the quality of the interior was very nice decor if a little older styling and wear. I think that this is a nice place but not as light and airy as our other hotels on Naxos and Paros. Recommended for authentic feel and staff, but be aware this is a very close-knit experience.

One of the best parts of our trip was as this cooking class with Katerina. She and her mother were so friendly and accommodating and the class was really fun! She had no problem providing vegan options and the small village was beautiful!

We drove and there was lots to see

We have been back a week now and wish we could return to the trip that Aggeliki planned for us. We took a giant leap of faith using this KimKim app which we had never heard of....to our delight it was well worth the leap of faith. Aggeliki, our representative from KimKim in Greece was a 10/10. She had everything planned out correctly including all driver pick ups and ferry trips. We made all plans including our itinerary and hotel changes, tour changes and updates right through the app with only one actual telephone call.
When our ferry was late while in Greece and we had not yet received notification from the ferry company, Aggeliki had already alerted us of the delay. She is professional and efficient and was available to us the entire trip, via the app or through whatsapp. We don't think she actually ever sleeps!
As for the trip...Aggeliki always had us arriving to our tour with extra time. I will say there was alot of wait around time in certain circumstances, but to her benefit we believe she was erring on the safe side to allow for traffic, etc. and overall delays.
Greece is not only a beautiful historic place to visit, but the hospitality of the people is a 10/10.
